American Comics: The Mighty Superman, Starting From Gwen Spider

Chapter Eleven: Man Of Steel

In most Marvel universes, DC comics exist.

Similarly, in the DC universe, Marvel comics also exist.

Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and other superheroes are characters in the comic world of the Marvel universe.

Among these DC comic characters, Superman and Batman are still the most popular.

It is precisely because Hunter Clayton knows that Superman and Batman are characters from comics that he feels that the scene he sees is a bit absurd.

Damn it, did he actually see Superman from DC comics?

Gwen, squatting on the street lamp, widened her eyes and said, "Oh my gosh?!... Well, let me calm down. Did I just see Superman?"

"Oh, shoot!" Gwen held her cheeks and looked at Superman, who emerged from the smoke, unable to help but exclaim, "Are you Superman? The fictional superhero from DC comics?"

"Am I not dreaming tonight?" Gwen's words were full of shock.

Even though she had become Spider-Woman and had seen many criminals, Gwen still found it difficult to accept what she was seeing.

Characters from DC comics appearing in the real world...

This is far more shocking than the boy in leopard print who just revealed that he came from another universe.

Although the person who appears to be Superman in front of her is not wearing the classic red and blue battle suit, the 'S' symbol on his chest is too conspicuous.

Only Superman's battle suit has that 'S' symbol on the chest in the whole world.

Not only Gwen is shocked, but also the criminal who was hanging from the street lamp by Gwen earlier, the cashier in the nearby convenience store, and the pedestrians on the street, all of them are stunned by Peter's appearance.

A black battle suit, the 'S' symbol on the chest, a figure descending from the sky... Isn't this Superman from DC Comics?

"Spider-Woman, I've heard of you." Peter smiled slightly at Gwen and nodded.

After exchanging greetings, Peter shifted his gaze to the figure of Clark in front of him.

"You are... Superman?" Clark asked uncertainly.

"No, you can't be Superman! There's absolutely no way Superman exists in this universe!" Clark grabbed the spear in his hand and assumed a fighting stance. "You're just playing tricks!"

Clark took a step forward with his right foot, causing a slight disturbance in the air, and charged towards Peter.

Watching the hunter Clark rushing towards him at a speed of nearly thirty meters per second, Peter's expression remained unchanged.

Seeing that his opponent didn't dodge or evade, Clark's eyes flashed with fierceness as he tightened his grip on the spear and thrust it towards Peter's abdomen.

"Clang—"

Clark had intended to stab through Peter's stomach, but at the moment the sharp spear collided with Peter's abdomen, only a few sparks of gold appeared.

It should be noted that with Clark's strength, even with the help of a sharp spear, he could pierce through steel plates, but the spear fell on Peter... and didn't even pierce through his battle suit!

The black Superman battle suit was made by Peter using special materials from Krypton in the "Steel Body" world. This battle suit is extremely tough, and with the enhancement of Superman's biological field, it won't be damaged even in intense battles.

Even if the black battle suit is damaged, it has an automatic repair function.

"Impossible!" Clark's pupils suddenly contracted.

He exerted all his strength, gritted his teeth, veins bulging on his forehead, and tried his best to pierce the guy in front of him with the spear.

What's frustrating is that the other party completely ignored his attack!

A sense of inexplicable humiliation surged in Klayven's heart.

Peter did not give the other party a chance to take advantage. His gaze shifted downward, looking at the spear firmly pressed against his chest and abdomen. His right fist immediately exploded like a cannonball.

Bang!

The sharp spear in Klayven's hand couldn't withstand the violent punch at all. In the instant it was hit by the fist, the spear shattered and broke into several pieces, falling to the ground.

Seeing his weapon shattered by the opponent's punch, Klayven couldn't help but take a step back.

As an experienced hunter, Klayven knew very well in his heart that he had encountered a monster!

The guy in front of him was definitely a monster, an existence that he couldn't possibly contend with!

A strong sense of suffocation enveloped Klayven, making his heart beat wildly.

But when Klayven regained his senses and looked forward, Superman, who had been standing there, was nowhere to be seen.

"I said I need to talk to you." Peter lightly patted Klayven's neck.

The perfectly timed force caused Klayven to faint on the spot and fall to the ground.

Peter reached out and grabbed Klayven's arm, preparing to carry him somewhere to have a good chat.

Seeing Peter about to leave, Gwen finally reacted and swiftly jumped down from the lamppost, landing in front of Peter.

"No, please wait, you... No, Superman, where are you taking this guy?" Gwen quickly approached, her gaze falling on the unconscious Klayven.

Whether it was the Superman who seemed to have come out of a DC comic or the unconscious Klayven who was knocked out by Superman, both of them were mysteries to Gwen.

"Little Spider-Man, I think you should go back and rest early."

"Uh, yeah, you're right, I should go back and rest early, but..." Gwen's words were cut off as Peter's figure soared into the air.

"Alright."

Gwen slumped her shoulders, knowing that Superman seemed unwilling to continue talking to her.

After reaching a certain height, Peter suddenly accelerated.

Boom!!

A violent shockwave exploded beneath Peter, and as he continued to accelerate, the solid white sonic boom clouds appeared in front of him.

Amidst the booming sound of the sonic booms, Peter, carrying Hunter Clevin, quickly disappeared into the distant sky.

Feeling the shockwave caused by Superman breaking the sound barrier in an instant, as well as his flight speed faster than a fighter jet... Gwen was somewhat stunned and began to doubt her life.

Was the person she saw tonight really Superman? If not, then he was incredibly strong!

But if he was, wasn't Superman a character from comics? How could he appear in the real world...

More importantly... if she told Peter that she saw Superman tonight, he definitely wouldn't believe her, right?

Listening to the approaching sirens of police cars, Gwen also knew that she needed to leave this place quickly.
