POV: Belief

Time was running out for the king. Well, in more ways than one.

I had enough of being treated badly because of my status as a minor-god, and I had enough of not being known. But, so had many others. The king and his 'allies' never give much thought to those without power, they push us to the side and make sure we're kept in pain from the lack of believers.

But they hadn't realized the consequences of their own actions. By only caring about themselves... they only gave us a reason to go against them.

That is why I was currently sitting at a round table with five other minor-gods. We were gathered here to discuss our situation.

"-that's why we should try to just kill him! With his own weapon I'd say!" said Emotion, his apparent anger multiplied by his domain.

Plan looked like she wanted to facepalm at the idea, "And just how would we do that? He would sense you approach from a mile away due to his domain."

Nothing said nothing, as per usual as they didn't really feel anything.

I just couldn't let them all argue with increasingly ridiculous ideas anymore. Emotion, Plan, Nothing, Innovation, and Artist should know better than that! I just sighed and spoke out loud, interrupting the others.

"Look! Guys! Would you all just stop that? This is obviously going nowhere!"

Innovation glared at me, "Well, do you have any bright ideas? Because we're kind of running short of those!"

I rolled my eyes, "Of course I do. You guys were there at the big meeting, right? The one about the 'prophecy' I mean."

I received a couple of grumbled 'yes' and 'it was mandatory!'.

"Well, then, if we can't do anything on our own... why don't we ask for help? Or, more like lend our help."

The room froze. The implication of what I had just said sank into everyone. Until, after only a few moments, Plan's voice went out. "Of course! That Lor guy is able to hide himself from the king right? I mean, otherwise, he would've been found out already. And we could help him for our protection! I bet that's where Fate went, he probably saw what was going to happen and went to the one that could hide him!"

Emotion suddenly looked quite a bit more joyous.
