The Villains I Taught Became Heroes

Chapter 75

“Instructor! Hello!”

“How have you been!?”

As soon as we arrived at the Emerald Resort, familiar faces appeared in the lobby.

They were the students from Class A. While I was accepting their greetings, a familiar voice was heard from behind.

“Master!”

It was Sowol.

Everyone gasped at the sight of her wearing a short lavender cheongsam.

It was that fitting.

“Wow~. You look great!”

“Hehe, right? It’s a new item from the East!”

The outfit Sowol was wearing was a cheongsam, one of the items available in the game.

It had the passive skill Enchantment, allowing her to gain extra favor when experiencing romance and events, and was a special item only available during the Eastern Trading event.

Was this the power of the Eastern Trading Company? Dressed in her cheongsam, she looked up at me with her characteristic confident expression.

“What do you think?”

“As I said before, it suits you well.”

“Um… How about now?”

Was that not enough?

With a slightly unsatisfied expression, Sowol asked me again.

It seemed she intended to repeat until she got the answer she wanted. If that’s the case…

“You look pretty. The outfit really suits you and enhances your charm.”

“Hehehe! I like it!”

Now she seemed satisfied.

Watching Sowol shrug and make her way among the students, I let out a sigh.

It was then that I noticed a woman entering the resort entrance.

“Oh, hello. M-Master.”

It was Lena.

Unlike the other students who were all dressed up, Lena’s outfit looked much the same as usual.

Wearing the shadow robe I had given her, she approached me with a shy “Ehehe.”

“Have you been well?”

“Yeah. Have you been doing well too?”

“Yes, yes! Hehe. Um, after the schedule at Emerald Beach, can I go to the cabin?”

“Should be fine?”

I had nothing special to do anyway.

Lena smiled brightly and nodded to the others before joining them.

One by one, the students began to gather.

Only after all the kids had arrived did I head straight to the resort counter.

“Welcome! Are you from Academy Class A, Year 1?”

“Yes, that’s right.”

“Please sign here. Your rooms are ready.”

“One of them is a triple room?”

“Yes.”

Two double rooms, and one triple room for me. I took the key and headed back to where the students were.

Since everyone hadn’t seen each other in a while, it was quite noisy.

Though they were adults, they had only just become adults, so they were still like kids.

I clapped my hands lightly to catch their attention.

“Alright. Figure out the room arrangements with your close friends. Just remember, one room is a triple room.”

I held out the tray with the keys.

They came up one by one to take their keys, and the last one was taken by Sowol.

She chose the triple room.

“Who are you going in with?”

“With Lumina and Charlotte.”

Lumina and Charlotte? When did they become friends?

Doesn’t really matter, I guess.

“Then for now, head to your rooms and relax. If you want to go to the beach, feel free.”

“Okay~!”

“Alright. Dismissed. See you later.”

I could see the students moving in a rush.

As I watched their backs, I headed to my own room.

“Ohhh…”

It was the same room I saw in the game, but seeing it in reality was no joke.

It was so luxurious and nice, it would put any decent hotel to shame.

I wondered if it was alright to stay in such a room.

Knock, knock.

“Yes.”

“Teacher! Teacher!”

The door opened.

It was Arisha, Sowol, and Lena. They all seemed rather lightly dressed, indicating they were planning to head to the beach.

“We’re going to the beach, come with us!”

“Going for a swim?”

“Yep! Just wandering around! They say Emerald Beach has stunning views! Why don’t you come with us?”

“Hmm…”

“…Don’t want to?”

“No, it’s not that I don’t want to, but since we’re at the beach, how about the students enjoy themselves?”

I’m just here as a chaperone.

The stars of this event are the students.

Is there really a need for me to join? I smiled and declined, but Arisha shook her head vigorously.

“It’s more fun with you, Teacher!”

“Exactly! Master, wouldn’t it be better if you were with us?”

“Y-Yeah. It feels safer with you around…”

“Really? If you insist that much, I guess I have no choice.”

I stood up from my seat and went outside with them.

*

It was a delightful day.

The ocean was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the drinks were okay.

But the best part was that Lee Hyun was right beside me.

‘It would have been better if it were just the two of us.’

Unfortunately, Arisha and Lena were clinging to him.

