"Pero pero pero~ Kacha~"

The call was answered immediately, but nobody spoke to me from the other side. All I could hear was a subtle breeze and a few voices.

"…"

"…"

I guess I'm going to have to be proactive this time. 

"W-What's the weather like…?"

"…"

Okay, that didn't work. I forgot she's still supposed to be underwater. 

"Gion, this is very awkward, you know? Say something, you know I'm not good with conversations".

"We're enemies now, Veyron... you shouldn't be calling me".

I heard her voice from the other side, even whispering my name as if not to allow anyone to hear it. There she goes, putting her job before everything again. 

"Is this what you want?"

"I didn't decide that, Primrose did… and I understand this is for the best. The closer we are the more your enemies will think they can use me like they did to Hancock, I don't want to be in that position".

I sighed while Sandersonia started giving me some hand signals that I didn't understand; she even made the motion of 'slicing throat' Who is getting killed? I motioned her to stop, and she rolled her eyes. 

I understand where Gion is coming from as that is one of the reasons why I want to stop the girls from sailing too but Gion is not like my other girls, I can't convince her. 

"Then what about us? Are we finished?" I asked reluctantly. 

With Gion, it was always complicated. For her, there is nothing more important than being a marine. She has told me about her previous relationships and they all ended because of the same reason: she couldn't settle down as a marine. And when she had relationships with other marines, they either died or abandoned the organisation; being a marine is a very dangerous job and many didn't have a strong enough character to remain for long. 

I thought after this, she'd want to break apart our ambiguous relationship in which we have shared nothing more than kisses and pints. I'd understand and would accept it. But the answer she gave me was completely different.

"I don't want to end it".

"C-Come again?"

"I-I don't want to end it. I love you, Veyron. But we're enemies. This time, I don't know what to do. You're the man; you tell me what we should do."

"..." I wasn't expecting this sort of answer. To be honest, she put me on the spot.

My solution is to take her with me to Rusukaina, but if I ask her to resign, she'll hang up the call and never speak to me again.

"You know how Prim is; she can get very upset about me. You were in the same room with Kuzan, and Sengoku was in the call. You know she wouldn't show hostility to you like that, Gion. If it is just pretending, we can keep pretending... I don't care".

Our relationship was like Romeo and Juliet in a way. The only person who knew about this from her side was one of her deepest friends, Hina. Other than her, everybody thought she was my nemesis, and she was even 'competing' with Sakazuki to see who would 'hunt' me first. 

"I thought you would ask me to abandon my position as an admiral to be with you".

"O-Of course not! I would never!".

"Okay, maybe I was, but I know how important it is to you, so I would never ask that of you".

I heard giggling from the other side, which was a good sign, "I just said 'I love you' and you haven't told me that you love me back".

"I love you, Gion..."

"That's lacking in emotion. Do I have to beg you to love me?"

'Women...' I groaned inwardly; that's why I'm a bad lover. I can't understand them.

"Of course not, darling. I'm telling you, I love you!"

"I guess you have so many wives that you just can't be bothered, right?"

"Woman, I already said I love you? What else do you want?! A salutation? Greetings to you, Admiral Kuroneko".

"Hehe, that's better~"

"How is that better?!"

"Blow me a kiss through the phone if you love me".

"Wha—how am I supposed to do that?" I looked around me. Shirahoshi was blushing, and Sonia was giggling. These two must be having a laugh inside because Gion is just embarrassing me. 

"I can't do that; I'm with people here... once we meet, I'll kiss you, okay?"

"You can blow me a kiss, but I'll be blowing something else".

"... excuse me?" What did she just say with that seductive voice? I must have heard wrong. 

"I said that it must be difficult for you to live with so many women who love you. It makes me feel a bit jealous and needy sometimes, this whole sharing business".

If it were not for her characteristically mocking tone, I'd believe she's actually jealous, but knowing the character... she doesn't give half a fart.

