Trapped in Paradise

Chapter 82

Chapter 82: A Group of Seductive Vixens!

“Boring! This isn’t the college life I wanted!”

Zhang Shaoqing complained at the desk in class, “Every day it’s just classes and gaming in the dorm. Why isn’t any girl chasing after me? Why are there no club activities? Why isn’t anyone inviting me to parties?”

In the dorm, he was the only one who participated in a club, hoping it would enrich his university life, only to find out everyone was off doing their own thing, with no activities whatsoever.

“Damn it! I heard the club that invited Wen Yang to a party got reported! Seven or eight people were caught, and now all club activities have to be submitted for approval in advance!”

“Which idiot reported them! Ugh!”

Ning Chu sat to the side, propping her chin on one hand, shooting him a glare.

The guy himself is right here! Cursing in front of him, huh?!

Zhang Shaoqing found his college life a bit dull, but Ning Chu’s was full of excitement.

Day after day, he nervously followed Wen Yang everywhere, almost glued to him at this point. He’d gone from being a tail to nearly a shadow. He was wary of any girl, reluctant to let Wen Yang talk to them, scared of triggering some plot again.

He was already girly enough; his once proud manhood was now a little bean. He couldn’t afford another mishap.

If another plot unfolded, he’d just have to selfishly let Wen Yang offer himself up, occasionally complying with the plot to delay his transformation into a girl… As for what to do after Wen Yang loses his virginity? He’d just have to hightail it away in the middle of the night; what else could he do?

Fortunately, things had been relatively calm these past few days, and no plots had triggered.

“Good thing tomorrow is the weekend…” Zhang Shaoqing hooked his arm over Wang Jie’s shoulder, still wearing his trademark villainous smirk, “How about we go out and see the world tonight? That bar was fun, right?”

Wang Jie was tempted but still shook his head, “I have plans tonight for an event, how about tomorrow?”

“Then forget it, I need to head home tomorrow.”

Every weekend, no matter how unwilling he was, Zhang Shaoqing had to obediently return home.

Even though he was a rich second-generation kid, his controlled life wasn’t all that pleasant.

But compared to Wen Yang…

Ning Chu glanced over at Wen Yang. For the past few days, he’d shown no signs of rejection towards her, but as an adult male, he certainly wouldn’t relish long-term control.

All she had to do was wait for Wen Yang to rebel again, and that fragile relationship that could possibly turn into love would cease to exist!

“Class dismissed!”

As the teacher picked up his briefcase and left, the students cheered and got up.

Then Han Jingye walked in through the front door, “Quiet down! I need to occupy a bit of your time!”

“Shh~”

Ning Chu glanced at Han Jingye. Over this period, he’d formed a fairly good impression of him, so his initial prejudice and dislike had faded.

“First up is the living allowance from the school. Most of the applications have been approved, and the allowance will be directly credited to your meal cards.”

“The sports meeting starts in November, and the New Year’s Eve party is already selecting performances. I encourage students to actively sign up with the class monitor. This semester, everyone must participate in at least one collective activity or competition.”

Students clearly weren’t pleased with this announcement, and murmurs of dissatisfaction filled the classroom.

“Quiet! Quiet!”

Han Jingye shouted twice, finally managing to quell the students’ discontent but ignoring it entirely, moving on to explain the sports meeting’s procedures and precautions.

“Are you going to sign up for the sprints?” Ning Chu supported his chin with another hand, looking at Wen Yang, “What should I sign up for? Maybe I should just skip it?”

“Just sign up for the women’s clothing cheerleading squad?”

Zhang Shaoqing rolled his eyes at him, “Aren’t you worried about yourself? Be careful not to get in trouble.”

“Wen Yang, you should sign up for the sprints too!”

“Oh? Getting scared now?” Ning Chu didn’t miss any opportunity for mockery. “You were the one leading the charge to scold the counselor before~ saying you’d never participate in these activities~”

“Am I scared?” Zhang Shaoqing insisted stubbornly, with a face as thick as ever, “I’m just giving the counselor a way out!”

Even with dyed black hair, he was still that thick-skinned hoodlum.

Ning Chu wasn’t particularly worried about Han Jingye’s “must” participation. If he really went a whole semester without joining any activities, Han Jingye probably wouldn’t say anything, maybe just leaving a bad impression for later.

Han Jingye occupied ten minutes of class time, as the lamentations of students echoed in the room.

Once the counselor left, Ning Chu prepared to leave, but when he turned around, he found four or five girls rushing over, surrounding Wen Yang.

Wang Jie and Zhang Shaoqing gasped in shock and hurriedly dodged to the side, leaving Ning Chu frozen in place, trapped alongside Wen Yang in a sea of girls.

“Class monitor! Sign me up for the 800-meter run!”

“I’ll sign up for long jump and high jump!”

“Yangyang! Are there any restrictions for the New Year’s program? Can you explain it to me separately?”

“Let’s add each other as friends! I have some questions too!”

Good heavens! So they were all just using the excuse of signing up for the New Year’s or activities to flirt with Wen Yang!

Even wanting a private explanation! What do you think you’re doing?!

Wen Yang found himself surrounded for the first time. Fortunately, in the tiered classroom, the desks and chairs were fixed, and the group of girls was blocked by the long table, preventing them from jumping directly at him.

“Hold on, one at a time…”

He was never good at handling overly enthusiastic girls and instinctively threw a pleading glance toward Ning Chu.

Ning Chu scanned his surroundings, his expression darkening.

These girls! They all want him dead!

If even one of them was related to the plot, his little bean might entirely disappear!

Bang!

A sudden slap on the table silenced the girls in an instant.

Ning Chu endured the burning pain in his palm and stood up with an imposing air, “Spread out! What are you all doing crowding here? Go find me online to sign up during lunch!”

“Who are you?!”

Sadly, his imposing demeanor hardly struck fear in the others.

“Right, don’t crowd here! I haven’t even gotten my sign-up form yet, so I’ll sign up online at noon.” Fortunately, Wen Yang reacted in time.

He cast a grateful glance at Ning Chu, not realizing that his usually introverted and timid friend also had this strong side, but sadly, that face was still too youthful to carry any authority.

Like a fierce little kitten, all claws out but only looking cute.

Suddenly, Ning Chu grabbed his arm and led the way outside the classroom, “Move aside, move aside! We’re going to get the sign-up form from the counselor!”

“Step aside, step aside.” Wen Yang echoed him, “I’m going to get the sign-up form.”

Finally leaving the classroom, escaping that crowd of girls, Ning Chu let out a long breath.

He felt grateful for his decision; had he hesitated, Wen Yang would’ve probably been completely overwhelmed by those girls.

There shouldn’t have been any plots triggered, right?

“Can’t you be a bit more assertive?” Ning Chu glared back at Wen Yang, shaking off his arm, “Once you see pretty girls, you can’t bear to be tough, huh?”

“It’s just… they’re all girls, and I’m a guy; it wouldn’t be right to be harsh with them.”

“I’m a guy too! Why can’t I be tough with them?! Just curse them out!” Ning Chu ranted angrily, “A bunch of seductive vixens! Can’t move their legs when they see a guy!”

Wen Yang felt like Ning Chu was a jealousy pot about to overflow.
