Supreme Origin: Time King

Chapter 36: XIV Ryn

Before Aryanna could see the changes in Elijah's body, he returned to normal.

Inside the dream, Elijah decided to take the opportunity and try to reach the second realm. In the entire week, Elijah was training in all his techniques and now he was finally trying to breakthrough.

He sit on the ground and entered in meditation as he absorbed the energy around him. The first thing he felt was warm energy spreading through his body, which made him feel a very comfortable sensation, then he made several hand symbols making the elemental energy circulate in a orderly way as he guided it to the transparent core inside him.

Suddenly, a strange feeling took over every corner of her body. What used to be a warm and soft energy turned into a hot and angry energy that flowed into him, leaving only pain.

His temperature rose, his skin was bright red and his body trembled violently.

As much as he wanted to scream, Elijah gritted his teeth and endured with all his strengths, because he knew that with how his body was, if he could not endure it, he would probably die. But then the pain multiplied several times.

"Ah!" Elijah couldn't bear the pain while he screamed.

At this moment, the image of a person appeared on his mind and for a reason he couldn't explain, he felt extreme hate and killing intent.

Then this person's voice resounded on his head.

"It already over, Ryn. Everyone else is gone, why are you still trying to get back? I am the winner!"

Hearing this voice, his suddenly eyes opened revealing intense fury as elemental energy burst out of him shaking the space surrounding him. 'Who is the owner of this voice? And why this disturbed my mentality and made me so angry?'

In his heart, a strong will to live grew within him which reduced his suffering, heat and pain.

Elijah could not see, but his hair had changed back to what it was before, light brown and his pupils which turned from gray to purple and then silver before they changed back to grey, but now they were brighter than ever before.

...

At this time, a few hours had passed and everyone had returned to the stadium. The headmaster had get up the stage and said.

"Now we'll announce the other three groups."

He took a list and began reading. "Fourth Group! Evelynne, Keith, Elijah and Salomon. Come to the first stage."

Three people get up from their seats and walked to the stage.

Seeing that Elijah did not appear, the headmaster asked. "Where is Elijah? If he does not arrive in five minutes, he will be considered disqualified."

"It looks like Elijah will..." Just as the director was about to

to disqualify Elijah, a voice surged from behind the crowd.

"Headmaster! wait."

Upon hearing his friend's voice, Zaid, who was on his seat, flirting with the girl beside him, he turned as his mouth curved upwards.

The crowd opened the way and a pale Elijah along with Aryanna walked toward the stage. Even with his messy hair and a pale face, he looked different with his light brown hair and did not even look like a cultivator as there was no energy emanating from him.

"Where did you run to? Was it fun?" The director asks Elijah while giving a frightening smile.

Elijah rubbed his head. "It's a long story. I just got out of bed."

Hearing this, Aryanna's face suddenly went deep red making all the men in the stadium give him a strange look.

Isaac looked at him with surprise to hear Elijah's response and nodded before talking again: "Okay Elijah, you don't need to share your intimacy with us. Just walk to the first stage."

Only at this moment, he realized what was happening as he tried to explain. "Wait! I didn't mean like, it's a mistake." Isaac just look to the side ignoring him.

Seeing that Aryanna was still blushing, what would negate any explanation he could give, he decided to let it go and get up the stage.

After Elijah was on the stage, Isaac continued. "For the first fight it will be Elijah vs Keith."

His opponent was a boy on the first realm.

"I know your strength is higher than mine, but I will not admit defeat." the simple clothed girl bit her lip.

Seeing the boy was not a threat for him, Elijah just waved his hand.

"Okay."

This simple wave of a hand had knocked the boy several meters away. just one wave of a hand, swift and clean because Elijah didn't want to waste time on a weak opponent.

The boy get up and walked off felling disappointed.

"Elijah wins!" The headmaster looked approvingly at him.

As he was here, he didn't forget to pay attention to Evelynne which was the strongest on the group after him.

"Evelynne vs Salomon!"

When he turned to see the two were already exchanging blows.

"Enchant: Lightning Body!" Salomon shouted as he moved like a lightning. he was so agile that he managed to dodge Evelynne many times.

Elijah was watching the fight and was slightly surprised as Salomon's strength was a lot more than what he expected. He had also trained on lightning magic and could use it to enchant his body, which meant that he now had the strength of a cultivator on the Divine Beginning realm.

"Although you have improved since the last tournament, you will still lose to me like the last time." Evelynne said as she as her body began to shine with a white light.

Her hands became faster and faster. Salomon was able to dodge at first, but as time passed several marks appeared on his body and seeing a breach, she hit Salomon in the chest with her palm with a huge wave of elemental energy, making his body fly straight into the wall.

"Evelynne wins!" The director announced the end of the fight when several healers were taking Salomon to the infirmary.

As for Aryanna, she did not even have to fight because her opponent gave up after watching the other fights.

After the end of today's tournament, Elijah had gone to dinner with Aryanna and his friends, but he could not stop thinking about the person he saw on his mind. He wasn't sure why, but felt something familiar coming from him and he also didn't know who was the one the voice had said, Ryn.
