Reborn as a Goddess with a World Creation System

Chapter 19: Awakening Divine Creativity

Angely and Ariana talked for a long time. Angely shared her progress in creating new creatures, and though they weren't numerous, her ability was improving considerably with each attempt. She explained to Ariana that the primordial fairies were already taking living beings to islands in the middle of the sea and that, in the future, they could expand their exploration of Arcadia, seeking new lands to fill with life.

Angely also mentioned that there were countless incredible creatures in the memories she had received from Ariana, and this time, she had focused all her time on creating a majestic creature. The passion with which Angely described the new creation piqued Ariana's curiosity, prompting her to take a look. She focused her divine powers and saw a beautiful unicorn drinking water. The sight fascinated her, as something that used to be just a fantasy in movies and games was now before her eyes. Ariana realized she didn't need to limit herself to creating only common creatures, and her imagination was the only limit to her creations.

After several hours of conversation, Angely returned to the village of the primordial fairies, leaving Ariana lost in thought. The goddess of creation began to contemplate what the next creature she would bring to life would be.

While contemplating her possibilities, Ariana realized she wasn't limited to replicating existing beings from her past world, like the shadow wolf. Although the shadow wolf was an intriguing creation, it amounted to nothing more than a common wolf with special powers. Ariana yearned for something more, something truly innovative.

She paused to ponder Angely's words, which had inspired her with the idea that there were still vast areas in Arcadia devoid of life. While the primordial fairies were tasked with bringing her creations to all corners of the realm, Ariana realized nothing prevented her from taking the initiative and creating life in unknown places herself.

Guided by her creativity and divine power, Ariana decided to venture into the creation of a truly unique and original creature.

She remembered that Angely had mentioned the creation of the Kraken. Although it was an incredible creature, Ariana recognized that the Kraken was classified as a level two creature in terms of power. She already had Glacius as a powerful guardian of the frozen lands, but she understood that the Kraken wasn't robust enough to protect the vast ocean that bathed Arcadia.

With this in mind, she envisioned a huge and powerful creature, ready to give it life. Ariana called upon the System.

Ariana had accumulated a significant amount of creation points, thanks to her System reward and the new humans. However, she still had two creations of living beings left to fulfill her initial goal of creating four monsters for Arcadia. Realizing she still had "Creation of Living Being" available and didn't need to spend any more points, Ariana teleported to a region in the middle of the ocean. There were areas in Arcadia that still lacked life, despite the realm's constant evolution.

As she floated above the waters, a substantial amount of water began to rise around her, forming a majestic figure with eyes radiating divinity and hair flowing in the wind. The winds became intense, rain clouds formed in the sky, and a mysterious glow started to manifest in Ariana's hand. In the creation of another of Arcadia's pillars, she proclaimed, "In the deep and mysterious waters, I, Ariana, goddess of creation, forge your form. Wyrm of the Depths, guardian of the ocean, come and fulfill your purpose."

Then, the water that snaked around her began to take shape. Bright blue scales emerged, rising to where the horizon met the sky. With a majestic dive, the creature descended into the sea, becoming the new guardian of the ocean's depths.

Ariana, content with her new creation, watched as the Wyrm of the Depths embarked on its majestic journey through the sea. However, she was far from finished with her creative efforts.

While flying over Arcadia's skies, Ariana noticed something deeply touching. Despite the implementation of the reincarnation cycle, some souls still seemed to wander anxiously and lost throughout the realm. She witnessed a heart-wrenching scene: a mother tigress, who had departed from this world, was desperately chasing after her cubs. Her roars were filled with distress, as if she were trying to get her children's attention, to comfort and protect them.

The cubs, however, were lying beside their deceased mother, crying inconsolably. They couldn't see her, even though she was right there with them. The mother tigress couldn't make her children aware of her presence. Her roars and growls grew progressively weaker until she finally gave up. With a single tear rolling from her eye, she lay down beside her cubs, who were still blind to her existence.

Ariana experienced a whirlwind of emotions witnessing this poignant scene. While she knew that the reincarnation cycle would welcome many souls, she was aware that some of them would still wander through Arcadia, not fully comprehending their situation. Motivated by empathy for these lost souls, Ariana decided to help calm them and provide some comfort on their journey. She knew that the Goddess of Death would eventually address these souls in a more comprehensive manner.

After an extensive search of Arcadia, Ariana finally decided to create something entirely new, a biome that would be a gift to the world. She understood the complexity of manipulating Arcadia's terrain and, as a precaution, decided to acquire the "Terrain Manipulation" skill through the System. It cost her a thousand creation points, but Ariana recognized the importance of approaching this task with the necessary guidance and care.

She chose a small forest as the location for her new endeavor. Landing gently on the ground, she extended her hands, which began to glow with a purplish light. In response to her divine intervention, an incredible transformation unfolded before her eyes. The small trees inhabiting the area started to grow at an astonishing rate, their trunks reaching for the sky and reaching unimaginable heights. Night-blooming flowers started to radiate magical colors, and the streams that wound through the forest flowed over the tree trunks, creating sparkling and dazzling waterfalls.

A notification sound echoed, and the System acknowledged Ariana's creation. [Congratulations! The creation of the 'Ancient Tree Sanctuary' has been successfully completed. This new biome will be integrated into Arcadia without causing any harm to existing fauna and flora and can appear in various regions of Arcadia], the System commented, validating Ariana's creation.

The biome was created perfectly as Ariana had envisioned. It only took her a second to think about how she wanted everything to be, and the System flawlessly replicated her vision.

[Due to your efforts, the 'Mass Creature Creation' has been released in the System's store for 200 creation points] the System announced.

Ariana was pleased with the new option and her curiosity led her to ask, "How many of the same living beings can I create using this?"

The System promptly replied, [It depends on the capabilities of the living being. It's not possible to create large quantities of the same living being if it's very detailed or very powerful.]

The System's response made it clear that while the mass creation option was available, certain restrictions applied, especially for complex or high-level creatures.

Ariana made a quick decision and immediately acquired the "Mass Creature Creation" skill in the System, leaving her last "Creation of Living Being" option behind. She was eager to explore the possibilities of this new skill.

Kneeling beside a small stream winding through the area, Ariana dipped her hand into the water. It was a magical night, with numerous brightly colored flowers illuminating the surroundings, creating an atmosphere worthy of fairy tales. As she played with the water, a small leaf began to fall slowly in her direction.

Ariana looked up and reached out to grab the leaf. The moment the leaf touched her hand, she closed it tightly. Her hands radiated intense light for just a few seconds. When Ariana opened her hands, as if performing a magic trick, several birds flew out in all directions, spreading through the forest. Ariana had just created her fourth and final monster.
