The Married Life Of Immortals

Chapter 119: Tricked Again

'Yeah, thanks a lot, asshole. Can you tell me what the Demon King is?'

'He is a pure demon, a race of demons that is as strong as they come. They are the closest thing to a god in terms of power. I have no idea why he is not the ruler of all the demons, or the world. Maybe he was the weakest among them, or has some kind of deformity that restricts him.'

'Thanks for the info. It helps a little,' Bane grumbled, and then rolled out of the way of a massive foot that landed where his head was, and the ground shattered.

'Don't get cocky, or you will die, Bane. Start taking this more seriously!'

Bane rolled his eyes, and then jumped to his feet. "Is this all you have, Demon King? I expected a bigger show," Bane said, but the Demon King just smiled, and the ground under Bane's feet crumbled, but he jumped out of the way. "Don't be a sneaky bitch!"

"I was waiting for you to show how serious you were. Now I will," Baalaniur grinned, and the ground rumbled.

From the ground, a dozen giant stone demons crawled up and glared down at Bane.

"Let's see how you do against them," the Demon King laughed, and then frowned at what Bane had in his hand. "Why do you have those?"

Without saying a word, Bane threw the demon hearts into the air, and demonic energy formed around them until they were featureless black copies of Bane covered in black flames.

"This is not a fair fight anymore, but if you are going to be a dick, so will I," Bane growled, and the twelve clones moved.

Three went after the stone demons, while the others flew at the Demon King.

"I was not going to make it easy for you!" Baalaniur roared and slashed out, and the first clone was cut in half, and fell to the ground in two pieces.

The remaining eleven charged at the Demon King and swarmed him, but the Demon King's arms and legs moved so fast, and a moment later, there was only one left, and he was stabbed in the chest and exploded into black fire.

"That was fun, but you have a lot of spunk, boy," Baalaniur growled, but then his eyes shot wide, and his hands went to his neck.

"This was too easy, and I didn't have to get naked. What a shame," Bane replied as he pulled the knife made from demonic energy out of the Demon King's neck, and blood began pouring out.

The Demon King collapsed to the ground, and the whole arena went silent.

"Is this a joke?" Baalaniur gurgled, and Bane shook his head.

"I didn't want to make a big deal out of it. I just wanted to kick your ass, and go," Bane shrugged, and then a hand reached up and grabbed Bane's leg.

"You won't get away with this," Baalaniur hissed, and a black fire engulfed Bane.

"Ahh. Oh, it burns so bad. Save me, Bobby," Bane said in a flat tone while waving his hands jokingly in the air until the flames went out. "Are you done? I didn't expect you to use the last of your energy on something so useless."

Baalaniur was silent as he looked up at Bane, and then his body turned to dust.

"You have killed our great Demon King. You are the new Demon King," the crowd said as one, and then bowed their heads, and went down to one knee.

"That is not happening. You can't just replace your king like that, but whatever. I pick that dude in the cage, that is your new king, and the female beside him is the queen," Bane said, and turned to leave, but a portal opened in front of him. "Fuck yes! A ride home!"

Without even thinking, Bane dove through it, but only the open air of the demon world awaited him. Bane turned, and with all his might, kicked off the air back to the portal. Unfortunately, Nia came flying out, colliding with him, but Bane kicked again. Once again, another female came flying out of the portal to collide with Bane and Nia as the portal closed.

"What is this bull shit?!" Bane growled, as him, Nia, and Ex-Demon Queen Elexis started to plummet towards the clouds below.

"BANE!" Nia screamed and clung tighter, but her weight only pulled them down faster.

"Shut up!" Bane yelled, and then focused on his demonic energy, and the black flames appeared and surrounded them.

"You should at least defile me before we hit the ground!" Elexis cried in joy as she tried to lift her now torn dress.

"Shut up both of you!" Bane yelled and used the flames to increase their speed.

"We are not going to make it!" Nia yelled as she squeezed her eyes shut and they fell through the clouds.

"Just keep quiet. I can do this," Bane grunted, and the flames flared up slowing their descent.

"We are going to be burned alive! Look, I am not wearing panties!" Elexis cheered as her dress tore completely away.

"Stop! I am trying to focus," Bane growled, but they were still falling too fast, and there was a massive and very active volcano below them.

"Oh, gods, oh gods, oh gods," Nia whimpered as the ground grew closer and closer.

"SHUT UP!" Bane roared, and the black flames turned red, and their descent slowed until they came to a stop and hovered in the air. "See. I told you to shut up."

"It's a miracle," Nia sighed, and Elexis was pouting.

"If we would have hit the ground, then you could have been as rough with my corpse as you wanted," Elexis sighed and looked over the edge of the black flames.

"How are you doing this?" Nia asked, and Bane shrugged.

"This is just demonic energy, the same stuff you are both made out of, and the rest of the world. I can control it, but more importantly, why did the two of you follow me?"

"Because we are obsessed with you," the two said in unison.

"Great," Bane replied and then looked at the volcano. "Maybe I should just throw you both in and be done with you. The two of you have no idea the danger you are putting me in!"

"I could use a hot bath," Elexis purred, ignoring his comment.

"I meant the molten lava. You know what, never mind. We are going to land," Bane groaned and started to lower his black flames to a spot that didn't look too hot.

"Wait. That looks like a nest," Nia called, pointing at the area they were going to land that was a ring of stones filled with sticks.

"What would nest here?" Bane asked.

"A Demon Phoenix. The type of monster that would tear the flesh from your bones while burning you! Even if that happened, I would still let you use my ravaged body how you wish," Elexis replied, and Nia smacked her face.

"Why would a creature live next to a volcano anyway?" Bane asked as the flames touched the ground, and the second their feet hit the ground, the area was set ablaze and a loud bird cry could be heard.

"They are very territorial. They are also made mostly of fire," Elexis explained, and the flames went out as a shadow passed over the area.

"What is that thing?!" Nia cried in fear, hiding behind Bane.
