Remnants anomaly

Serious matter

Honestly speaking the only reason in leons opinion that the man hadn't gone insane was his powerful will and the fact the other auras were really similar in nature to his own lowering the conflicts between the two. it was pretty clear to leon however that this fusion still came at a hefty cost since he had been able to notice the part of the soul in charge of magic had been stunted because of this fusion. when leon had identified the magic in ozpins soul he had been originally shocked since only he himself had an integrated magic system as far as he had seen.

Leon could tell that the magic in qrow was of a foreign nature due to the different color it had compared to his own aura , while for ozpin the color was only barely different and had leon not been familiar with the difference between magic and aura he might not have even found it. if aura moved like air then magic was like water , similar but different. to someone without magic the two might seem the same but they were in fact not. leons sharingan gave him a massively unfair advantage when it came to this field of study since he could actually see the differences.

Leon was concerned about these small changes in himself but was frustrated that even when he observed himself to the best of his abilities he saw no sign of any foreign thing in his aura. while leon was mentally having a panic attack the twin gods were watching in amusement. "this mortal doesn't seem to realize that he had absorbed my stolen power fully and as such is in no true danger." the dark god said amused. "he can not be blamed for not understanding these truths when even those fascinating eyes of his cannot see inside himself very well." the white god said calmly.

"Those eyes truly are an interesting thing , it almost perfectly accentuates myself much like those silver eyes you scattered into the world. though the faint traces of divine nature within them is of concern since it is not truly balanced against those silver eyes unlike if i were to send a set of eyes based on myself." the dark god said seriously. "it is of no consequence to us the unbalanced nature of those eyes until the mortal manages to reproduce."

"At which time your powers influence may balance the offspring's own eyes with those of the silver eyed tribe." the white god said and they both went silent again. meanwhile leon had decided to take a trip to see ozpin to get his input on this situation. if anyone knew something about this problem it was likely the only other magic user leon had ever met who was quite a bit older than him. the funny thing was that leon could tell thanks to his sharingan that ozpin was way older than he appeared thanks to the growth that aura and souls experience over time.

Leons theory was that ozpin had kept his youth by infusing the aura of similar people into his own which explained the strange difference in age each of the different colored auras had. leon could see this being a cruel sacrifice ozpin made in order to have a qualified leader around at all times which is why he didn't feel any disgust at ozpin over it. still none the less if ozpin was as old as leon thought or even close he was the best option to figure out what was wrong.

Leon walked into the elevator with a serious expression and hit the button to take him to the top of the clock tower. it was a normal day for ozpin for the most part as he peacefully filled out the paperwork of the day and checked the progress of the students who caught his eye. this changed when the elevator doors opened and ozpin saw leon step out. "good evening leon is there something i can help you with?" he greeted before visibly flinching when he made eye contact with leon. he recognized the black streaks in leons eyes , how could he of all people not after all.
