So, I'm a witch, so what?

Julius meets One Swing

"AHHHHHHHHHHG!!!! CHIKUSHō!"

I will overpower you, damn elf god. I shall get my revenge! One day, I will become stronger. I’ll be the strongest one in the world! I will make that prick kneel and kiss my feet for forgiveness. This is far from over. This humiliation is not proper for a god like myself.

“Hup!”

I will have no mercy against this guy. He deserves none. I shall have no mercy against this guy; I will have none! How dare he? How dare, how dare? KGGGGG! My rage burns deep inside my body while I grind my teeth, losing myself in my anger until the persistent “Hup” distracts me.

“Hup!”

What was making that darn noise? Was I imagining things or what? I looked over every direction, not seeing much other than a long purple sword wildly swinging in the distance. Yet how was that possible? Hadn’t that god cast me as far away from civilization as possible? How was there someone near?

“HUP!”

Again, There was the same voice, tone, and intensity. Who was making those noises anyway? All I saw was a ridiculously long sword going up and down behind a small mountain, so I checked it out since I had nothing better to do. What else could I do at that point anyway?

“Hup!”

On the other side of the mountain, a man stood firm on the ice surface of a glacier, swinging his ridiculously long sword into the horizon. His motion was clean and precise. A warm layer of air hits your face with every swing. How strange could he be another lost soul sent here by a god?

“Hey, there, buddy.”

The long-haired man pays me no attention as he swings his sword. His ignorant attitude hits something within me that makes me think he intentionally ignored me. An Ego stomper, if you will. I couldn’t let that slide, so I went ahead and used magic against the man, stopping his blade in mid-air with magic.

“Hup—! Hm? Is that an icicle? It’s very long. I’m impressed.”

“Hey, there. Sorry to bother you, but how did you get here?”

“I had heard this was a place of great solitude, a long way from home where I could practice the swinging of my blade for great lengths of time, and so I walked here.”

“You walked HERE?!”

“Yes!”

That’s all I needed to know from this guy with a strange attitude toward someone who meant to disrespect him. Something about his laid-back attitude hit me the wrong way. Was he genuinely fearless, or was he dumb? Wasn’t he able to sense my crushing magical signature?

“Could I ask you to take me back to civilization?”

“Well... If I must. Though I wish to stay and continue to train for greater lengths, I suppose if you’re in a hurry, I have no choice but to assist some geezer whose patience is very short indeed. Very well, let’s go.”

“Did you just call me Geezer? Don’t you know who I AM?!”

“I have never seen or heard of you. Now, let’s go before I leave you speaking to yourself.”

“I am a god damn god killer! How dare you disrespect me!”

Julius, the god killer, had challenged One Swing, who was simply trying to train alone for a minute. It seemed that it didn’t matter where he trained. People always found ways to get him in trouble he never asked for. Even in this far away secluded land of nothing, trouble found him.

“Blessing of magic caster! Ultimate form! [Restricted] Damn! Ugh! Second form! Warlord!” The mysterious, nameless man shouted something and then went into an armored form, apparently to fight One Swing, who was only prepared to fight because he had to.

{Sigh} One Swing calmly raised his trusted sword made out of exceptional material just for him. With the power of soul power in it, nothing could stop his blade, or so he thought.

“DIE! SKILL! GOD KILLING PUNCH!”

“SEVEN-SLAYING STAR JUDGMENT OF—!”

Both men moved at the same speed and clashed against their weapons of choice, Julius’s punches versus One Swing’s sword; for a minute, it seemed like One Swing was winning the first clash. The first clash eventually went to One Swing, who threw Julius far away into a mountain.

“That was an impressive move. Too bad it was so short-lived. Looks like he’s already done...”

“WHO DO YOU THINK IS DONE FOR!? SKILL! SEVEN DEADLY METORITE!”

“HEAVEN-PIERCING VIOLET OVERDRIVE—!”

Julius’s seven magical beams clashed against One Swing’s Sword, and once again, his power almost managed to push away that ridiculous blade of his. Still, One Swing eventually destroyed his magical balls. The enemy looked frustrated at the ground, like he was missing firepower. Had the god locked away his abilities?!

“Are you finished? I don’t wish to be kept from my training for much longer.”

"DAMN YOU! AAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!"

"Your short temper offends me. Can I leave now?” One Swing’s attitude only served to piss off Julius even further, who didn’t take kindly to his laid-back attitude. Finally, moments later, Julius began to seriously try to kill one Swing, who had to retreat.

“WHAT WERE YOU SAYING?! CRY! CRY LITTLE BOY CRY!”

“...”

One Swing didn’t respond to Julius’ punches. He took every single one while thinking, “What did I do to cause this reaction?” Julius proudly kept plummeting One Swing, but he eventually stopped once he threw him far away, yet One Swing never let go of his sword.

“That was... unpleasant. Are you finished?” One Swing calmly picked himself up from the hole he was thrown into, showing only minor scratches as he gripped his sword.

“How the hell? I’m sure I broke your bones. How are you?!”

“I’ve gone to great lengths to train my body to become the longest. I can endure this much, at least. But I won’t hold it against you if you want to apologize.”

“Are you mocking me!?”

“No, but your short temper is starting to offend me, so leave me to my training, and we can call it even.” (Albeit I don’t even know for what.)

One Swing didn’t back down and didn’t like Julius, who was building a sword just as long as One Swing’s but made out of magic instead of Soul metal. Julius’s sword immediately caught his attention, and he was excited that he had met someone with the same passion, even if his sword was a tad longer.

“Wha—?! That sword! It’s length is very impressive! What do you call it? I call mine—”

“YOUR DEATH!”

“From Justice’s Incarnation of Abyssal Crimson Light—!”

The motion was almost similar, with Julius Swinging sideways, eventually clashing against One Swing’s sword. The Clash made the entire ground beneath them tremble and rumble, eventually making One Swing look like the hero with his long hair moving to the rhythm of the air.

Past the first clash, the fight continued with Julius trying a head-on Swing from up, too, which is met with One Swing’s own slash in defense, causing another clash. The second sword clash causes another vast and long beam of light to emanate from the collision of powers, which eventually equalize each other.

Hours go on like that, clash after clash. One Swing’s sword name grew longer and longer, as did his enjoyment. Finally, he had found someone with whom he could spar without killing them with a single strike. Not only that, but this opponent matched his long sword style, and he could respect that.

{Julius Panting along with One Swing}

“Are you satisfied yet?”

“Fuck you! How are you able to keep up with me?”

“Well, I am starting to reach the lengths of my limit, I must admit...”

“How about a draw? Just show me back to civilization, and I’ll put this behind us.”

“Very well. Sounds good to me.”
