Not a Grimoire

Dear diary,

The sleeping people are awake.

We can see them from beyond the walls. Goodman said I should be more careful when I go on my walks because now that they're awake, more weird things are gonna happen.

School was okay. We got a new class called defining your ego. It's mostly meditation and activities that's supposed to help us find ourselves. Whatever that means. It's pretty chill. Birch is a much nicer teacher than Mrs. Wrinkles.

Also I've finally saved up enough money to buy Gina that cake I promised her. I'm planning on buying it tomorrow. I was thinking red velvet or vanilla shortcake.

Don't worry I'll leave you a slice.