If they hadn’t been around, I could have implemented my plan to make a move on Lee Hyun, but here we are.

‘Arisha and Lena… They’re not easy opponents.’

Even a lion gives its all when catching a rabbit.

Moreover, the opponents are lionesses targeting the same prey as me. How could I relax?

‘Opportunities are tomorrow.’

I planned to swim in the resort’s pool tomorrow.

Lee Hyun would probably wander around to maintain order, so I’ll try to seduce him with my swimsuit when he arrives at the pool.

Sowol’s gaze shifted to her bag. Inside was the swimsuit she had shopped for with Layla for tomorrow.

Even Layla, with her keen eye, had praised it, so surely Lee Hyun would like it too.

“Um… Saint?”

“Oh! What is it?”

Imagining what kind of reaction Lee Hyun would have upon seeing her in a swimsuit, Sowol tilted her head at Lumina’s call.

Seeing her, Lumina and Charlotte exchanged glances, deciding not to wait before asking.

“Do you like Instructor Lee Hyun?”

“W-Who said I liked Master?!”

“Anyone can tell just by looking…”

Lumina felt incredulous at Sowol’s reaction.

Isn’t it obvious to anyone?

It’s more strange if you can’t notice when she’s throwing hearts so openly.

“Ugh. My oversight…”

Sowol trembled with embarrassment.

Realizing how she had failed to hide her feelings, Charlotte shook her head in disbelief.

“By the way, Instructor Lee Hyun is quite popular.”

“Eh? What do you mean?”

“Oh my? Don’t you know? Instructor Lee Hyun is really popular at the academy.”

What does that even mean?

Of course, I figured he would be somewhat popular.

In the Eastern Trading Company, there wasn’t a single person who disliked him.

But if Lumina and Charlotte are going so far as to mention it, there has to be something more.

“It was before the break. Apparently, a third-year, Reior Schmitter, publicly confessed to Instructor Lee Hyun, asking him to date her with the intention of marriage.”

Reior Schmitter was someone even Sowol knew.

A good family, a nice personality, and most importantly, in a way that matched Instructor Lee Hyun’s taste, an exceptional figure.

Seeing that she confessed to Lee Hyun, Sowol was slightly shocked, placing her hand on her chest.

“S-So what happened?”

“Instructor Lee Hyun just smiled and thanked her.”

“So… Did he accept?!”

“No. He said he was very grateful but politely declined.”

“Why?”

“No one knows that. And even before her, I heard that one instructor was very eager to go on a date with Instructor Lee Hyun but had never even gotten a chance.”

“That’s right. It was Instructor Ariel, wasn’t it?”

She was the instructor for Class B.

Though she looked a bit rough, she was quite beautiful.

She definitely had a remarkable figure too.

What could it mean if he didn’t accept her date offer?

‘…Could it be that he’s waiting for me to confess?’

A little, just a little, but I started to entertain a hopeful notion.

What if Master is waiting for me?

What if he’s always ready to confess whenever I do?

My heart began to race.

I felt that I couldn’t just stay like this any longer. As my heart raced, Sowol stood up.

“Ah? Where are you going?”

“I’m just going to get some fresh air.”

My face was hot.

As Sowol said that with a smile, Lumina and Charlotte tried to get up too.

Stopping them, Sowol stepped outside alone and spotted Lee Hyun sipping coffee near the lobby.

“Excuse me. Are you here alone? I came alone too… Would it be alright if we enjoyed this together?”

A woman approached Lee Hyun and began to speak. Seeing him gently decline with a smile, I felt my heart flutter.

“Master!”

“Ah? Why are you out here?”

He looked different from the smile he showed the woman just moments ago.

I could tell.

That was a smile reserved for those who could enter the line he had drawn.

Sowol sat down in front of him with a kind smile.

Unlike the woman who had been denied earlier, Lee Hyun allowed her to approach.

Feeling good that he accepted, Sowol smiled brighter and playfully poked his hand.

“But Master, I heard you got a confession from Reior.”

“Heh. Where did you hear that?”

He chuckled, ruffling Sowol’s hair casually as he spoke.

“What could this old man possibly have that anyone would like?”

“Master, you’re someone everyone could fall for!”

At her words, Lee Hyun shook his head.

“Just don’t fall for me, okay? You’ll definitely regret it.”
