Apparently the Butcher recommended them to the council. yes them. The new teacher does not have a gender... because they're a tree person. I don't understand exactly but they're the personification of a tree. not an Elf. There is a massive difference between the two, even though Birch looks like a typical fantasy elf...

Surprisingly Mrs. Wrinkles is not fired. she's been promoted to headmaster.

Poppy is devastated and Bobby lost 50 bits. They're both really down right now. Another surprise is the really ominous looking cloud covering the moon.

When you look at it from a certain angle it kinda looks like an eye looking down on us all.

Theodore is not a fan of that cloud.
