The Married Life Of Immortals

Chapter 138: Training Wild Women

Zerynthia growled, and then crossed her arms. "Fine! But when something happens, I am not helping you!"

Elexis snorted. "Oh yes, and I am sure you will just stand there and let it happen!"

"Shut it, cow!"

"Stupid bitch!"

"Wench!"

"Floozy!"

"Enough!" Bane snapped, and then looked at Agnar. "You see this shit? Ridiculous!"

Angar shrugged. "Everyone is still alive. No limbs are missing. I don't see the problem. Looks like normal demon behavior to me. A bit timid for my taste, yet demons aren't timid. That is a human trait. Demons can be subservient, but they will always seek power. Betrayals come as easy as you breathe, so forgive me if I can't feel sorry for you."

This shut the demon women up, but the look on Zerynthia's face was a mix between confused and angry.

"Wait! Are you saying you think I am weak? I will show you weakness!" Zerynthia screamed, and then ran forward with her fist pulled back.

Bane shook his head, and snapped his fingers, encasing the woman in a rectangular block of ice.

Angar laughed, and then walked over to tap on the ice block with a child-like smile. "And just like that, you shut her up. Amazing. I wish I could do something like this. The number of headaches that could be prevented with just the snap of your fingers!"

Bane nodded. "Yeah, this witch is the worst of the bunch," he said, and then kicked the block over on its side, and looked at the girls, snapping his fingers again. "You two pull her.”

As he did, a long corded white rope started to spill out of thin air, and Bane lifted his other hand, palm up, lifting the block of ice up into the air. With another snap of his fingers, a sled formed under it, and the rope tied it itself down, shooting the two ends out front as pull ropes.

Angar shook his head as both the women started to pull the ice block without another word. It moved with the help of the sled without much effort from either woman.

"Are you sure you are a human? I have seen demons do less for much more, if I am being honest."

Bane snorted. "If she was that easy to kill, I would have got rid of her a while back. No, this fire chicken is in need of a cool down, and that is what she will get."

"Fair, but why is she staying like this? I know that she is a phoenix, and something like this should be nothing for her to break out of, right?" Angar asked, and Bane smiled.

"Proper training of wild women is needed sometimes. This one is as wild as they come, but I will curb that enthusiasm and put a chill on her burning dumpster fire of a personality," Bane said as they started to walk alongside the sled.

"Impressive is all I have to say," Angar mused, glancing down at the ice block from time to time.

"Do you know Zerynthia?" Bane asked, and Angar gave him a knowing look.

"Not many demons in this area don't know of the demon Phoenix, Zerynthia Nyx'Ashura. She is known for burning down entire regions at the smallest of provocations. I just find it hard to believe that she would rather stay frozen than fight back against you!"

"That is because it is not a fight against him for any of us. No demon can fight him, they can only become his slave, or meal. Count your blessing that you have been given the chance to be his slave," Elexis called back, but then added. "I am also first in line to get defiled, so don't try to sweet talk you way in front of me!"

Angar laughed. "Oh? Are you his slave too?"

"We are all his slaves, but we will be the most spoiled slaves in existence!" Nia cheered, and Agnar glanced at Bane, who just shrugged.

"They refused to leave me alone," he said, and Angar snorted.

"Then just kill them, easy, or are they your bed whores? Wives?"

This made Bane shake his head. "Neither. I just don't like killing without provocation."

"What? You looked like you were making an attempt on my life when we first met, did you not?" Angar asked, but both women started to giggle, making him look at them. "What did I say that was funny?"

"You really don't get it?" Elexis asked, and Nia tipped her head to the side.

"Do you really think our master was trying?" Nia asked, and Angar's brow furrowed as he pulled his head back in confusion.

"What am I missing?" He asked after a moment, and Elexis gestured around her.

"Do you not see the ice around us? You know he did that, right? HE FROZE AN ENTIRE ACTIVE VOLCANO AND AT LEAST 100 MILES AROUND IT! Do you now understand the being that stands before you?" Elexis demanded, and Bane rolled his eyes, mostly because they weren't moving.

"Put a sock in it and get moving," Bane growled, and both women nodded, going back to their task.

Agnar was still trying to process everything he was hearing, and shook his head. "But how? How could a human do that?"

Bane glanced at him and shrugged. "I am not normal."

"No kidding? Sheesh, I thought you might have used an artifact, but if you did this with your own hands... There really aren't many beings in this world that could give you even a slight pause. I have been around, but you are a monster among demons, and that is saying something," Angar said, but then laughed. "Though, it is still hard to believe!"

"And why is that?" Bane asked, but Agnar just gave him a knowing look.

"Because you are human. Humans are not even close to the power of a demon, especially a demon of my age. You should be able to sense my aura, but I know you look at me like some child. You should have run for your life at my sight! Being the demon I am, I would have given you a few minutes head start to make it more fun, but now I think I need a few days head start for myself!"
