The Otherworldly Adventures of a Super Naive Girl

Chapter 98: How About this Older Sister?

“Be careful. I have a bad feeling about this. Elena’s eyes look like trouble.” Luis whispered to Ming Xi when he saw the exchange.

“Senior Elena really likes taking advantage of the cute juniors.” Gerasi sighed as he looked at the cute girl in front. He just knew Elena was going to cause trouble for the poor thing.

“Is that really the little sister who publicly confessed? She doesn’t look like the type.” Luis wondered in a soft voice as he held his chin in his hand.

“Stop talking and eat your roast duck.” Ming Xi said before he resumed calmly drinking his tea. He didn’t intend to pay any attention to Elena.

Tian Ya was his habitual silent self. The only two things he was interested in was practicing his sword and eating fine food. Everything else paled in comparison.

“Little sister, are you Feng Wu? The one who wrote that love letter to Ming Xi and publicly confessed to him?” Elena excitedly asked. Her eyes were bright like two magic orbs.

“No way! Is Xiao Wu really that forward? To publicly confess with a love letter to a venerable senior like that?” Wind shook his head, not believing it for a second.

“Got lost!” Rain kicked her good-for-nothing older brother as she went over to Feng Wu’s side. “Xiao Wu, what’s wrong? Say something. That pretty one over there is your crush isn’t he? No wonder you confessed. He’s as beautiful as the moon.” Rain gushed as she stared at Ming Xi’s face.

“Xiao Wu, you really like that guy? You have to look beyond the surface. Some people are gorgeous on the outside but are rotten on the inside. You mustn’t let a pretty face fool you!” Pei Qing became agitated as he looked at Ming Xi. How could there be someone so pretty in this world?!

He barely finished speaking when he felt a bitingly cold killing intent aimed at him. A flash of silver streaked before his face.

Just when everyone thought something bad would happen to him, he disappeared and reappeared behind Jier.

“What the fuck?! Who was that?! Why would you attack a person out of the blue?!” Pei Qing stuck his head out from behind Jier. It was obvious he had suffered a fright.

“What?! Such a murderous blow and it didn’t hit? If he was stabbed we would have each had an extra ten thousand gold in our shares!” Rain stared disappointedly at Tian Ya. How did someone who looked like such an expert not hit his target? What a let down.

“A pity,” said Wind, likewise disappointed.

“How can you guys kill me off just for a quick buck?” Pei Qing said still hiding behind Jier.

“You’re pretty strong. Let’s fight.” Tian Yu completely ignored the twins and addressed Pei Qing directly. His eyes were full of passion. A strong opponent just appeared in front of him, how could he not be excited?

“A dimensional magician. Even in the Sacred Temple, that’s rare.” Luis couldn’t help but comment; he was so amazed.

How could those who accompany him not know how fast Tian Ya’s sword was? Anyone able to dodge it wasn’t your run of the mill guy. Didn’t expect someone so ordinary looking to be a master of dimensional space.

"These guys, their backgrounds can’t be normal. Wouldn’t you agree Ming Xi?” Gerasi asked.

Ming Xi nodded his head but didn’t say anything. He wasn’t interested in the backgrounds of anyone around Feng Wu. He didn’t want to have anything to do with her, period. What if she went off and publicly confessed to him again? He got a headache just thinking about it.

“Big brother, spare me! I’m just a minor magician. How can I be your opponent?” Pei Qing didn’t want to be in any duel. He had no qualms about lowering his reputation if it meant avoiding the fight.

“Enough! Stop fighting already. You dare a draw a sword willy nilly like that? When we get back this big sister is going to take you under the blankets and have a talk with you about life!” Elena let her frustration out at Tian Ya. She just wanted to molest the little sister a bit. Why was it so hard?!

The threat worked. Tian Ya’s ears turned red, cracking his normally aloof image. Was it because he was angry or because he was acting shy? It was anyone’s guess.

Tian Ya glanced at Elena. He sheathed his sword and sat back down next to Ming Xi.

Excellent. The meddlesome people were finally silenced. Now Elena could get down to business. She pulled Feng Wu’s hand and said, “Cutie pie, come over here and tell Big Sister Elena what it is you like about our family’s Little Ming Xi.”

“He’s sweet and caring to all his female classmates but be careful. He’s actually a total slag. Why don’t you consider me instead? I’m such a gorgeous babe. What part of me is not as good as that kid over there?”

Jier pulled Feng Wu’s hand out of Elena’s claws after hearing her words. He directly pushed her behind him, shielding her from Elena. He had to be careful, otherwise this shameless perverted thug was going to abduct Feng Wu.

“I can't consider you because you can’t be Xiao Ye’s[notes] father.” Feng Wu replied to Elena’s question after some thought. She had been a little dazed by the proposal, but once she came to her senses she answered honestly and earnestly.

Jier wondered: Girl, shouldn’t you just straight out reject the hooligan? What’s with this thoughtful response?

Feng Wu was surprised. This new world of hers allowed two females to marry?

“Junior sister, you’re joking right?” How rare. No one had ever managed to one up Elena before.
