Reverend Insanity’s Formation Venerable

Treck across the Western Desert.

Wei Ru and Wei Su had already prepared for a long time, during all this while, they had already become companions of the highest degree.

Wei Ru decided to only have the most important things in the storage, water, meat, gu's food etc..., however he also needed things in order to trade so he kept valuables.

By the afternoon, they were fully ready, Wei Ru looked towards the sun before looking forward with a smile, "finally," this world contained many complex emotions, hearing it was akin to hearing a song rather than simply a word, to Wei Ru this meant a lot.

Wei Ru remembered something and looked towards where he thought Southern Border would be, "Blood Demon, I trust you have been well?"

The sandy wind moved around, there were no answers but he didn't care, he wasn't expecting any answers. He only had one question he wanted to ask Blood Demon when he returned back to Southern Border. 'Why did you choose blood path, do you disregard Heavenly Court's ability?'

He shook his head, he didn't need care about such things until he went back to the comfort of civilization.

"Wei Su, are you ready?" He had already packed everything in his storage gu in the aperture, sadly he had really low reserves of food for his gu, however, no one could blame him, how was he supposed to get more gu food?

In the night, when he could stand the temperature a bit more, he decided to leave. He looked back one last time at his familiar oasis, who knew when they might meet again? "Farewell."

The lively bird, Wei Su, had already perched on top of Wei Ru's shoulder, "I feel more like a pirate now," he joked with the bird as they went through this journey, he could understand Wei Su's nonverbal gestures after such a long time, as for verbal, he couldn't make sense of it ever.

The desert's sun beat down on him, it reminded him of his demoralizing journey from Southern Border, to pass the time he constructed a wooden house and used roots to firm up the soil. His attainment in Wood path after living in this hellscape with barely any trees had actually increased to quasi master, it made him appreciate their ability to survive.

"Besides joking with Wei Su I have also memorized this formation path forwards, backwards, and sideways, he laughed alone be himself," Wei Su was already asleep. He used some of the materials he had in his storage gu to try constructing a formation. "This formation path inheritance is quite special, rather than relying on gu, it jumps straight to materials which makes it extremely difficult, I have already gotten quasi master in this as well." Wei Ru sighed before going to sleep.

Many weeks passed by again, the direction was correct but, comparing the speed of a bird suited to this environment and a gu master, unless the gu master had movement gu, the bird would be better, even better was that the bird didn't require any primeval essence to fly.

Wei Ru looked at the storage gu, he had a contemplative and nostalgic look, he then looked at some of his gu worms, "It's great that you survived so long, thank you for accompanying me."

Several days later, only his movement, storage, wood burst attack gu, and vine gu and some others survived, the expensive gu worms that he had previously bought were almost all dead. Most of them looked like caterpillars so he decided to eat them to alleviate his hunger.

"This world is truly harsh," he looked at the waning moon, some sorrow could be detected in his eyes.

Wei Ru began his journey again, before, he used to think that immortal materials were common due to reading about Fang Yuan looting, yet he hadn't come across any in his journey.

"No matter, as long I have perseverance, like that Miniman, I will eventually get to civilization.

Wei Su started to chirp, flying in the air by itself.

Finally, across the horizon, he saw an oasis, what was extraordinary was that it had mud buildings around it, the hustle and bustle could be lightly sensed.

"Finally."
