Chapter 50: Finally, Answers.
(Tesslia’s POV)
Karlena and Risa stayed home for a week, as they had to make sure that I was actually safe here. Now, the estate was beyond safe.
Apart from Seehia, new maids protect me. That is, they’re very powerful, and there are ten of them in total. I feel as safe as I can possibly be!
Once it was determined that the estate was safe, my wives bid me farewell. Not that they were dying, or anything like that. Just that they had let their work pile up and up.
As for Risa, she’ll be gone for an entire month, and Karlena will be gone for three months. I do feel somewhat bad. As it is technically my fault that they’re behind…
Seehia: “Now that you’re free, shouldn’t you want to go out and explore?” She said with a curious tone.
Tesslia: “Explore? Seehia, I am a major homebody. If I do not need to leave the estate, then I will stay here for years.” I reply with a laugh.
Seehia: “…”
Tesslia: “Why bring it up… do you want to go out?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.
Seehia: “Well… my girlfriend… I miss her a lot. I was planning to convince you to go meet Pama, who is my girlfriend.” She answered with a slightly sad tone.
Tesslia: “Oh, then go see her. With the rest of the maids, all of my needs should be met, even without you here.” I reply, lazily waving my hand.
Seehia: “Ah, thank you so much!” She said with a bow, quickly leaving.
I didn’t even know that she was in a relationship… and with Pama!? Oh, well. It’s not like I know her much, anyway. Now then, with my endless access to the internet… I shall get answers!

Everything was as I had thought… To be fair, I had been given enough context clues to put the pieces together. So I am not that surprised by what I learned of.
As I had expected, the vampires of this world, weren’t like those depicted in the stories in my old dimension. For instance, they were never a race that had to hide from the sun, or needed to be cautious around large bodies of water.
With no threats to them at all, it made sense that the vampires became the ruling class of this dimension, and the humans were left as pets or cattle for blood. As for males… it wasn’t something that the vampires did themselves.
Originally, this was a fantasy world, one without males. The female humans reproduced via conception magic. At least I know why there aren’t any males in this dimension…
Though it wasn’t fully unfair to the humans. Like a dog or cat, they did have some rights at the end of the day. Even Karlena had to allow her pets to be checked up on, to ensure that she wasn’t mistreating them.
Fern: “Lady Tesslia, would you like to eat dinner now?” She asked.
Tesslia: “Dinner? Sure.” I reply with a nod.
Even with them being treated well, I am still very happy about my current situation and position. As a free human, I have all the rights that a vampire does. For example, what happened a while back, where I was almost kidnapped…
Those women could only be charged with trespassing, as the charge for kidnapping a pet was just a small fine. Which was very annoying… And I didn’t count as a free human until after that necklace PC was placed on my neck.
Regardless, I was happy, and that is all that matters. A large steak was presented to me, and my happiness only got higher. Good lord… the food in this dimension is insanely good. I need those two to take me out on a dinner date sometime…
