Awakened Earth!!

chapter 95: Yeeted across the Multiverse

Suddenly, a book appeared in Tanya’s hand, and her gun was now strapped onto her back. Of course, Sophie had performed complex spatial manipulation to move the gun from her hands onto her back. It wasn’t simple teleportation; it involved rearranging space itself, which is far more difficult. Making the book appear in front of her was something I could easily do, but rearranging space to move both the book and the gun was much harder.

I smiled at Tanya. “You’re free to do whatever you want with the knowledge I just gave you. I have no intention of forcing anyone to believe in me. I’m a firm advocate of free will, unlike this jerk here who thinks everyone should worship him.”

I glanced back at Being X. “As I mentioned, he’s just a knockoff of the Christian God. It looks like Lucifer tried to turn one of God’s clones against him but messed up, and now the clone has gone rogue and developed a life of its own. Its abilities seem limited due to its intended role.”

Well, looks like my time is up. Not too surprising—a pillar of light descends on me, and now I’m traveling through the Void again. Sophie and Alex appear next to me, and Alex says, "You just love leaving us behind, don’t you? I’m stuck traveling through the Void while you get to chill in Sophie’s realm."

I reply, "I don’t think you get to complain. One of us actually has to travel across the Void for us to experience different universe. I wonder which one we’ll end up in next."

“Oh, this universe looks familiar. Well, not really. Let’s use clairvoyance... Ah, Earth. Oh, this is the Demon Slayer Earth, huh? Honestly, I hated the ending of that story. I mean, I get it, at the beginning you wanted to cure Nezuko, but by the time they had developed the cure, she had already regained everything. She could talk again, she wasn’t burned by the sun, and she had all her demon powers. Couldn’t you at least have made it so she kept her demon regeneration or something? She didn’t need to fully turn back into a regular human—maybe a human with demon regeneration and strength. By that point, she had gotten rid of all the downsides of being a demon, so was there really a need to turn her back?”

“Well, whatever. A quick scan with my clairvoyance... Hmm, I can’t find the Demon Slayer HQ. That makes sense. The demon blood arts in this world would let them finded long ago, so they probably have something shielding it from detection. If I remember correctly, Muzan had to send out a bazillion eyes to nail down its location. So, they must be using magic to shield it. I didn’t think the magic would be strong enough to block my clairvoyance, though. I doubt it could block Heimdall either. It’d take something pretty strong to block him, since he can even see across multiple universes if he really wanted to.”

“Well, if we can’t find their HQ directly, we’ll just have to look for Demon Slayers themselves… Ah, there we are. After watching for a while, I think I’ve found the location. Just as I suspected, this is one of their many decoy houses. Gotta hand it to them—they didn’t just build one headquarters. They built several and constantly switch between them.”

“I’m heading over. Sophie, teleport me to the location I was observing.” Yes, I had done what the demons had done. To find their location, I simply spied on the Demon Slayers to figure out where it was. Though this may just be another decoy facility, it seems to be where all those Hashira meet up.

I appear at the mansion. Of course, no one has arrived yet, but I can sense that all of the Hashira are heading this way, presumably for one of their regular meetings. Well, before they show up, let me inspect the mansion. Oh good, they’ve placed it on the ley lines, which makes my job easier. This courtyard should be a good spot.

I casually snap my fingers, making a golden fountain appear. Yes, I have multiple of these. I didn’t just create one—I made several, knowing I’d be traveling across the Multiverse and would need more than one. So, I made extras. I even made multiple signs with translation magic, so anyone can read them. Every 10 minutes, they send out a telepathic message to anyone nearby, directly sending instructions into their head. Even if someone is blind and can’t read, they’ll still receive the instructions.

I also place some books floating in the air. They should float here for a few hours. I’ll leave it up to them what they decide to do.

It’s time. A pillar of light descends upon me as I disappear. I suspect the Hashira will evolve into sages, their desire to remain human in this world made stronger by the presence of demons. In fact, I highly doubt they’ll ever become majin. And what happens if a demon use the fountain? Well, it’s not really designed for other races—it’s specifically for humans. Besides, it’s impossible to evolve any further from the fountain’s power.

The book explains it: the next evolution will be of the soul and body, so there’s no shortcut to take. Any shortcut would only lead to disastrous consequences.

Man, this is so fucking boring—traveling through the Void again. Which universe is it this time? Oh, it's the Fairy Tail universe. Actually, not a bad choice. Ah, fuck you—seriously? I get yanked out of it right away, like the stupid DC Universe. I really wanted to knock some sense into the Justice League for their no-killing policy. I mean, I get it: you're heroes, and you don’t want to kill people, that's fine. But the "no killing under any circumstances" rule? The Avengers understood that sometimes you've got to kill the bad guys. They avoid it and use it as a last resort, but they understand that it's sometimes necessary.
