NOVEL FROG Finishing Off
I don't know how many of those gangsters there were in this facility, but so far we have taken six of them down and the remaining ones are in the last hall, shooting indiscriminately. Saeko kept her distance from me, lurking around with her gun in one hand and her Katana in the other; I ordered her to do so; her arm is still bleeding and she was in no condition to engage in a shootout.
Lucy had previously moved from her position in order to assist Saya's side behind the cashiers; her shooting hadn't stopped just like the gangsters but I reckon the latter is running out of ammo, Lucy must have taken Shizuka or Saya's ammo since she has already spent more than what I gave her.
"There are three of them left in the last section, Brand!" I heard Saya yell to me from the other side of the mall.
"Shut up bitch! Hey Jin! Go over to that side!" The bastard didn't cut his tongue short and I assume ordered someone within his bunch.
Tired of this confrontation I decided to risk it all and ran up to the last section of the market, throwing myself on the ground and shooting whilst laying on my side. A single eye lined up with the barrel; I caught that two of them were focused on Saya and Lucy from the other end, but on my end, there was just one geezer pointing his gun at me.

He fired at me and failed, mostly due to my position awkward position; it was difficult for him to hit me, but it was easy for me to lock him up.

I shot him twice and he fell, to the ground. However, I didn't stop with just two and also went for his pals with the remaining bullets I had in the magazine... the next one of them stood up from his clutching position, a mistake... he received some of either Saya or Lucy's shots... falling down like a piece of junk.
The last guy looked at me with poison, "DAMNED BRAT!"
He's the one that knows nothing but throwing slurs.

He fired his gun towards me, standing up just like his stupid friends and receiving two shots to his back from Lucy which made him fall forward... the moment he fell, the shots ceased.
We had taken all of them down.
"Y-You bastards..." He panted and prepared to aim back at me, but Saeko and I were already upon them, she shot the other two while I kicked his gun away, making sure to plant a nice and sweet kick on his face, bursting a few of his teeth off.
"EVERYONE INSIDE, NOW!!" I shouted, now that the mall is cleared they don't need to keep engaging the incoming zombies.
"WE CAN'T CLOSE THE GATES, THEY'RE JAMMED!" I heard Rei shouting and saw the vague light coming from the entrance. Seeing that the doors couldn't be closed, all of them just ran inside as the zombies began making their way in, having to go through the piles of corpses left in their wake.
"They must close through some sort of electronic controller, forget it just come inside!"
Everyone entered the now quiet supermarket but Lucy was still on guard in case we had missed any of them, just like my purple-haired girl.
"Saeko-chan!" Shizuka was the first to notice her bleeding arm
"Shizuka, I counting on you to help this stubborn girl" I materialised some bandages and gave them to her in order to help her patch up Saeko, hearing my words the latter giggled as if what she did was anything commendable, she almost got herself killed.
"I'll look for the control panels, come with me and cover me, Rei" Lucy stated, reloading her gun Rei followed behind her, however... I pulled her wrist, she was covered in blood.
"Are you okay, Rei? you shouted earlier..." With a frown I inspected all over her, looking for any bite marks. After seeing she was okay I did the same to Takashi and Higuchi, this girl... for some reason, she frowned at me when I did that.
"Shizuka-san managed to take the shot before the zombie bit me... you don't need to worry about me, Brand" It might be my imagination but I sensed some scorn in her voice after she finished and tailed Lucy.
"You guys?"
"We're good, but there are more zombies outside, we killed more than fifteen..." Both of them were panting and tired, having fought all the way, covered in blood... so much for cleaning their clothes yesterday.
After reloading my magazine I started to shoot at the incoming zombies, not bothering about noise until a few minutes later Lucy and Rei seemed to have found the switches and restarted them, the lights went on and flickered as she tested every switch, dissipating the darkness and the gates in the front began to close, however... there were zombies in the way.
"Kyoko-chan, help me... we need to take the bullet out".
"UGH!"
I gulped slightly and ignored my girlfriends' pained groans while Shizuka and Kyoko did their thing. I want to blame her for being reckless but I can't.
"Takashi and Higuchi, come... we have to push those zombies away or the gates won't close properly".
They nodded at me albeit reluctantly, as long as we close those gates, they will be able to rest.
Takashi started beating the crap out of the incoming zombies, Higuchi moved the corpses away from the gate's way while I shot some rushing ones as well... I managed to come out of the shop to do what I had in mind.
Reaching the motorbikes, I saw that there were five... only two of them were in the perfect state while the others... left a lot to be desired. I stored all of them anyway, perhaps we can get them fixed and find a use for them... compared to cars they'd be more convenient to move around.
Before the gates were completely shut we entered back in and sighed in relief... at least for now we were safe, but the commotion must have called a lot of zombies, they soon started banging on the doors with increased momentum, we likely won't be able to come out through the main door.
I hope this place has a back door.
