Wei Ru and Wei su arrived at the new city, located around 4,700 li from the Qin clan city, it was an even larger and expansive city, it was absolutely not inferior to Flowing Cloud city in Southern Border.

After entering the city by showing the token, both saw commerce and trading, large amounts of voices and vast vitality in this city. 

Wei Ru remembered what the guard said outside the city proudly, "Humph, my Hai clan city is one of the best mortal cities in the entire western desert, we rank at least top 20, back a thousand years ago, we even had a Rank 6 immortal," Wei Ru had to fake his amazement, after all, he had not only seen an immortal, he had seen that immortal go from rank 4 to rank 6 within a day, although Blood Demon had many preparations to achieve that.

He had to use the caravan excuse. There wasn't much travelling and he was barely strong enough to be questioned why he was travelling. 

"Speaking of which, this house is a Rank 5 peak gu house, Hai clan is truly amazing." I revealed a look of astoundment although inwardly I was analyzing the internal make up of this since it's special ability could be a hindrance to me.

"Haha, this gu house, it was actually made by our Immortal ancestor when he settled down and created the Hai clan, he had really high luck and talent, there were even rumors that he inherited a Rank 8 incomplete inheritance." He looked at Wei Ru while saying this, although they could be dismissed as rumors, it was a fact that it helped the Hai clan become a regional overlord of the mortal world. He was trying to see through Wei Ru and ascertain what he was actually thinking. 

After some hours it was time to end the celebration, Hai Zu had also given Wei Ru 6,000 PES while announcing it to the city as being generous to talents. To this, although Wei Ru thanked a lot, internally he was scoffing, "It's no secret that you are trying to hire me, showing this not only shows the wealth of the city and his generosity, it also shows his fondness of talents. The Rank 5 mid demonic path looked around, "this is your entire army," *Spit, "even an ant colony could do better."

At once, the city lord entered into rage, not just because of the spit, but also the disregard for face. "Elders attack," he himself set an example and started attacking, Wei Ru also followed through, this was an obvious victory for the Hai clan, it would also give him more reputation in the Righteous path. 

The attacks landed on the demon, primarily fire and wind attacks, they helped each other and became a considerable force. 

The demon stared at the attack and let it hit him. "That's all?" a thin white light shone on his hand and he shot it down, it nearly cut the city perfectly down a line.

The Hai leaders were shocked. "This demon is so strong, why haven't I heard his name?" That was the question in everybody's mind. 

Suddenly, the gu house in the city center rumbled, Wei Ru gazed, it was the same gu house he was in before. 

It started rapidly changing shape, turning into a sword, this was it's special ability as well as the only time it would be shown, the gu house collapsed. The sword shone with copper luster and started to accelerate towards the demon. It had the power of Rank 5 Peak, only Immortals could survive it in Wei Ru's opinion. 

The demon, looked before turning his gaze around, "Just a peak rank 5 attack, this city can be taken, I have to do this quickly too. Otherwise something unforeseen might happen.

He readied his killer move again and pointed it towards the Hai clan leaders and me, right as he was about to shoot, the sword shot at breakneck speed, it had reached Half Immortal class in terms of speed alone, Wei Ru's and the others's eyes shrunk, it pierced the demonic gu master right in the chest and blew away half of his heart and his entire right side. 

The demon looked stunned before laughing, "not bad, it's a pity that a long time had passed, the attack fell in power, otherwise I might have died." 

He then started to rapidly increase his aura, from Rank 5 mid to upper, then peak, to Rank 6, an Immortal. 

"You all should be considered lucky, you all will help me earn quite a lot of Immortal Essence Stones."

He waved his hand, "I am a space path, by the way," the city rapidly started vanishing, turning into sand, all the valuables and people also vanished.

The Hai clan leaders were still shook from the rank 6 aura, seeing the city vanishing their eyes were bloodshot and they coughed up blood in anger, they too vanished. 

Wei Ru, saw the situation, and rapidly flew into the warehouse that contained many gu of the Hai clan, it was next to the former gu house. He released his rank 4 aura and the aura of all of his rank 3 gu worms and managed to refine most of the rank 1 gu worms, he disregared the rest and focused on only movement path gu worms, in this life and death situation, he had managed to use many hundreds of rank 1 movement gu and his original movement gu to rapidly fly away, it was peak Rank 4 speed. 

The demonic Immortal ignored him, after the entire city was consumed, he rapidly fled away too, although with a smile unlike Wei Ru. 

Wei Ru flew for minutes before realizing something, his eyes also became bloodshot and he gritted his teeth, "Wei Su, ..., I had left him in the city to attend the party," in extreme anger, he fainted.

Wei Su was like his family, he had left it in the inn since it looked a bit sick. He was thinking of getting gu worms after the banquet ended to heal Wei Su. It was a grave mistake.