Gion thinks me having many lovers is 'convenient' as that way I won't be 'bored' when she's not around. 

"Don't be like that; you're not that type of girl, Gion... you're not one to get jealous".

"What are you talking about? Even I can get jealous... I can be jealous of how brazen Primrose is in acknowledging that she's sharing her man with her daughters in front of Kuzan and Sengoku. It makes my reasons look inconsequential in comparison!"

I gulped audibly; Prim actually said that in front of everyone. Well, who cares? They think I have a few mental illnesses. It is only right if my wives have them, too.

"You know we have a few screws loose, don't be surprised".

"Oh, so you finally admit it~."

'You, too, have a few screws loose, Gion' I wouldn't dare say that.

I tried to divert the conversation away from the elephant in the room when it came to my personal relationships: my mom and my mother-in-law. 

"We always knew... and we love it that way. In any case, what's your plan from now on?"

"We're heading to the red port with Aokiji to return half of the national tribute and to get the scolding of my life thanks to you, probably".

"I didn't give you back the log pose of Dressrosa... also, where is your speedboat?" I frowned, if she's in Kuzan's ship that means she's not driving the boat I made for her.

"I-I have the boat with me... don't worry, it is in the warship's hangar" She answered, a tad nervous as she knows I don't like when my inventions are 'mistreated' especially theirs since I put a lot of love in everything I do for them.

"As for the log pose, you can give it back to me later; it doesn't matter... you're going to make that up to me".

"Huh? How?"

"After you finish your little 'promise'. Come to me, okay?".

I resisted the urge to lick my lips and looked sideways like a guilty little lamb, only to see how my sins were widely exposed to my giggling wife and the gossiping mermaid; there were no secrets here.

"And what exactly are we going to do?"

I heard some rustling from the other side and a door shut, she whispered with a heated breath I could almost feel from the other side of the den den mushi.

"I'm going to f*ck you. Like that, or should I be more clear?~".

"Gion..."

This woman has no brakes! I had to cover the den den mushi to make sure Shirahoshi didn't hear that, sadly for me, she did hear... thankfully, she didn't seem to understand what that word even meant. Meanwhile, Sandersonia was laughing silently, covering her mouth. 

To protect Shirahoshi's purity, I had to make a sound-isolating barrier. A pout of outrage was her answer, but everything was for the sake of her ears. 

"I have to go... but you better get all the experience you can with those girls before coming to me. It would be a pity if you can't keep up".

Why does she sound like a boastful last boss? damn now she has risen my expectations and also she reminded me once more that the 'time' is about to come... when the girls come back from Dressrosa and Wano, we're going to be together for a while... and there is going to be that 'type' of mood. 

"Don't you think you're being too blunt? What if I fly there now and do you right there where you are?" If I don't show the fangs, she's going to think I'm a p*ssy.

"Do me right here?~ Come then, come and do me, brat... hurry up,".

"..."

"Do you dare break the promise with your dearest mommy for me?~ I'm in my private cabin right now. I got rid of my coat, I got rid of my shirt, I got rid of my skirt-"

"Stop!-"

This woman wants to get us beheaded, poisoned and crushed! I didn't even need to turn around to find out that Sonia wasn't happy if she were to record this and send it to Mom...

She was looking at my crotch with such intensity. It can't be helped if Gion teases me like that. 

"You see, little star, that is-" Sandersonia began.

"Don't tell her yet, Sonia!".

A/N: Hey guys, I'm the author. I just wanted to tell you to feel free to go see a new book I'm working on slowly. I don't have a definite schedule yet. 

It is called Marvel: The Multiversal Brawl. A sort of multiversal contest where MC has to fight other powerful beings to win the tournament. Either he invades their world, or they invade MC's world. That is what it is in simple terms. 

As you can imagine, MC's world is Marvel; he's Tony Stark's illegitimate son.

It is mostly focused on the Avengers' side, although there is some X-MEN influence in it, too. Both are quite difficult to mix in the same timeline.
