Overlord: Ancient One

Chapter 29: The Great Tomb of Nazarick II

It's already been three days since then. After they cleared up all the floors, they have been rewarded with a lot of extremely good things and one of those is the Whole Nazarick itself.

They spend their days inside the Tomb, doing a lot of things and exploring the part of the Tomb that they haven't explored yet.

And also, since they managed to clear the whole Nazarick on their first try, it was considered an achievement. And since it was considered an achievement, they have been rewarded for it.

One of them is a world item called Throne of the Kings.

It is the same Throne that Momonga was sitting on in the canon but now it belongs to Arthur.

They celebrated after all that and officially made the Great Tomb of Nazarick their main Guild base.

The whole Guild had become more excited about their new Guild Base and can't wait anymore to do the things they wanted to do in it, and of course, including Arthur since this is the moment that he was waiting for, ever since he started playing YGGDRASIL.

The moment when he can finally lay out all the things that he planned to do. Everything he's constructing so far can finally take shape and form.

And no one knows how much shaping and forming Arthur is planning to do and with the Friday, God can only cower in fear due to the madness that he is going to create.

🔹🔹🔹

Half a year has passed since the Ainz Ooal Gown captured the Great Tomb of Nazarick. And the first course of action they took was to create a guild weapon for the newly established guild base.

And like the canon, it's a staff, which is weird from the guild mates point of view as Ancient One was a character who is heavily focused on warrior or tank roles so equipping a staff—which is used by mages is weird.

But unlike the canon, the Staff has a {Weapon Change} function, which has the ability to change the weapon according to the user's will. But the downside is that the changed form doesn't have full access to its ability such as elemental summoning etc.

Given that Arthur is a doppelganger this type of guild weapon is perfect for him. Another thing, Arthur showed his {Demon Golem} form to guildmates.

And their reaction is as funny as it can get. And Peroroncino even aimed an arrow at him—this all happened because Arthur showed them his one form, He can't even imagine what is going to happen when they know about his other two characters and his two slots.

And the reason why Arthur showed them his {Demon Golem} is because—if don't show them then there would be so many restrictions when started to edit the whole tomb.

And even Friday said that it's good to show them his {Demon Golem} form as it is the weakest and doesn't have any combat properties.

And another reason is, Arthur can't let Amanomahitotsu and Ulbert have all fun when making the Guild weapon.

🔹🔹🔹

The majority of the members of the Ainz Ooal Gown guild did nothing but spend the rest of their days inside the Nazarick to do what they were planning or doing in it.

Some of them had an ongoing project inside the Tomb, and some are still planning to do something, so whenever they have the time to play the game, the majority of it is just them, being inside the Nazarick.

They go outside sometimes to hunt and find some materials but most of it is just for the sake of them being inside the Nazarick again.

Before conquering this whole Dungeon, the Great Tomb of Nazarick which was originally set to have only six floors, had been reconstructed and stretched to a whopping 11 floors. And the last floor is hidden and only accessible to Arthur.

They also get rid of the stairs that connect each floor as they all see it as, boring and lame, instead, they place teleportation magic/Gate to each floor for convenient transportation.

So, to travel between floors, they made specific points on each floor, where there are open gates that allow magical transit.

One needs to take these gates at specific locations to go level by level if they want to go from a lower floor to an upper floor.

In the Original Timeline, Nazarick was only reconstructed from Six floors to Ten floors. But due to Arthur's presence, it was changed.

But Arthur didn't touch or change anything on the original floors as it was managed by his Guildmates, and there's no practical reason to do that.

But he did intend to make them more powerful than the original version and due to Friday's help, things are going smoothly.

The whole arrangement follows like this.

1st, 2nd and 3rd are called Grave. These floors are the Catacombs. They consist of the subterranean burial chambers where several dozen undead wander around in the darkness.

And the first two floors of Grave are customised by Peroroncino and other guild members but the third floor is customised and edited by both Peroroncino and Arthur.

The 4th floor is called an underground lake. This floor is an underground lake located within a cavern and is customised and edited by Yamaiko, Lucifer and other members of the Guild.

The 5th floor is called Glacier. This floor is a wide area filled with numerous icebergs. Weather phenomena, including clouds and snow, are present here. This floor has an area penalty that caused slow and inflicted ice-type damage. This floor is customised by Warrior Takemikazuchi, Touch Me and Flatfoot.

But Arthur did donate a considerable amount of data crystal and other supplies to increase the damage caused by the ice-type damage.

The 6th floor is called the Jungle. This floor is about 200 meters in height. Created by Blue Planet, a fake sun, as well as a fake sky, exists on the ceiling, reproducing the day and night cycle that changes according to the time of day. This floor also has four seasons and an automatic rain system. This is also the second largest floor in the whole tomb.

The 7th floor is called the Lava. This floor contains crimson lava flowing like a river, with numerous bubbles in these currents bursting as they reach the surface. This place, which is thoroughly inimical to the living, perfectly fits the description of a "Hell World."

This floor is a combined effect of both Ulbert and Arthur. They both went full Chuunibyou on this. And additionally, this floor has an area penalty that causes slow and inflicted fire-type damage.

The 8th floor is called Wilderness. This floor is Nazarick's final defence line of Ainz Ooal Gown. This floor is customised and edited by the greatest members of Ainz Ooal Gown. Namely Punitto Moe—the strategist of the guild, Tabula Smaragdina—The Alchemist and other members.

Arthur even flowed money like water in order to make this floor as deadly as possible and combined with Friday's help, even the air on this floor is poisonous enough for players without counter ability to die on the spot.

The 9th floor is called Royal Suite. This floor contains Guild Members' and NPCs' rooms. It also includes imitations of large communal baths, cafeterias, beauty salons, clothing stores, grocery stores, fitness salons, nail salons, and numerous other types of facility rooms.

The 10th Floor: Throne. This floor contains the throne that the guild master Ancient One sits on. This floor is spacious—even a dragon can easily walk around freely on this floor.

And the last floor is called Chaos. A floor which is personally made by Arthur. This is the largest floor of Nazarick.
