Who Says all Saints Need to be Good?

Chapter 228: Last two days

“Hmm, I should get Leila something for our 27th birthday,” Aurianna blurted out, her eyes lighting up with the idea.

“Ah yes, today is July 23th,” Eva chimed in, as if she'd just remembered.

“So, what would you give Leila?” Eva asked, her curiosity piqued.

“I want to make her favorite food—rice and saucy steak. Luckily, I have some food ingredients from Neil. I want to make it before I go to the Domain Prison,” Aurianna said, a determined smile on her face.

“The kitchen is right here, Aurianna!” Eva gestured as she teleported to the kitchen and Aurianna came with her.

“Now then, I’ll start! Heh, she’s gonna be so happy once she tastes this food!” Aurianna’s excitement bubbled as she brought out the ingredients from her space ring.

After some time, Aurianna grinned proudly, holding up the finished product in a lunch box. “Done!”

“This lunch box is cuter than expected,” she said, admiring her work as she has neatly arranged a large portion of food in uf.

“Heh, as I always say I only have the best of the best,” Eva winked.

Aurianna then teleported to the ship’s living room following Jugi's mana and stood behind him.

Jugi sitting on the sofa looked up to see her. “Ehh, Aurianna? I thought you were in your room.”

“Jugi, can you anchor the ship? I’ll be gone for about twelve hours,” Aurianna stated, her tone casual.

“Half a day?!” Jugi gasped, eyes wide in disbelief.

“Oh, you're going to that other place.” Kiana blurted out, understanding immediately.

“Yes. I have two more days left, so I better use them before it resets,” Aurianna said.

“Is that a present?” Kiana asked, pointing to the lunch box Aurianna held with a neatly wrapped bow upon it.

“Yes, for Leila’s birthday,” Aurianna confirmed with a nod.

“Oh, so you’ll finally be 12 years old, huh?” Boara teased, raising an eyebrow.

Aurianna rolled her eyes and smirked. “Since you bear my mark, you should know that my true age is 27 years old.”

Boara froze. “Wait—what?!”

“You’re 12 but... your bone structure and your aura…” Boara stammered, clearly confused.

“I’ll explain that another time,” Aurianna waved it off with a smile, clearly enjoying the bewilderment.

“Hehe, shows that you’re totes not a genius after all!” Avriel chuckled from the corner.

“Avriel, she’s still a genius. I haven’t heard of a 27-year-old reaching the Grand Human stage at her age,” Jugi defended.

“I’m still confused because of your body age, though,” Jugi admitted, scratching his head.

“Oh, my body is definitely 12 years old this year, but my mind... let’s just say I’ve got something like time magic at my disposal,” Aurianna explained.

“Still a child then,” Avriel teased again, a sly grin on her face.

“Hey! What do you mean by that?!” Aurianna protested, her eyes narrowing.

“Well, we’re all hundreds of thousands of years older than you. I totes don’t even understand why you’re the master,” Avriel shrugged, feigning innocence.

“Jade would honestly make a better leader,” Avriel added, nonchalantly.

“Oh, would he?” Aurianna’s voice dripped with sarcasm as she crossed her arms.

“Avriel, I’m gonna have to agree with Aurianna on this one,” Jugi jumped in. “Jade isn’t the type of person to think logically. He’d just blow everything up when things don’t go his way.”

“Since when?” Jade’s voice boomed from behind them, as he glared at Jugi, the book he was reading covering half of his face.

“If I recount the many instances, you'd probably kill me...” Jugi muttered under his breath with a nervous chuckle. “Remember the time you leveled that whole town just because they refused to give you directions?”

Jade crossed his arms, his tone flat. “They were trying to trick me. Besides, that was ages ago. I’ve... grown.”

Aurianna snickered, unable to hold back her laughter. “Exactly! And that’s why you’re not the best candidate to be the leader, Jade but rather it's me!”

Jade shot her a long, steady gaze, but there was no anger in his eyes. Just a bland look. “You say that, but at least my methods get results.”

Aurianna waved them off, grinning. “Well, whatever. I’m off!”

“Ehh, I’m not going with you?” Kiana raised an eyebrow.

“You’d probably die. You can’t stay there for too long. However, Boara and Hadina are coming with me,” Aurianna explained casually, adjusting her lunch box before she disappeared.

Jade's gaze followed her. “Hmm... where did she even go? I can't sense her and Hadina's presence,” he wondered.

“She has some alternate space where she trains,” Boara replied casually eating some fried fish on a different couch.

“I see,” Jade nodded, clearly still puzzled.

As soon as Aurianna appeared in the domain prison, inside of Neil’s home. A figure rushed towards her with a tight hug. “Aurianna! Happy birthday!!” Leila’s voice rang out, filled with excitement.

“Happy birthday to you too, Leila!!” Aurianna beamed, returning the hug.

“Aww, my sweet cute sister!!” Leila cooed, squeezing her tightly.

Aurianna pulled away with a grin. “Here’s a new pair of heels for you,” Leila said, presenting a sleek, elegant pair of black high shoes.

“Waahhh, so pretty!!!!” Aurianna exclaimed, her eyes sparkling.

“And here’s your favorite food, all packed in this cute lunch box!” Aurianna added, holding up the box she’d prepared earlier and handing it over to Leila. So they quickly exchanged their gifts.

“Awww, thank you!!” Leila responded, her face glowing with joy.

Just then, Neil, who had been standing nearby, cleared his throat awkwardly. Both girls turned toward him.

“Oh, Neil! Forgot you were there,” they said in unison, giggling.

“I see...” Neil sighed dramatically, his shoulders slumping.

“He's sulking,” Aurianna whispered to Leila noticing Neil's expression.

“Well, anyway,” Neil began, “Elizabeth and the Hex Weaver asked me to give this to you when your birthday came around,” he said, pulling out two large packages and handing one to Leila and the other to Aurianna.

Aurianna and Leila gasped in unison while opening the package “Ooh, dresses!!”

Neil nodded, smiling at their excitement. “Yeah, they said something about you wearing the same suit every time you come here, so they made clothes for you—but with really strong fabric.”

“Look, they gave us five different dresses!” Aurianna said, marveling at the finely stitched outfits.

“Hey, how come Leila gets a jumpsuit?! I want one too!” Aurianna pouted, eyeing that dress Leila was holding up.

Leila giggled. “You can have mine if you want.”

Aurianna shook her head. “It’s yours, so it’s fine. And I doubt the breast area would fit me,” she added with a sigh.

Leila laughed even harder. “If you wore your fake boobs, maybe—”

“Speak no more. Do not embarrass me, sister!” Aurianna cut her off, shaking her head and biting her lips in pain.
