American Comics: The Mighty Superman, Starting From Gwen Spider

Chapter Nine: Kraven The Hunter

"Shy?"

Peter shook his head and said seriously, "I think I should express it more accurately. What I actually mean is... I should be the one to protect you."

"Isn't it because I'm also a man?"

Gwen stared at Peter in astonishment. It was hard to imagine such words coming out of Peter's mouth.

"If you really think so, Peter, you should exercise...," Gwen reached out and patted Peter's chest, but suddenly froze.

Recalling the feeling of touching Peter's chest just now, Gwen's mouth opened slightly in surprise. "Oh my gosh, Peter, is it just my imagination? Your body seems to have become more solid!"

"I've been exercising recently, and it seems like the results are finally showing," Peter shrugged.

"That's a good thing, isn't it? Peter, I'm glad to see you-" Gwen's words came to a halt.

With a puzzled expression on Peter's face, Gwen looked towards the area where the sound of police sirens was echoing in the distance.

Just now, Spider Telepathy told Gwen that a terrible danger was quietly approaching.

The intensity of Spider Telepathy made Gwen very uneasy, so she quickly looked at Peter and said, "Peter, I'm sorry... I have a stomachache..."

"Uh, okay..."

"Peter, see you tomorrow! Wake up early!"

As she was about to disappear into the entrance of the staircase, Gwen poked her head out and waved to Peter, "Bye, Peter, good night and sweet dreams."

"Goodnight, Gwen," Peter smiled and waved his hand, regardless of whether Gwen saw it or not.

It was only when the stage became completely quiet that Peter turned around.

Resting his hands on the railing, Peter carefully gazed at the central city area in the distance and the even more distant Brooklyn Bridge.

After a moment, Peter finally withdrew his gaze.

"Did Gwen's Spider Telepathy just sense some danger?" he wondered.

"If that's the case, I'll take this opportunity to test it out and hopefully gain a better understanding of Superman's abilities."

Peter swung his arm and activated his ability as a comic book traveler.

Opening the comic book and film module, he clicked on the "DC Movies" folder and played the movie "Superman: Man of Steel."

Dragging the progress bar to the beginning of the plot of "Superman: Man of Steel," Peter hesitated for no more than a moment before choosing to travel!

Entering the world of "Superman: Man of Steel," Peter had only one goal - to go to the exploration ship located in the Arctic glacier on Earth and create three sets of battle suits.

For his everyday use, Peter planned to make a completely black battle suit.

The black Superman battle suit not only increased the efficiency of absorbing sunlight, but also looked cool when worn.

As for the other two sets of battle suits, Peter planned to choose a classic red and blue battle suit, along with the power armor worn by the Kryptonian warriors.

The power armor was the same armor that Zod wore when he first arrived on Earth in the world of Man of Steel.

The Power Armor comes with a black cloak and has a very cool overall design.

When the Kryptonian puts on the Power Armor, even without being exposed to the yellow sun, they can still unleash astonishing combat power, which is a major advantage.

Peter's goal is very clear, he did not intend to stay in the Steel Body world.

After successfully creating three sets of battle suits using the abilities of the exploration spaceship, Peter returned to the main world.

Peter's figure appeared again on the originally empty rooftop.

When Peter went to the Steel Body world, he was wearing casual clothes.

But after coming back from the Steel Body world, the clothes on Peter's body have turned into a set of pitch-black Superman battle suit.

With the physique strengthened by the Superman bloodline, and against the backdrop of the black Superman battle suit, Peter looks perfectly proportioned.

Peter's current physique is to the extent that even girls would drool when they see it!

Slowly raising his arms, Peter clenched his fists, and the air immediately resounded with the sound of bursting.

Looking up at the sky, Peter slowly spread his right hand, and the invisible life field spread out from his body as the center.

Under the effect of the life field, Peter's feet broke free from the constraints of gravity, leaving the ground, and his whole body floated in mid-air.

The black cloak behind Peter's battle suit fluttered in the high-altitude night wind.

At the same time, Peter expanded his Super Vision and super hearing to their maximum range.

Although Super Vision and Super Hearing currently only cover a range of about five kilometers, this range is already very good for Peter, who has just awakened his Superman powers.

"Gwen..." Peter's eyes darted around.

Relying on his amazing visual ability, Peter quickly locked onto Gwen's location.

Gwen, wearing the Spider battlesuit, was swinging down from the sky with cobwebs. She landed in front of a convenience store where a crime was taking place.

New York City is a famous city of sin, where the number of daily crimes far exceeds that of Gotham City in DC.

Whether it's shooting incidents or zero-dollar purchases, they are endless in this city.

And considering that this is Marvel's New York City... the crime rate is naturally higher.

With the support of his amazing visual ability, Peter saw a figure lurking in the shadows.

Near the convenience store where Gwen was, there was a dim alley. Near the entrance of the alley, a muscular man wearing a lion head vest and leopard print pants was leaning against the wall, enjoying the show.

"This guy..."

Seeing the appearance and attire of the man hiding in the dim alley, Peter frowned, and a name came to mind - 'Hunter Clayton'.

"The situation seems very bad, my little Spider-Man is in danger."
