The Lecherous Prince and His Playmate [BL]

Chapter 52

Three years later…

Changling was sitting in the court going through some official business when the doors opened, followed by rushed footsteps. He was already annoyed because he had work piled up to his neck, all because his father wanted to rest.

He was ready to scold whoever it was, but when he looked up; he saw two boys rushing towards him with smiles on their faces.

“Uncle!” the older one yelled.

“Papa~” The little one squealed.

Changling chuckled. The annoyance disappeared, and he calmed down. Getting up, he quickly made his way down the steps and sat down at the bottom, catching the two boys in his arms.

Placing a kiss on both of their cheeks, he then looked ahead and saw the ladies-in-waiting who took care of them rush in.

“Did you two cause trouble again?” He asked the eldest one, who was a splitting image of his father Qinghe.

Rong Shen Qiu looked at his uncle and beamed. Nodding his head, he said, “The ladies in the palace walk so slow, it’s fun to have them run after me.”

Changling chuckled with a shake of his head. He looked at his son, who mirrored him but had his mother’s nose, and asked, “What about you? What crime did you commit?”

Hwang Tian Cao shrugged his shoulders and looked at his nurse. He then turned to his father and said, “I don’t want to go back to mommy.”

Changling raised a brow, “Why not? It’s almost time for lunch.”

Tian Cao shook his head. “She’s angry again.”

Changling sighed. Haeun had become terrible over the past few weeks. Changling had thought she was going crazy, but it was all because she was pregnant again.

Looking at his son, he said, “Mommy will be okay soon. She’s just sick and irritated.”

Tian Cao nodded his head.

Changling stood up and smacked their bums gently, saying, “Come boys, uncle’s hungry.”

Shen Qiu nodded with a smile but Tian Cao took his father’s hand saying, “You not uncle, you my papa.”

“Of course,” Changling answered, chuckling.

They arrived at the eating area and the children’s mother’s were already there. Changling looked at his wife and saw that her face was swollen and it made her look very unattractive.

Tian Cao went to his mother and so did Shen Qiu.

“Where’s dada?” Shen Qiu asked.

Mei Yuan looked at Changling for answers as she said, “Your father is out doing work. He’ll be back later, I suppose.”

Changling didn’t know what she was talking about. All he hoped was that his brother wasn’t running away to have an affair.

Sitting down, Changling looked at his wife and said, “Tian was complaining about you again. When will you control yourself?”

Haeun sighed. She looked at her son, who was eating his vegetables, saying, “I don’t know what’s going on with me. It’s as if everything he does annoys me.”

Changling just stared at him. He understood what she was saying, but that doesn’t mean he liked it. His mother was constantly pregnant and always irritated with them, but she made sure she apologised for her actions.

“Make sure it doesn’t happen again or this will be the last time you carry my children,” he said casually.

Haeun wanted to say something, but then looked at Mei Yuan, who was staring at her oddly. Although they were almost every day together, she could tell that Mei Yuan had a wall up and didn’t like her as much as she wanted her to.

“I’ll try my best, your highness,” she said.

Walking into the yard, Youxian heard a crash. He had just gotten back from work and now to hear a noise coming from the house. What could have possibly happened now?

Looking to his side at Wulin, he saw a smirk on his face. Nudging him with his elbow, he asked, “What is your child up to now?”

Wulin smirked and led the way. They came to Xing Quang’s room, which was a mess, and looked at the governess on the floor. She was unconscious and bleeding from her head.

Searching the room for their demon, they found her sitting on the indoor swing, staring at them with a broken bowl in her hand.

“What did you do?” Youxian questioned her.

Xing Guang stared at her father and shook her head, saying, “I didn’t do it.”

Wulin sighed as he looked at the governess on the floor. This year alone, she was the fifth governess they hired, but the demon in the room wasn’t easy to appease. Looking at her he said, “Xing Guang, what did I tell you about hurting others?”

“But dada, I didn’t do it,” she said.

“Then explain what’s going on here,” he said.

“Okay, fine, I did it, but only because she started it,” she said as she climbed off the swing and chucked the broken bowl on the floor.

Wulin looked at Youxian, who was examining the governess, saying, “I don’t think the agency will help us anymore. How about we send her to school?”

Youxian raised a brow as he looked at them, saying, “Aren’t you afraid she’ll harm the other children? We’ll be in trouble then.”

Wulin looked down at his daughter, asking, “Can’t you control that anger of yours?”

“But I’m not angry, dada,” she said, confused.

Wulin raised a brow then looked at Youxian, saying, “I think it’s time one of us trains her.”

Youxian nodded his head. “That may seem to be the case, but how will we do that when both of us are working?”

“I told you, you don’t need to work,” Wulin said.

Youxian frowned. “But I can’t leave you to provide for us for the rest of your life.”

“Stop being stubborn. She needs one of us to care for us. Everyone else is incompetent and you know I don’t want you out in the open. What if you get found out?” He asked.

“That goes for you too,” Youxian said with a frown.
