Superman’s Saiyan little brother

Chapter 52: Good and Evil, Fusion and Separation

Indeed, Robert, unlike the others, could clearly distinguish between the monk Jin and the later, dark Jin through their aura.

What Robert didn't understand, though, was why the monk Jin, despite being a transformation of the same tiger talisman with identical strength and theoretically similar physical prowess, could overpower the dark Jin.

Wasn't it said that becoming dark made one stronger? The dark Jin was truly a disappointment to the dark side!

"I followed Varon's minions to Jin's mansion in secret before. The Jin who arrived before us was originally imprisoned; it was Ah Fu and his team who accidentally released him..." Jackie Chan scratched his head, speaking softly, "Does that mean he was never a match for the other Jin to begin with?"

"Do you really intend to fight them? Their strength is far greater than Ah Fu and his team, not to mention, their power and defense are on a completely different level from yours!"

As Jackie Chan spoke, he glanced between Robert and the two Jins. With Robert standing at 1.61 meters and the Jins nearly at 2.1 meters, the difference in height and physique was stark. Despite Robert's impressive skills just shown, Jackie Chan doubted Robert could stand against either Jin.

With a loud "Boom!", as Jackie Chan finished speaking, the dark Jin was thrown to the ground by the monk Jin, causing the ground to tremble. The monk Jin then firmly locked the dark Jin's body, preventing any chance of retaliation.

"Why?! You're just a fake, I am the emperor of the underworld, the true Jin, why can you defeat me?!" The dark Jin, previously defeated and imprisoned, could excuse that loss due to unpreparedness, but losing again was inconceivable and unacceptable.

"Because I understand my former self too well!" the monk Jin, holding down the dark Jin, shook his head and sighed softly, "I know how evil I was, the terrible things I did, and my approach to both life and combat. I can predict every punch you throw and how you will direct them at me..."

"But you, having reached the pinnacle of evil, have no understanding of the goodness in me influenced by Buddha. You know nothing of kindness and have forgotten your fear of hell..."

"Our only path forward is to study Buddhism together, to do good deeds. Only this way can we seize the opportunity given by Buddha and escape the threat of hell!"

"No! I refuse to accept this! It's all because of that damned stone! Without it, I wouldn't have become this, I wouldn't have lost!" The dark Jin fell silent for a moment before his body began to struggle violently.

"Amitabha, it's useless, you are no match for me. Only by converting to Buddhism can we both have a chance at forgiveness and liberation... Hmm?" The monk Jin began to chant a Buddhist scripture to calm the dark Jin, but at that moment, a glow emerged from the dark Jin's chest, the light of half a talisman. "Buzz!" The light from the dark Jin's chest flew out, colliding with the monk Jin's chest, merging the two half-pieces of the tiger talisman seamlessly.

Simultaneously, a white light emitted from the talisman, enveloping both Jins. Their forms quickly drew closer and merged, soon becoming one being again.

"They merged again? Hmm? But wasn't the monk Jin stronger before? Why does the aura seem so malevolent after merging?" Robert, sensing the fierce aura emanating from Jin, murmured in hesitation.

"Hehe! Because he understood me too well! That's why he could suppress me in combat capability..." Hearing Robert's murmur, the dark Jin, now dominant after the fusion, revealed a fierce smile and explained, "But precisely because he understood me so well, his grasp and understanding of evil were no less than mine!"

"Before our separation, he could suppress his evil thoughts with his own goodness. But after we merged again, the two evil thoughts were too much for his single good thought to counter, so..."

"I, Jin, have returned! Underground world, cheer for your emperor! Applaud!"

Clearly, the newly merged dark Jin appeared somewhat insane, or rather, his mindset had shifted due to being suppressed for too long, now eager to unleash himself.

"Two portions of evil thoughts suppressed one of goodness? Doesn't that mean, you had not a single good thought before merging?" Robert raised an eyebrow, looking at the dark Jin with some surprise.

"I am recognized by the lord of hell as one of the rare top-tier villains, a born demon. Why would I need goodness? If not for this cursed talisman, I wouldn't have such useless things as good thoughts!" Clutching the tiger talisman, the dark Jin first spoke through gritted teeth, then burst into crazed laughter.

"Ha ha ha ha! However, this talisman has given me unprecedented power. I can feel I'm much stronger than before. Once I kill you, no one will know what happened before. I will expand my dark empire further!"

"You killed my trusted subordinate, Lester. Let's settle it with your life! If you hurry, maybe you'll meet him in hell!"

With a "Boom!", as the dark Jin finished speaking, the bricks under his feet suddenly burst apart, and his body transformed into a blur, disappearing from the spot.

"Be careful!" Jackie Chan's pupils shrank, instinctively shouting a warning, attempting to pull Robert back, but grasping at air.

"Boom!" The next moment, a loud noise followed. Jackie Chan, following the sound, saw Robert and the dark Jin's fists collide. Despite Robert's fist being less than half the size of the dark Jin's, the latter staggered back several steps after the collision, each step creating a small crater in the ground.

"Gulp!" Jackie Chan swallowed hard upon witnessing this scene, then heard the sound of swallowing from five other directions.

As Jackie Chan looked around, he saw Ah Fu and the others, who had been quietly regrouping, staring dumbfounded at the clash between Robert and the dark Jin.

Even the sumo wrestler True and martial artist Ah Fu had to admit, the power Robert and the dark Jin displayed was far beyond what they could handle.

Indeed, Ah Fu believed Robert's previous words about sparing him, realizing if Robert had used his current strength against him, he likely wouldn't be able to stand up again...

"Let's go! While no one's paying attention to us!" Almost simultaneously, Ah Fu and the others reached a consensus due to the threat posed by Robert and the dark Jin's power, quietly retreating, fearing to draw their attention.
