Chapter 63: Of Artists and Beliefs.

POV: Belief

It was a beautiful thing, the world. Thousands of living creatures all going about their days, not knowing of just how much bigger it all was.

I was currently looking out of a 'window' into the material world; Preparing myself for what was to come. I knew what I and the other minor-gods needed to do, but it wouldn't be easy. From the immaterial realms, the material one was so small; To find anything in the material realm from the immaterial one would be as difficult as pointing out a speck of dust miles away from oneself.

To find the one named Lor, one who had hidden themselves from the eyes of the divine... I would need to take drastic measures.

All of a sudden, a voice called out from behind me. "Hey! Belief!"

I looked over my shoulder and sighed, "Hey, you doing good Artist?"

Artist was a rather beautiful woman, she had a flowing forest green dress with accents of silver; Ribbons of all colors were tied into her black hair. She was also way too energetic for someone who didn't have lots of followers.

"I'm doing great! I can't wait to experience the material realm myself!"

"I'm not too sure about that myself, who knows what could happen... "

"Aww, c'mon Bel, don't be so negative! We'll find that Lor guy and then we're gonna be free from Ter- The king!"

I nodded at her, acknowledging her slip-up, thankfully she hadn't said the full name. No need to catch his attention. "I- it's just that I can't help but feel like something is going to go wrong."

Artist seemed a bit sadder, but was still her cheerful self. But then, something unexpected happened; The woman darted forward and hugged me tight. It felt nice.

"Don't worry about that." Artist began, "Nothing is gonna go wrong; And if it does, we'll get through it."

I stayed still in slight shock for a moment, before wrapping my own arms around her.

"Yeah, I guess everything will be alright."

Sorry for the wait! School ain't easy, and I'm currently trying to make sense of the mess that this story is; Honestly, this is really badly written, but it will at least be good training for a future story!
