Obedience. As the strongest beings to ever exist, Gods and Primordials sought obedience. Naturally, no king accepts rebellion with an open heart. Similarly, Nyx despised the thought of Night struggling all alone. It was true that Night fought with his friends, but so far, every endeavor he faced and every adversity he overcame, he was alone. It wasn't a choice exactly, it was simply just the fact that it was far too dangerous for anyone else to fight alongside him. Especially due to the nature of his skills.

Seeing Night, someone Nyx cherished and treasured, not being treated with the respect he deserved was stupid. It enraged her. Nyx's personality wasn't exactly soft, but it was simply just that she was as such to Night. The reason she was feared by nearly everyone was because of her power.

She wasn't just the Primordial Goddess of the Night, Nyx was also the ruler of the unknown and the mysterious. Everything hidden away from everyone. Nightmares, hidden desires, thoughts, secrets. She was the literal embodiment of the unknown, which was why even Zeus, the ruler of Olympus, feared her.

While it's true that the Primordial's source of power was common, their actual powers weren't as such. Chaos, the progenitor, wasn't just their parent and an abode. It was also their source of power, which is what put them in a completely different league. This was the same reason that Divine and Forbidden beings were moving in the shadows to stop Zeus.

Nyx blamed herself. It was like giving a toy to a child and taking it away. It was way worse than giving the toy to the child. Night was forced to go through hardships that no player normally could have, of course, the rewards he received were obviously worth it. However, he couldn't use it as he saw fit. He had to be discrete, especially around Churches or temples or any building that worshiped the Divine beings.

She put him on a throne with rebels as subordinates. Any inexperienced ruler would struggle to counter such a situation. Especially when the power of the throne was stripped away from them.

"....." The violent atmosphere finally calmed down, Nyx looked absolutely indifferent as if whatever happened was something she could do forever. She smiled at her sleeping prince and whispered into his ears, "It's time…"

Night's eyes shot open as he stood up. He was now back in the cave, a red portal was in front of him. However, he ignored that and looked at what was in his hand, for some reason he had a ring. It was funny looking, it was a crescent moon and the background was a starry night. However, the background seemed as if it was alive, the stars would move constantly.

"Nyx….." Night muttered as he looked at the ring. It was slightly unfortunate. He really enjoyed talking to her.

'I'm sorry little one...for everything you've been through because of me. We shall get our chance to talk…..I promise…'

"I'll hold you to it…" Night smiled as he looked at the portal, he knew what to expect, but unfortunately, it was way worse than he imagined. Night had hoped for a simple exit where he could calmly go through all the notifications, unfortunately, he was instantly under the eyes of multiple powerful beings.

Unfortunately, due to him being unconscious, Night couldn't see that his ascension had a lot to do with an earthquake sent all over the world of Genesis. Not to mention, he wasn't even aware of the fact that he was now an Epic class holder. Of course, at the moment, no one was aware of that.

"Uh….." Night stuttered as he looked at the elders of the Assassins den forming a barrier around him. It wasn't to protect the surroundings from him, but it was a barrier that contained any words exchanged.

"You truly are something else….." Taka muttered as he looked at Night. Shade and Noctis rushed to their Lord's side. They stayed quiet, not because of the situation but because of the change in Night. At this point, it wasn't anything new.

"What's all this for….?" Night asked as he looked around. There was no mistaking it. At that moment, every single elder and grand elder was present. He was slightly defensive. What if he now possessed something that everyone there would kill to get? It was possible, after all, he did clear the trials without any return crystal.

"You've cleared the sacred….trials…?" one of the grand elders there asked. Just to be sure that they weren't overreacting.

"Well I'm here aren't I? I wouldn't be here if I hadn't cleared it," Night declared as he pointed to Sketch. Who looked around nervously and told everyone present that Night took no return crystal.

"....So you managed to clear it within two trials….." Taka asked as he recalled their talk.

"Well….the first time I had to leave because of some emergency…it wasn't that I failed the trials…" Night replied casually, making everyone there only fear his potential. If what he said was true, then Night cleared the Phantom Trials, in a single try. Of course, he had no reason to lie, especially because he had already achieved something nobody other than Voss Howler did.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A palace made of pure marble, it was white and gold. Although, there seemed to be a hidden material used to construct the entire structure. It was heavenly, perhaps literally as well. Far outside the palace, past many and many different gardens and other beautiful buildings, was a gate, outside which stood three nervous figures.
"Did you hear that?"
"Hear? I could literally feel it….."
"What was that??!"
"I don't know but….The Almighty one is sure to be furious….just the very thought scares me…eeeekk!"
Of course, The Almighty one was other than Zeus, and the three nervous figures were the Horai(Horae), the guardians of the gates of Olympus. While the three sisters chattered away in fear. Somewhere deep inside the ethereal palace was a giant of a being who was on the floor. After a sudden earthquake-like phenomenon, Zeus, the ruler of the heavens found himself on his knees.
He was in his usual attire, a white chiton with the lightning symbol popping out from both the shoulders. His white hair that resembled the purest form of lightning, and most of all, his temper that could very well be used to forge a weapon. As his knuckles touched the floor, he clenched his jaws and closed his eyes. The sound of thunder reverberated throughout the room. Wisps of lightning were flying out of his body as he tried to deduce who brought him to his knees.
Fortunate for the citizens of Olympus and the rest of the world, there wasn't anybody present in the room. If they were then the embarrassment only would've further enraged him. It would've been more than enough for him to destroy the entire palace that his own son modified.
He quickly got up to his feet and dusted his chiton. Just then he heard the footsteps of a human, it wasn't just any human being, it was Artemis in the body of some random mage. Thankfully, she hadn't noticed anything, although, even if she did, there was no way she would ever mention it.
"Father," Artemis bowed down in the body of the man. It wasn't that she shapeshifted, instead, she was currently possessing the body of this individual.
"Artemis…..For how much longer do you want this man's body? Didn't you already have your fun? Wasn't summoning thousands of monsters just to destroy a filthy village enough?" Zeus asked as he tried to play off what had just happened.
"Ah that was nothing, the next one is going to be much better haha. Anyway, what was that just now? I felt something. Something…..scary…..something like….Father…." She said and instantly regretted. A strong wind knocked her up straight and made her lose her breath for a second.
"Watch what you speak," Zeus growled. His pride was immeasurable, and to him, there was absolutely no one superior or even similar to him.. At least, no one alive….
