Prince and His Fool

Chapter 34: Peeping Janes

Hurriedly changing the subject, YingTie went back to lodging his complaint, "Well the sad thing is that I can't even beat him up anymore or dare to offend him lest I wake up the sleeping beast. Who knew that little prick would turn out to be a demigod, how can l come to terms with that?" smashing the table with his heavy-handed fist splitting it in half as he expressed his frustration.

Wu Yange regressed backwards, his eyebrow raised unruffled by his impulsive aggression. "Ever since we returned from the border he has been on everyone's lips, especially maidens," he pursed his dry chapped lips and leaned forward, "that brat is a rotten apple. He's got all the girls going down the wrong even the bashful ones."

Wu Yange had a bad premonition and so decided to ditch his indifference, this once, he wanted to be nosy, "What did he do now?" with a hint of urgency in his voice.

Ying Tie leaned back with his cheek twitching, "It's not what he did but it's what my sister made him do,"

The prince glared at him with his dark icy stared impatiently waiting for him to explain what he meant. The brawny man didn't want to divulge the shameful details when he felt a sinister force invading his entire body, from the soles on his feet creeping up to his back. When his eyes met Wu Yange's chilling gaze, his whole back was instantly drenched in a cold sweat. He swallowed hard before saying, "Ah, she….she had a maiden tell him about the river so his bathing there so she and a group of girls can peep," averting his gaze.

Wu Yange clenched his fist in till his fingertips were pale feeling like he had unexpectedly been made to wear a green hat. That person belonged to him but they had the audacity to set their eyes on his man basking in his smooth porcelain skin. His jaw tightly clenched with purple veins bulging out of the dollish neck, he grabbed whatever was left of the smashed table and savagely flung it burning to cinders mid-air. In an instant, he vanished leaving behind a terror-stricken Ying Tie.

You have to understand this lionhearted herculean man, nothing in this world ever terrified him neither in the heavens above nor hell below. No one had ever scared the living daylight out of him except for the powerful prince, Wu Yange, and it had only happened once when the prince was drunk and today was the second time. He was scared that his blood ran cold, secretly glad he wasn't Rong Zian.

In a few strides, the livid prince had already spotted his unsuspecting target and it was just as Ying Tie had described. Rong Zian was frolicking shirtless in the river with his shameless voyeurs watching with sparkling eyes and blushing faces behind the bushes.

Wu Yange descended on a credulous Rong Zian with so much vehemently splashing water as though a giant meteoroid had descended from space striking the river with extensive potency. Rong Zian was scared stiff, brainless, unable to comprehend the sudden disturbance of his tranquil relaxation.

The giant splash hit hard on his face like a tsunami instantly gulping a mouthful of river water losing his footing but before taking a plunge a warm strong arm embraced his waist and held him in place. He coughed a couple of times drying his hazy eyes and cursed when he realised who it was, "Shit Yang-er! Why are you dropping on me like the fuckin' terminator?"

He was scolding him infuriated but it wasn't the massive splash that had him flustered, it was a strong and secure arm possessively and shamelessly cuddling his waistline as though he was a damsel in distress. Wu Yange's brows knitted together and without warning, he let go of the mouthy idiot causing him to fall into the water. Rong Zian got back to his feet and searched frantically for the top half of his undergarment he had been wringing when Wu Yange suddenly burst in on him.

Sensing Wu Yange's poised gaze, he stopped in his tracks and yelled, "You! ....I must have offended a pack of huskies in my previous lived life, why else would I encounter such as an annoying person such as you!"

Though he was being yelled at, Wu Yange was the least bit offended, in fact, he found it rather amusing as the corners of his lips twitched. The smile soon dispersed when his gaze fell onto shimmering water droplets flowing on Rong Zian's exposed toned chest.

The prince was envious of the water droplets carelessly tracing his sensual chest each time he took a breath gradually disappearing beyond his alluring mermaid line. His ears red, Wu Yange abruptly looked away as he struggled to bring his pounding heart in check. "I will get you another one," he said in a low hoarse voice.

Rong Zian was about to retort when an unexpected scorching azure fireball was aimed in his direction. He was scared stiff and helplessly tried to negotiate with Wu Yange, "Gege, you don't have to be like this, we can discuss this."

He had offended Wu Yange multiple times before but never got this kind of reaction and as he pondered on a means to escape the searing fireball, a thought suddenly flashed by that could explain the extreme reaction. 'Shit I am fucked! He said he could read minds before, did he find out about the dream?' he thought with a pained expression.

Nervously laughing as he desperately tried to hug the biggest thigh pleading, "Your royal highness, surely you can't be this petty. You can't blame me for this, it's not my fault that your appearance is striking."

He unconsciously bit the inner surface of his mouth thinking of flattering words to coax the young prince currently throwing a hissy fit. "With beauty unmatched for generations, how can one not have such scandalous dreams? You are just like a lotus flower blooming on th- Ahhh!"
