American Comics: The Mighty Superman, Starting From Gwen Spider

Chapter Ten: Introducing Superman

Regardless of which Spider-man's world it is, classic archenemies will always appear.

Kingpin, the underground king of New York, the Sinister Six, Hunter Clay, Venom, Morbius, and others are all classic villains in the Spider-man world.

Therefore, when Peter saw Hunter Clay in his distinctive outfit, he immediately guessed his identity.

No matter who the opponent is, Peter feels it necessary to meet him.

Once again, Peter's body soared into the air like a rocket, his gaze fixed on Gwen.

In less than a second, Peter reached hundreds of meters high.

Then, Peter stomped the air with his right foot.

"Boom!"

In the piercing sound of the explosion, Peter's body instantly broke the sound barrier and entered a state of supersonic flight.

A white cone-shaped sonic boom cloud appeared in front of Peter. At this moment, he was like a high-speed fighter jet, gliding over the city and heading straight for Gwen's location.

...

"I was supposed to have a wonderful night, chatting with the person I like. But you, you ruined it," Gwen brushed off the dust from her hands.

Looking up at the convenience store robber wrapped in a spider web cocoon, hanging from a street lamp, Gwen expressed her dissatisfaction.

"No, wait a minute. How could a low-level criminal like you make my Spider Telepathy so strong?" Gwen realized something was wrong. She had already dealt with this criminal, so why was Spider Telepathy still working...?

In other words, the source of Spider Telepathy wasn't the guy wrapped in a cocoon hanging from the street lamp?!

"Oh no!"

The strong Spider Telepathy made Gwen aware of the danger approaching from behind.

Instinctively, Gwen tapped her foot and leaped forward with agility.

While leaping forward to create distance, Gwen turned her head to look behind her. Where she had been standing, a sharp spear had unexpectedly fallen.

Gwen couldn't fathom the strength of the person who threw this spear. It had pierced through the sturdy concrete ground!

"Goodness, is this for real? Using a spear as an attacking weapon, they're treating me like a mammoth from the Ice Age." Gwen complained while shifting her gaze to the dim alleyway ahead.

But just then, a piercing sonic boom from the sky caught Gwen's attention.

The intense sonic boom not only caught Gwen's attention, but even Clayton, who had just emerged from the dim alleyway, couldn't help but look up.

"Well, it seems like there was a fighter jet flying by just now. It looks like it's getting lively tonight, isn't it?" Gwen looked at the tall figure emerging from the dim alleyway, her eyebrows slightly furrowed.

"Wait a minute, buddy, what kind of new style is this? You look like a hippie, no, that sounds impolite, actually I mean..."

"Alright, shut up, Spider-Woman," said Klyven as he pulled out the spear stuck in the ground and looked up at Gwen. "Spider-Men are indeed all talkative, and this universe's version is no exception."

"All the Spider-Men I've killed before were men, but you, Spider-Woman, you will be the first female Spider-Man I hunt down," said the hunter Klyven, licking his dry lips and excitedly looking at Gwen.

"Hey, Mr. Lion? Do you want to take a look at what you just said?" Gwen remained on guard at all times.

Suddenly, Gwen seemed to realize something belatedly and asked in astonishment, "Wait...did you just mention something? Spider-Men? There are many Spider-Men in this universe? But why haven't I heard of them?"

"From what you're saying, are you from another universe?"

"Multi-universe? String theory is real? You're joking, right?"

With a wave of his right arm, Klyven's sharp spear made a sound as it cut through the air. Faced with Spider-Woman's confusion, he clearly had no intention of explaining, saying, "All you need to remember is that my name is Klyven, Hunter Klyven..."

"Specifically here to...hunt you down!"

As he finished speaking, Klyven's right hand swiftly threw several poisoned flying darts towards Gwen.

"You dishonorable guy!" Gwen performed several backflips in a row, agilely dodging each of the flying darts.

Then, Gwen leaped a few times and landed steadily on a nearby lamppost.

Looking down at the menacing hunter Klyven below, Gwen spread her hands and said, "Seriously, I have never heard of you. Suddenly being chased by a man wearing a lion head vest and leopard print pants is really a headache-inducing situation."

"Perhaps we should sit down and have a good talk?"

"Talk?" Hunter Kevin clenched his right hand, and the muscles in his arm bulged: "The best way to negotiate is to take your head off your neck."

"Seriously, buddy, you seem a little crazy. I should call a doctor for you and have them check you out."

Gwen was about to raise her hand to release a cobweb, but in that instant, a black shadow descended from the sky and landed on the side of the road.

Amidst the ear-shattering explosion, billowing smoke and dust rose from the street.

Gwen, crouching on the lamppost, could vaguely see a blurry figure in the thick smoke and dust.

"Oh, look, what's going on now? Satellite debris falling?" A sly expression appeared on Gwen's masked face, with one eye squinting and the other wide open.

Hunter Kevin was also startled by the sudden explosion.

Turning his head, he saw a tall figure in a black battle suit slowly emerging from the thick smoke and dust.

"Hunter Kevin, we need to talk."
