Reality Breaker: Edge of Reality

After two hours of waiting, Cale and Minho finally emerged from the Fracture, meeting the gaze of reporters and cameras.

They both heard shouts saying, “One word, Master Cale!” and another shouted, “Are you really the one arranging the competition?!”

Cale glanced back at Minho and whispered, “You go. I will handle this.” Minho walked away while Cale stepped forward and took the mic from a blue-haired woman. “Yes, I am the one who arranged it. If any of you have the talent and vigor, then compete—not only for yourselves but for your country.”

Cale spoke as if he were giving a speech on a battlefield to his soldiers. His eyes were cold but filled with determination as he looked at the cameras, flashes of light illuminating him.

“One more question, Mr. Dark Scythe,” one of the older men shouted from behind the crowd, drawing Cale’s attention as he looked at him and said, “Speak.”

“At what rank are you right now?!” the man asked curiously. All eyes were now on Cale. They were eager to know the rank of the strongest person at that moment. The words that came from his mouth would decide how people reacted to his strength.

“I am at D-Rank. I will become C-Rank soon,” Cale said with a happy face. Everyone’s eyes widened; not even a month had passed, and the strongest was becoming even stronger. This made them all think one thing: Who will be able to rival someone like the "Dark Scythe Wielder"? But the real question should be, Who will be able to become like him?

“Thank you very much.” After saying his part, Cale concluded with a final remark and left as the guards made way for him. He sat inside the black car once again. The driver asked him, “Shall we go to the D-Rank Fracture?” Cale nodded in reply while holding the tablet as the car drove away.

The viewers watching the live news of Cale became very enthusiastic. Who wouldn’t want to compete in the competition organized by the strongest man on Earth right now? There was the honor of fighting him and even a chance to be accepted into his “Personal Team.” Even those who did not want to compete would at least go there to spectate him.

The news made some feel unhappy, probably because the competition was only for Korea to participate in. However, many were happy that they would be able to actually spectate how strong the country’s champions were.

On the other hand, Cale had already arrived in front of the D-Rank Fracture. He had no idea what kind of fire he had ignited in the whole world with just one statement.

Cale entered the D-Rank Fracture alone. Inside, the Fracture was larger, and more trees and rocks could be seen. But Cale did not care about this. 'Equip Armor', he thought. As soon as he did, a red armor appeared on his body, excluding his head.

Cale traveled a bit and saw five Fire Lizards. But instead of charging at them, he dodged their fireball attacks by running to the side. He dodged again and again.

After three dodges, he jumped onto one of the branches and shouted at the Fire Lizards, “Hey! Lizards! You’ve probably heard of fireballs, right? Seeing as you’re using them!”

Cale was shouting at them, but the non-intelligent creatures couldn’t understand him; they kept attacking him as he dodged.

“Let me show you something else today!” As soon as Cale shouted this, he squatted on the tree branch and yelled, “Waterball!” Five waterballs the size of ten-year-olds formed and shot at them.

The Fire Lizards screamed in pain, but Cale just laughed deviously. “How do you like that? I’m smart, right?” He laughed more sarcastically now.

Even if they were unintelligent, they could still feel the mockery in Cale's tone and actions. Even disgusting creatures knew some sort of pride. Even if they were attacked with their weakness, they would fight with full force no matter what.

Cale noticed the sudden change in their attitude and laughed at them again. “HAHAHA. You creatures think you can have pride like us?!” Cale shouted angrily as he jumped down from the tree branch.

The five Fire Lizards shot fireballs at him, but Cale dodged them easily. His hands became enveloped in water as he ran toward them, quickly reaching the one at the forefront.

He punched upwards, hitting the Fire Lizard with his fist, and jumped high above the flying lizard as the others prepared to attack him mid-air. Cale punched down, pinning it to the ground, which cracked on impact, killing it.

The other four Fire Lizards shot fireballs at Cale, who wore a devious smile. He formed a wall of translucent water and said, “Come on, ALL OF YOU!!” His hands became enveloped with flowing water, appearing as if air was being excluded from his grasp.

Cale landed on one of them, and with both fists, he punched downwards, splitting its head as the ground cracked again.

The other three Fire Lizards looked at his back in fear. Cale glanced back at them with a demonic smile and said, “Afraid~!?” This scared them into submission. They attempted to flee, but Cale grabbed the corpse of the large Fire Lizard and threw it at one of them, killing it with the force.

The other two started to flee, but Cale ran fast enough to appear in their line of sight. The only thing one of them saw was a kick coming at him, filling his vision completely.

The other Fire Lizard screamed as he kneeled down, thinking Cale would show mercy, but Cale said, “Boring!” and jumped at him, killing him.

Ding!
