Superman’s Saiyan little brother

"It seems like everyone who has come into contact with the spell has undergone some changes. I'll ask Uncle Long about it later... Oh, and I have to tell you, I ran into a counterfeit Clark!" Robert pondered over the spell, then excitedly shared his experience of beating up the counterfeit Superman.

"Really?" Kara's eyes lit up with interest as she listened to Robert's story. After all, the counterfeit Superman he described was almost identical to Clark in appearance and abilities, which intrigued Kara.

"I'll take you home first to see Robert and the others. Or rather, let's get to know them again!" Clark, who was originally strolling with Lana, heard his silly brother's voice from afar and immediately planned to change his schedule. He looked at Lana and suggested.

"Sure, I'll follow your lead!" Lana held Clark's hand tenderly and responded.

To Lana, what they did wasn't important; being together with Clark was all that mattered...

"Let me carry you and fly; it'll be faster." Hearing Robert still vividly narrating how he thrashed the counterfeit Superman, Clark grew impatient to see Robert's reaction when he appeared.

Of course, another reason Clark brought Lana back was that he suspected her newfound superpowers might be related to the spell. Robert was knowledgeable about these powers, so he could help Clark feel at ease.

"I was saying, when I fought that counterfeit Superman, his face shattered, and tiny stones fell off. It looked super weird, just like Clark's face..." Robert was still enthusiastically recounting his battle when he suddenly sensed something and quickly changed the subject.

"Clark's face suddenly appeared in front of the Lord, startling him. Then Clark punched the Lord, sending him flying to the abandoned city. It was Clark who drove the Lord here, or else it wouldn't have been so easy for me to deal with him!"

"Lord? Abandoned city? Weren't you just talking about..." Kara was confused by Robert's abrupt change of topic but quickly caught on and played along, "That Lord is indeed troublesome, being the master of the spell. It's good that Clark inadvertently helped you..."

"You change your story pretty fast, don't you!" Clark appeared in front of Robert and Kara, holding Lana. He looked at Robert, slightly annoyed.

"Ah? You two are together?" Seeing Clark and Lana embraced in flight, a hint of envy flashed in Kara's eyes as she thought, "I've never been embraced like that by Robert..."

She remembered the last time she held Robert, he was unconscious and injured. The time before that, Robert acted like a block of wood, even considering a piece of dinosaur meat more important than her...

"Clark, have you two finally made it official?" Thoughts raced through Kara's mind, but upon hearing Clark's question, she came back to reality and chimed in to cover for Robert, "Congratulations... Huh? Lana seems a bit different than before?"

Out of respect for acquaintances, Kara normally wouldn't use her x-ray vision carelessly, but she keenly sensed something different about Lana.

"Yes, I don't know why, but I suddenly gained special powers, and they seem similar to Clark's..." Lana replied, quite familiar with Kara as she would visit Clark from time to time.

"Power from the spell?" Robert's eyes flashed with surprise. He turned his attention to Lana. Initially, he hadn't sensed anything because Clark was holding her, but now he keenly detected similarities between the aura around Lana and the spell.

"Is it the power of the spell? Lana fainted nearby during your battle with the Lord, and right after the explosion, she gained extraordinary powers. Can you check it out?" Clark didn't bother with Robert's excitement over the counterfeit Superman and was more concerned about the sudden awakening of Lana's powers, fearing unknown harm.

Worried for her well-being, Clark cared more about her safety than anything else.

"Yeah, when the twelve spells exploded, some of their power merged into me, but it seems to be only those I've studied..." Robert pondered, then softly added.

"Steve, Barry Allen, they all came into contact with the spell and gained its power. But Lana seems different; she appears to have more than one type of spell power. I sense at least the cow, rabbit, chicken, pig, and horse spell powers in her. Did you come into contact with the spell before?"

"Spell? What is that?" Lana asked, looking confused.

With a "buzz," Robert's finger lightly tapped, and a sphere of energy appeared before him. It morphed into the twelve spell symbols, some of which vividly resonated with the spell power within Lana.

"It feels familiar, like my power is resonating with them, but I've never seen them before..." Lana exclaimed, somewhat hesitant.

"Let's see your abilities, one at a time, no rush. We'll try them slowly," Robert suggested thoughtfully.

"Go ahead," encouraged Clark, gently patting Lana's shoulder.

"First, this one..." Lana took a deep breath and vanished in a flash, showing a speed surpassing Barry Allen and Pietro as observed by Robert. While her speed was purely physical, like Clark and Kara, it was driven by spell power.

Lana then demonstrated her other abilities, just as Robert sensed: she possessed multiple spell powers, similar overall to Kryptonians like Clark and Kara.

Flying, super strength, super defense, super speed, super healing, and heat vision – Lana could easily pass for Superman if not for the gender difference. It was uncertain if she could survive in space or if her powers could further evolve.

Such thoughts crossed Robert's mind, knowing Clark would be upset at the suggestion of testing Lana in a vacuum.

"Clark, don't worry, Lana is fine!" After observing all her abilities and deducing their nature, Robert assured Clark.

"Really?" Clark relaxed but still asked for confirmation.

"Of course. You know, if Lana keeps her identity hidden, you two could be a super couple..." Robert teased, remembering Lana's persistence. She had been visiting Clark for years, not an easy feat.

"I did think of doing something similar with Clark, but I don't plan to appear as a couple..." Lana chuckled, shaking her head, "We're already a loving couple in real life. Working together as superheroes risks exposure, and that's not ideal..."

"Yeah, Lana mentioned starting in Kansas..." Clark nodded, hugging Lana, "But let me share some rules I've come up with; remember them well."

"Sure, tell me, I'll remember!" Lana assured earnestly.

"First, don't rush into unknown crises. Call me, and I'll help. Second, you don't have to intervene in everything. Focus on unforeseen disasters and tragedies. Leave police matters alone unless lives are at risk. Finally, when encountering other super-beings, don't act rashly or provoke them. Call me in these cases too..."

"Feels like every solution involves calling you, huh?" Lana teased.

"I just don't want you to get hurt, physically or emotionally. I know this isn't what you really want to do; you just want to be closer to me. But more than anything, I want you safe..." Clark shared, recalling the negative reactions he sometimes faced as Superman.

"You too, don't feel too pressured..." Lana understood and held his hand, sympathetically.

"Should we leave them alone?" Kara felt awkward watching Clark and Lana get closer and noted Robert's ease. She whispered to him.

"Why?" Robert asked, puzzled.

"We'll leave you two. We don't want to make you uncomfortable," Clark smiled at Kara's comment and whispered, "You need to step up, hoping for your success!"

"Ah!" Kara blushed, glancing at Robert, while Clark and Lana flew away, not as superheroes, but enjoying life as a couple.

"Why are you blushing?" Robert asked Kara after Clark and Lana left.

"It's just... I envy how they can fly together..." Kara mumbled, her voice barely audible.

"Envy? We can fly together too," Robert replied, genuinely confused.
