The major family clans began to seek help from their extraterrestrial forces; otherwise, even if they managed to hold back the beast tide, it was feared that the majority of humans would die in the onslaught.

Before the extraterrestrial Ascenders arrived, a lone Ascender from the mother planet made his way to the seaside.

“How could Yi Jingren’s daughter represent Yashen Base? Isn’t Yashen Base owned by the Xu Family and the Lu Family? Wait… is Yi Jingren’s surname Yi…?” Lin Shen suddenly asked what seemed like a rather foolish question.

“Of course Yi Jingren’s surname is Yi,” Mo Shengqi looked at Lin Shen, thinking him a bit of an idiot.

Lin Shen’s mind was clearly not the problem; he was well aware that Yi Jingren’s surname was Yi. Inside Yashen Base, he also knew of someone else with the surname Yi—Madam Ye.

“This is utterly ridiculous!” the more Lin Shen thought about it, the more he felt he was out of his mind back then. Why flee at all? He should’ve asked Ye Yuzhen who her grandfather was and clung tightly to those coattails on the spot.

“The situation doesn’t look too bad,” Lin Shen only wanted to follow the main force; it didn’t matter to him who was in command.

The next morning, the families supporting the Goddess Consort came to set up camp at Sea Corn Base, with a good number of their Mutators.

Mostly they were Alloy Mutators, but Crystal-based Variants were not in short supply either.

Lin Shen took a quick glance; leading the Crystal-based Variants was Ouyang Yudu, with about three hundred people, while there were over a thousand Alloy Mutators.

If the other two teams have roughly the same numbers, then for this expedition, humans will have around a thousand Crystal-based individuals and three to four thousand Alloy Mutators.

The number of troops was almost enough to go toe-to-toe with the main force of the Ultra-Burning Corps, but now divided into three groups, any single unit would likely find it difficult to hold its ground against the main force of their opponent.

Bai Shenfei led everyone to the lakeside, standing as close as possible to facilitate quick regrouping of the teams after entering.

Lin Shen was curious about where they would be teleported to this time; with his current ability to survive, it seemed there would be no difficulty in staying alive, no matter the location.
