The Lecherous Prince and His Playmate [BL]

Chapter 66

Xing Guang felt nervous when she saw all the eyes on her. She looked up at her father and squeezed his hand.

Changling looked down at her with a smile, whispering, “Don’t worry.”

She nodded her head reluctantly, then looked at the man with the most dazzling robe.

Changling led her to the table the emperor was sitting at and said, “Ah-Xing, this is your grandfather, Emperor Wu Yong and this is his wife, Empress Kim.”

Bowing to them, she said, “Pleased to meet you.”

Wu Yong stood up and looked at her. Kneeling down in front of her, he said, “Welcome to the palace. Your father called you Ah-Xing but Youxian called you Youxia?”

She chuckled, nodding her head as she explained, “Mn, don’t worry about it Your Majesty. Youxia is just fine.”

Raising a brow, he asked, “Then I take it only your parents can call you Ah-Xing?”

She shook her head. “No, isn’t it because you don’t know me?”

Chushan walked over and tapped Wu Yong on the shoulder. As he stood up, she looked at Xing Guang, saying, “And I’m your grandmother. That man over there is my husband and your grandfather too, Grandpa Yifan.”

Looking over at Yifan, she smiled and bowed her head slightly. She looked at the empress, then asked, “Is the empress my grandmother too?”

Changling shook his head, “The empress is the mother of the kingdom, so you’ll call her mother empress.”

Changling glanced over at her, asking, “Or do you want her to call you grandma?”

Clenching her hands under the table, she forced a smile. “Nonsense Ah-Ling. Ba Lam calls me grandmother so Youxia can call me that too.”

Changling scoffed inwardly. He went on introducing her to all his siblings and they were surprised by her well-mannered behaviour.

Taking her over to his wives, Xing Guang stared at the two women and saw that although one woman looked happy to see her, there was an unfriendly feeling coming from her.

“Ah-Xing, this is my wife, Crown Princess Kim Haeun and my other wife, Consort Kwon Ae Cha. This is your brother Tian Cao and sister Tian Shi I told you about,” He introduced.

Haeun looked at the girl, before she didn’t have the chance to look at her right, but now that she was in a calm state, she could see that the child was older than her son, so there was going to be political problems.

Xing Guang bowed to them. “Hello.”

“Well? Aren’t you happy to meet us?” Haeun asked.

Xing Guang stared at the rude person before her and faked a smile. “I’ve run out of words to say.”

She scoffed, “Looks like you aren’t well thought by that father of yours.”

Nodding her head, she agreed. “That is true. My fathers focussed on teaching me how to fight.” She turned to Changling and took his hand, saying, “But my other daddy said he’ll teach me well.”

“That I will do,” Changling said proudly. He turned to Tian Cao and saw that he seemed to be upset. Smiling at his son, he said, “Ah-Cao, I’ll put you in charge of taking care of your sister. She may be older than you, but it is still a man’s responsibility to take care of a woman.”

Tian Cao was surprised. He looked at Xing Guang and saw that she was staring at him curiously.

Seeing that she had his attention, she said, “When we’re done here, can you come with me to meet someone?”

“Meet someone?” He asked and looked at their father.

Changling was also confused. Who did she know that she wanted to take Tian Cao to?

She squeezed Changling’s hand, looking at him for approval.

He nodded his head. “To meet someone? Who?”

Staring at him, she said, “I told you before, didn’t I?”

“What did you tell me?” Changling asked as he tried to remember their conversations.

She looked at her brother, saying, “To meet my daddy. He’s sad right now, but I think if you meet him, he’ll be happy.”

The adults were astonished by her words.

“How?” Tian Cao asked.

She tilted her head to the side. Smiling, she placed a finger on her lips, saying, “You’ll see when we get there.”

Ae Cha walked up to her and knelt down. Waving at her, she said, “We meet again.”

Xing Guang took a few steps back.

Ae Cha was surprised and looked at her husband.

He placed his hand on her back, saying, “There’s no need to be scared.”

Xing Guang looked up at him, confused. Sucking it up, she looked at Ae Cha and nodded her head. “Mn, did you cook the food?”

Ae Cha clapped her hands together happily, “You remembered? Yes, I did. I tried to ask your father what you like to eat, but he didn’t know and your daddy is refusing to speak to any of us, so I made all of Tian Cao’s favourite.”

She stood up and Xing Guang saw her belly was round. Nodding her head, she said, “Snails, rats, fish, snakes and pigs.”

Ae Cha smiled nervously, “What was that?”

“You asked what I like. Snails, rats, snakes, fish and pig,” she repeated, then looked at the baby in Haeun’s arms.

Haeun sneered. She never liked Ae Cha from the get go and it looked like Xing Guang could see through her act. “Can you cook snakes and rats, Ae Cha? I think they’ll suit you well.”

Ae Cha looked at Haeun, narrowing her eyes, she said, “Oh please sister, it’s my first time hearing it. I’ll have to ask brother Youxian to give me some pointers.”

“Well, good luck with that,” she scoffed and looked back at Xing Guang, saying, “I don’t bite. Do you want to hold her?”

Xing Guang nodded her head and went over. She took Tian Shi and felt that she was a bit heavy. Looking at Haeun, she said, “My daddy said I should call you mommy.”

She raised a brow. “Youxian said that?”

She nodded her head, “Mn, I don’t have a mommy. I only have daddy’s.”

Looking at her husband, she said, “I don’t mind. Having two daddies seems too much and, according to customs, all my husband’s children should call me mother.”

Xing Guang looked at her, saying, “Two daddies? No, I have three.”
