The key to this strategy was Lauren. Emerald daggers flew around her and shredded the bat’s wings. Unlike a thug or an assassin, she had a pure offensive class with flying daggers.
‘I’ll ask them about their classes later on,’ Zyrus noted as he used the last bits of his mana. Everything happened so fast that he didn’t have the time to hold a meeting with important players.

“…Okay,” Shi kun retreated after a bit of hesitation. Kyle and Lauren had left the moment Zyrus told them to.
The four of them knew that they could still fight if they wanted to. But was it worth it to go all out at a time like this?
It might not be the honorable thing to do, but the answer was no. Everyone had to fend for themselves in this hellish place. Just because they were strong didn’t mean that they had to risk their life for others.
