Mini-Chapter 4: Of truth of meaning.

Messing with Fate was quite interesting; There were so many stories already playing out, lives being lived. And I couldn't help but marvel at it all, I couldn't help but be amazed by the whole thing.

When you're living inside a world, you don't notice that it's simply enormous; It is all gigantic, and you can't notice it because it would break you to do so. Thousands of living beings, each with their own stories, are all interwoven together and form a larger story; A grander story. The entire thing was made out of butterfly effects after butterfly effects, with nothing not affecting something else.

It was... strange. It was strange to see it all when I had been a part of my own world for so long. But now that I was seeing everything, now that I could understand the whole story, I felt comforted. It was nice to know that no one is ever useless, that no one is there for no reason; They all had their own role, whether that role was from the grandest of legends to the smallest movements of a beetle.

There was no end to the story, of course, but there was a story nonetheless. And I could change that story, I could write in it. I wasn't the author of that story, I knew that, but I was still able to read it, to 'change' it.

I wanted to tell them all, to tell everyone just how much they mattered; But I couldn't, I wouldn't. Knowing your purpose only gets rid of that purpose; Because one should never know how the story ends.

In a way, it was peaceful. I knew that everything had a purpose no matter how insignificant.

And it was all so beautiful. I almost couldn't bring myself to change it all... almost.
