Witcher's Atelier

Chapter 5 How to make delicious tea eggs

Victor quickly turned off the fire and stopped the water from boiling. The shining light in the cauldron gradually dimmed, allowing Vesemir to clearly see the wonderful scene in the cauldron.

The outer circle was clear water, but there was a ball of blue liquid in the central vortex, which relied on some unknown force to make it clearly separated from the clear water in the outer circle.

Victor picked up three test tubes and scooped the blue liquid into the test tubes with a ladle. After filling, the vortex in the center dissipated, and only clear water was left in the cauldron. The feces-yellow and pungent unknown substance seemed to have never existed.

He handed over a potion, and his ordinary face had a smile on his face.

Vesemir solemnly took the blue test tube, shook it, and the liquid was clear without any impurities, smelled of a faint fruity fragrance, tasted sweet and smooth, and gave a slight warmth in the stomach, as well as a refreshing feeling.

From any angle, it is a perfect version that only existed in imagination in the past and has never been achieved in reality. The efficacy of the energy soup is not only significantly improved, but also the lack of impurities means that it is not easy to deteriorate. Although the shelf life has not been tested yet, it is definitely not necessary to stay up all night every day to make it.

Thinking of this, Vesemir looked at the boy with a complicated expression. As he said before, this is really incredible alchemy.

Then the magical boy fainted.

The next day, at the insistence of Victor who woke up, life did not change, and training was carried out as usual. It was just that at noon, he was full of confidence and demonstrated incredible alchemy from a different perspective again.

This time in front of the fireplace in the hall, he spread firewood to support a small pot, lit the fire to boil water, sprinkled in flour, spices, milk, sugar, eggs, and then stirred the whole pot of batter water. After just a few minutes, the colorful light reappeared again. Vesemir saw some unknown power holding the food called "Caramel Cream Pancake" floating to the surface, which became their lunch.

Picking up the pancake and putting it into his mouth, Victor sighed with satisfaction. "...So, the more unfamiliar the blending is, the longer it takes and the more mental energy it consumes. The reason why I fainted yesterday was because I was not familiar with the recipe. After I make it a few more times, even if the speed is not as fast as the pancakes, it will significantly shorten the time."

"Can anyone in your world use this... incredible alchemy?" Vesemir tentatively put the pancake into his mouth and found that it tasted like it was just fried in a frying pan.

"Uh... no... this alchemy requires talent, even in my original world, it is an extremely rare talent.

I learned it from my grandmother.

She said: 'If you can do it, you can do it, if you can't, you can't do it, you will know it after trying.

Come... throw this tea and egg into the pot and stir it, just like this gurgle, crackle, crackle... and then a flash of light will turn into tea eggs...'

Hey! Don't look at me with that suspicious look, I swear I remember it word for word.

Anyway, from the day I blended the tea eggs, according to her, I was an apprentice alchemist. A few days later, she unilaterally announced that she would retire from the kitchen and I would take over as the chef..."

...

After swallowing the last piece of pancake, the sweetness of caramel lingered on my teeth and cheeks. "I want to try... Can I do it..." Vesemir took out the last tube of special energy soup from his arms and stared at the still clear and precipitated liquid: "This kind of idealistic alchemy has great potential. At least I have never seen such high-quality energy soup in hundreds of years.

Negating impurities, impurities will disappear; imagining the finished product, the finished product will be born.

I have to say, kid, you have overturned all the alchemy common sense I know."

Victor shrugged indifferently. "No problem, let's try it together tonight. I also want to know if people in this world can learn incredible alchemy."

"Child, I can try it privately. And you, you have to start learning traditional alchemy, even if this craft seems inefficient and low-quality to you."

"... To cover up the incredible alchemy?"

"Yes. The emperor will start a war to control you. Promise me that you will not reveal this technology to anyone else before you can protect yourself."

"Understood, Uncle Vesemir, I will learn traditional alchemy. But I should not be as good as you think. After all, I am just an apprentice. I can't even make a slightly more difficult blend."

"I believe you will not be just an apprentice forever."

...

As we all know, "Incredible Alchemy" contains three realms. The first realm is "Faith in Alchemy Wish", put in the right materials, and visualize the details of the finished product carefully during the mixing process. When the wish power is enough, the door of miracles will open. Basically, almost all modern alchemists are at this level.

The second realm is a talent that only the world's favorites have, which we call "Listening to the Voice of All Things". This ability can listen to the voices of all materials, and it will tell you its hidden effects and void characteristics.

So from the second realm onwards, alchemists have the power to face gods and demons directly. In the past five hundred years, there are only three second-level alchemists known to us, including the Fire Sage.

As for the third realm, it only exists in the oral narration of the Fire Sage. Only the grandmother who taught him alchemy is in this realm. He named it "I think it's okay", which is pronounced as "I think" in ancient Elven language.

Meaning, as long as his grandmother thinks it's okay, then it's really okay...

The most famous alchemy work in this realm is the famous "Endless Herb Bag" by the Fire Sage. It is said that when it was made, his grandmother thought that the capacity of the ordinary herb bag stirred by a piece of cloth was too small. If a few more pieces of cloth were added to the cauldron, it should be able to hold more.

So the "Endless Herb Bag" that claims that the void is finite and my bag is infinite was born.

Another month passed, and the time entered June, and the early summer sun was shining.

After finishing the familiarity of the bull position, Victor continued to practice the top position. As for reading books, he finished reading history and began to compare geography.

His progress in learning traditional alchemy is also obvious. He has a steady hand, a cautious heart, and his soul core is deeply baptized by scientific methods. No matter how rigorous traditional alchemy is, it lacks theoretical basis compared to chemistry experiments.

On the night when Vesemir regretfully admitted that he could not use the incredible alchemy, after seeing Victor's talent gradually realized, he began to teach him the secret formula of the witcher.

"I hope that one day, you can break the curse of the Trial of Grass. This is the last wish of an old man in his twilight years." Vesemir was quite emotional when he said this, but Victor judged from the knowledge of an alchemist apprentice that if nothing unexpected happened, this old guy would have no problem living for another hundred years.

...

Time did not stop, and Victor could stand the loneliness.

After practicing the four basic stances of swordsmanship, he continued to practice three attacking movements - chopping, stabbing, and dragging. The main opponent at this stage was the armored wooden man.

Thanks to the solid foundation of the basic stance, he quickly got the hang of the attacking movements. But then Vesemir went down to feed the moves, because defense, counterattacks and close-range skills all require two people to experience through the sword body, and they are only effective if they are remembered firmly with the body in actual combat.

It can only be said that the witcher master is worthy of his name as a master. When Victor finally progressed from "being beaten with fancy moves" to no fancy moves, only "being beaten with fancy moves", several months had passed.

Children of this age are in the growth stage. With the support of high-intensity exercise and premium energy soup, Victor's figure suddenly rose to 5 feet 7 inches, and he lost his childish appearance and grew into a thin and strong teenager.

Unfortunately, his appearance did not improve accordingly and remained mediocre.
