I was dazed figuring out what to do now,he was apologizing to me for something he can't.I have never experienced loss of a loved in my previous life of this so i can't really understand it. He placed me on the bed and started walking out before i could answer and to stop him and clear the misunderstanding i shouted hastily
"STOP"
He immediately looked back and i got a little conscious and replied while being a little embarrassed
"I think you did't do anything wrong and for you to see me as you lost daughter,I don't mind it as i can never know how you feel as i never lost someone and there is no one to lose now"
There was a pity in his eyes and i did't feel comfortable,So i averted my eyes
"Okay then,If you say so. I am going to make some food,any preferences ?" He said
"NO"I replied
After that he went out of the room and closed the door.
I sat on the bed thinking what to do now,Ever since i came to this world this was the first time i felt safe and carefree just like in my previous life but i still don't know where I am.
To pass time i decided to explore the room. The walls were in light pink color which felt soothing for me and the bed was like a heaven for me just like it was in the hospital.
i went and opened the drawer of the table and saw there was nothing in their,I opened another one but still nothing,There was only a pencil/pen stand and a dictionary. There was also a closet,I went and opened it,still there was nothing.It felt a little weird to me but anyways i ignored it.
Just i was going to lie on my bed i heard a loud noise of someone falling.
I quickly went out of the room to see what had happened.There was Ralph fallen from a stool with his hair full of flour and a bowl at his head.
A giggle escaped from my mouth,I quickly covered my mouth but still i could't stop my giggling.
He seemed a little embarrassed.
"Want some help" I asked
"Do you know how to cook ?" He asked
"Yes i know enough to sustain both of us if you want" I replied still giggling at his fortune of white hair.
"Okay then,Please help me" He replies.
"Do you not know how to cook"I asked
"No" He replied with a little red face.
"So how were you living of the last six months ?" I asked a little worriedly
"Fast food" He replied
When he said that I know there was a disappointing look on my face.
"Come on then let's start cooking" i said
I pondered a little for what to make and decided to make omelette.I asked him for some eggs,oil and a pan. Just i was tuning on the burner he took the lighter from me and said
"Children don't play with the gas stove"
I made a annoyed look and he laughed at that. Still i could't say anything to him as he was kind enough for me to keep me in his house for some time So i quickly changed my expression.
I made some omelette and he toasted some bread. He put the toast and omelette in a plate and we headed to the dining room.
After eating he asked if i wanted to watch a show on a TV but as soon as he said that there was a regretted look on his face. I ignored it and said
"Okay then,Good night"
After saying that i went to my room and lied on my bed and thought this house was not permanent and darkness engulfed me.
This was my first day and what awaited me was a lot of happiness and lot of pain.
