Trapped in Paradise

Chapter 277

Chapter 277: It’s All Lily’s Fault!

When Ning Chu woke up, there seemed to still be a sweet taste lingering in her mouth.

Her mind was a bit foggy as she stared blankly at the ceiling, but suddenly, last night’s scenes jumped into her head.

Her face quickly heated up and turned red. Shyly, she pulled up the blanket to hide half her face, her watery eyes glancing at Wen Yang, who was still fast asleep beside her.

Goodness! They had clearly just let it all out yesterday! And here she was, all riled up again this morning!

Ning Chu angrily shot a glare at the bulging blanket, then curled up melancholically.

It’s all Lily’s fault…

If it hadn’t been for Lily shoving a bunch of toys at her, she wouldn’t have been such a mess last night!

Thankfully, Wen Yang didn’t intend to use the realistic toys, but just those few detonators had her completely overwhelmed—too exhausted to resist at all.

That intense sense of pleasure surged back to her brain, making her feel a little tingly inside.

No, no! She couldn’t fall into the shape of a succubus!

She used to be a man! How could she let mere pleasure defeat her!

Ning Chu suddenly threw off the blanket and sat up.

She had clearly said it would be the last time, yet last night she still overindulged.

Turns out, words are more useful than skills, but enduring for just over ten minutes was a bit much; her jaw was sore, and her face was a mess.

The more she thought about it, the angrier she got. She slapped the high bulging blanket.

“Darn it!”

Wen Yang trembled at her slap and immediately woke up, but when he opened his eyes, he saw Ning Chu’s furious expression, and all his drowsiness melted away.

He awkwardly asked, “What’s wrong? You look like a puffed-up pufferfish…”

“What do you think?!”

Clearly, Ning Chu had enjoyed herself last night! Why was she suddenly turning on him?

“Next time I won’t push down your throat…”

“Shut up!”

Ning Chu, exasperated, cut him off, her blush deepening.

“Oh.” With a guilty look, Wen Yang lowered his head, mumbling, “Why so shy…”

“I want breakfast!”

“Isn’t it right there?”

“Don’t you dare say that!”

Wen Yang hurriedly jumped out of bed and rushed to the bathroom. “I’ll go buy you something after I use the toilet.”

Ning Chu leaned back against the bed, contemplating how Wen Yang’s flavor was indeed much better than most breakfasts… Supposedly rich in protein and high in nutrition…

The image of that little cat girl in the book who loved milk popped into her mind, and she shook her head vigorously.

Why was her head filled with such yellow trash now!

“What do you want for breakfast?”

“Just something casual; after I eat, I want to type.”

“Okay, I’ll go to work after breakfast, and later I’ll transfer the money I make to you.”

Ning Chu planned to stay in the rental apartment all day writing her novel… While Wen Yang went to work, she could also write a bit of royal text to satisfy herself.

Without Wen Yang around, she could secretly use a few toys without worrying about breaking them… And she wouldn’t feel too shy being alone.

Ah, ah, ah~ She was going to turn into a succubus!

She hit her forehead in annoyance, trying to suppress those weird thoughts and got out of bed, swaying her tail as she sat down at the computer.

Footsteps sounded behind her, and her tail was gently stroked. Ning Chu immediately slumped her waist and turned with an annoyed glare, softly scolding, “How many times have I told you, don’t touch my tail~”

“Okay, okay~ I won’t touch it~”

Wen Yang nodded dismissively, trying to suppress a smile.

He probably didn’t forget who kept stuffing their tail into his hands last night.

“I’m going out to buy food now.”

“Go ahead.”

Wen Yang left the room, and his footsteps gradually faded in the hallway.

Ning Chu opened her chatting software, found Lily’s profile, and fired off a barrage of messages: “Lily! Hurry up and take back your toys! I don’t want them!”

“I have a man in my rental apartment, okay! What if he sees them!”

“You need to come over today and take them away!”

If Lily didn’t take them away, every time it would be Wen Yang playing with the toys!

And if she couldn’t hold back and secretly played with them in the rental apartment, wouldn’t she just fall and be no different from Lily?!

Though it was still early, Lily was already awake, almost instantaneously replying.

“Were they fun?”

“Fun my foot!”

“Wen Yang’s is bigger; you should get used to the little one first~”

“I wouldn’t dare touch that!”

“Does that mean you’ve played with the others?”

Ning Chu paused in her typing, only able to send a facepalm emoji.

Even through text, she could sense Lily’s excitement: “Quick, tell me all the details of last night’s battle!”

“Wait! You didn’t resist and end up eating Wen Yang, did you?”

Clearly, it was Wen Yang who resisted not eating her.

Ning Chu felt hopeless against this bold girl; online, she had explosive combat power, but offline, she was an introverted and quiet iceberg goddess.

A typical keyboard warrior situation.

“I can’t be bothered to argue with you. Come to my rental apartment and take your stuff away when you have time.”

“I’ll come over with Xinya~ Remember to fetch me!”

Ning Chu paused. If Lily and Yan Xinya were coming over now, wouldn’t she be unable to write her novel?

She still needed to prepare some snacks for them.

She clicked on Wen Yang’s profile: “Wen Yang, buy some snacks and drinks when you’re out; Lily and Xinya are coming to play.”

“Okay.”

Seizing the moment while there was no one at home, Ning Chu immediately dove into her writing, trying to stock up on manuscripts to avoid running out of time to write her autobiography later during class.

Checking her author dashboard for updated followers, she suddenly noticed a notification.

“Is it going to be recommended soon…”

For web novels, the first recommendation often determines a book’s fate.

Even though she didn’t have high hopes for her novel’s performance, Ning Chu couldn’t help but feel especially anxious.

Actually, she’d been checking her follower count ten times a day; every new follower thrilled her, while losing one made her gloomy.

At night, her dreams weren’t about countless boys, but about suddenly gaining hundreds of followers overnight…

“Forget it, my goal is just to maintain attendance.”

Ning Chu mumbled to herself but still couldn’t resist glancing at her followers.

She felt even more heartbroken compared to losing two last night… the pain was unbearable… even her writing mood was gone.

She closed the document and decided to watch some anime instead.

It wasn’t long before Wen Yang returned with her breakfast.

“I bought some chips, squid, and cola,” Wen Yang placed the items on the table and asked, “Why are they suddenly coming over?”

“I told Lily to take her toys back.”

“Why take them? They’re pretty fun.”

Yeah, you think they’re fun!

Just thinking about her embarrassing performance in front of Wen Yang made Ning Chu glare back in exasperation.

“You became a total wreck last night.”

“No way it was that exaggerated! How could you see anything with the lights off?!”

“Really.” Wen Yang nodded vigorously.

“I’m not listening! Time to eat!”
