NOVEL FROG The Discharge Part 2
Nurse POV
When she pulled her head from the sergeant's head her eyes were a little red and swollen but the sergeant did't let her go and still hold her tightly, A giggle leaked leaked from my mouth when i saw that before any body could misunderstand i hurriedly stopped myself from giggling .
After a while when sergeant left her from his embrace there was a conversation between them which i could't hear but the face of the little girl was little pale.
There conversation went for nearly 10 min and after that sergeant stood waked towards us who were at the door and
"She will co-operate now and her name is Iris,I will come back after reporting about it at the police station" He said it and left the room.
"Thank you sergeant" Said the doctor who was standing beside me
After that me and the doctor went into her room and doctor started checking her health.After a while doctor said it was all good and went out of the room without having any conversation with the girl which made feel a little bad for her
I went in close to her bed a little reserved ans asked her if she wanted some fruit,When she heard I said fruit there was a different light in her eyes which i interpret as eagerness. I went to the fruit basket near her bed sat on a bench and started peeling a apple.
"What is your name"I asked trying to start a conversation.
"Iris" she said.
"After eating so you want to clean yourself a little but" I asked
"Can i take a bath"She asked sheepishly
She looked so cute I thought
"No you can't take a bath but i can your body with a cloth if you want"
"Yes"She eagerly said
I peeled the apple cut it into a plate and and gave the plate to her.
when she saw the apples she started eating with her hands so fast that it seemed liked she has't eaten anything for quite some time.
"Eat slowly or you will choke"
As i sad that she choked.I swiftly went to her bead and started rubbing her back and gave her water.
She took a deep breath and and calmed down.
This was our routine for 2 days and after there was her discharge
On the day of her discharge i went into her room to talk about some examination before she could go home.
She agreed for the examinations.
After the examinations sergeant came to take her home.
Before she left she came to me and bowed and said
"Thank you everything but i have one last thing to ask-What is your name"
What would become of me i did't even tell her my name i felt embarrassed and said
"My name is Sophie"
She thanked me again and started walking towards the door
Before she could go out i went to her and said
"If you have any problem you can come to me'
She beamed a big smile and said
"of course i would".
