NOVEL FROG The Inquiry
After a while i calmed down and stopped crying.
He was holding me even after i stopped the sobbing so i very softly said
"You can leave me now"
He did't listen, i said the same thing again but a little louder this time
"You Can Leave Me Now"
He still did't listen now he was getting on my nerves. I shouted this time.
"YOU CAN LEAVE ME NOW"
This time he listened, he distance himself from me and embarrassingly said
"sorry"
I said "It's okay and thank you for saving me from the ehh situation" I said it bowing my head.
He smiled at me and said
"I have some questions for you"
"First tell me your name."
"Name?" i said dazed
"Yes your name" he said
I was now thinking what to do either to tell him i don't have a name or take a pseudonym as now i am in a girl's body, cant't use my old name now can I.
After pondering a little bit i said
"My name is Iris"
"You don't have a last name?"He asked.
"No" I replied
"Where are your parents?,and where do you live"
I really did't know what to answer to that question.I have to tell the truth, He is a policeman maybe he can help me.
"I don't have any parents, I am a orphan,to tell you the truth i don't remember anything before 20 days and for where I live it is a back alley in the front of a restaurant called The dragon's hut"
"Huh!"the police man said.
Policeman POV
When i asked her about her home and parents the answer shocked me and a silly voice leaked out
"Huh!"
My face got a little red to do things like in front of a little girl.What would become of me.
What do I do, If this continues the hospital would discharge after the treatment and she would have to go back there and maybe she would experience something like that once again. All I can do is to ask her if she wants to live with me until i found her some foster parents or a good orphanage
"Your bill has been paid by the police for now and maybe you will be discharged in a day or two,Do you have somewhere to live another than that alley"
"No"She said.
"Then I have a proposal for you, Do you want to live with me until I find a orphanage or any foster parents"
Iris POV
He asked me to live with him
After thinking about it for a while i looked at his appearance,He looks like a middle aged man,with medium hairs settled at one side,He also looked like he could be married and have children. After seeing all this I said
"If you,your wife and children are okay with then it's okay with me too"
When i said about his wife and children he showed a pained expression but quickly hid it
"Okay as soon as you are discharged you can come to my home, For now i have some duties to I am going and be nice to the doctors"
He stood up smiled at me and left after that the doctor came and started checking me i was still reluctant but i can't do anything about it but i still get goosebumps whenever he touches me
