The other three followed and clapped as well.

“Oh, oh, Hyoyoung Ahn!”

“You are so amazing! Impressive! Wow!”

“How could this be…? Perhaps the concussion you suffered many years ago made you a genius?”

“Miss Hyoyoung, you are so awesome.”

Hyoyoung looked around shyly and replied, “Whatever. Just do the concert, ok? I want to go with Mikyung.”

“Alright. We will get right to it.”

The M members immediately started on it; Hyunsuk disappeared, claiming that he was going to call their CEO. Jiwoo and Hyojun sat down at the table to begin working on the concert repertory.

Hyoyoung walked out to the garden and let her hair down. She had been feeling tense, but now she was starting to feel much better. Her hair cascaded smoothly down to her shoulders.

The plan she came up with took a long time. She thought of it on the way home from the café after the fight with Mikyung. At first, she secretly feared that the guys wouldn’t listen to her, and she also worried about how hard it would be to arrange a concert.

However, things went much smoother than she expected, and now Hyoyoung felt like she could finally breathe.

“Phew…”

Kiwook followed her from behind and whispered, “Miss Hyoyoung.”

“AHHH!”

“Well, at least your scream wasn’t as loud this time.”

“You need to wear a bell or something around your neck; you scared me again.”

“You better get used to me, because I’ll be following you everywhere from now on.”

“Hey, we are at home now. Let’s keep this clean.”

“I am just being affectionate. There shouldn’t be any limitations to my PDA.”

“PDA…”

“What? You don’t like it?”

“No, it’s just… I guess I feel embarrassed. Hahahaha.”

“Why would you be embarrassed? You already kissed me before, remember?”

“OMG, not so loud! Be quiet, or someone’s gonna hear you!”

“Who cares if they hear me? I would love to shout it out from the rooftop!”

“Hey…”

“I won’t. You know I won’t do anything like that. But whenever I feel the urge to do it… maybe I can signal you somehow.”

“You are being childish.”

“True love means you don’t mind being childish or ridiculous. If I can make you laugh, I am willing to do anything. Our love will deepen the more we laugh together.”

“HAHAHAHA. Sure, love. Sure.”

“I will call for you.”

“Pardon?”

“With a kiss.”

“… What?”

Hyoyoung blushed as Kiwook looked down at her lovingly. He pinched her cheek, caressed it, then leaned forward to whisper, “Whenever I say the first syllable of your name, Hyo, my lips pucker like I’m about to kiss you. So, think of it that way. When I call your name, I am thinking about kissing you. I… I like you a lot.”

Hyoyoung froze. Her head blanked and her vision blurred. She couldn’t think clearly. She couldn’t see clearly either, except for Kiwook. His face was the only thing she could see.

Especially his smooth lips.

“Hyo.”

Her eyes zoomed onto his lips as they puckered.

He said he liked her a lot.

Hyoyoung blinked and suddenly realized that Kiwook had stepped back and was smiling at her. Under the moonlight, he looked gorgeous, and the way he looked at her made her feel beautiful.

He continued to curl his lips as if to say the first syllable of her name.

Hyo.

He didn’t make a sound. All he did was move his lips, but it was enough to make her heart beat crazily.

Hyoyoung thought to herself, ‘Come on, heart! Stop beating so fast! I’m gonna have a heart attack at this rate.’

Hyoyoung grabbed her heart as Kiwook walked towards her and kissed her cheek.

“Hyo… you are so adorable. When you look at me like that, you make me go crazy.”

The next day, which was Sunday, Hyoyoung slept very late into the afternoon. She had a long tiring week, so no matter how hard they tried to wake her up, she continued to snooze soundly.

“Let’s just let her sleep for a while longer.”

After trying to wake her up for breakfast twice, Hyojun shook his head and finally gave up. He explained, “If I try it one more time, she is gonna kick me again so hard that I’m going to get hurt badly.”

He rubbed his shoulder where Hyoyoung already kicked him once.

The four guys sat at the table and went back to work; there was still a lot to do to get ready for the concert. Hyunsuk announced, “The boss did sound shocked, but he was fine with it. He said that he was planning to hold our fan meeting in a pretty big place anyway, so his budget for it was significant. He said he just needs to add a little bit more to make it into a concert.”

This meant that it was okay with the CEO, so the concert was officially on.

The next was to discuss the concert repertory.

“Let’s pick a theme first. How about The M’s first greeting?’”

“Ok, then let’s divide the concert into three parts.”

“How?”

“Mystery, Mister, and Maestro. What do you guys think?”

“Oh, that sounds good. This is going really well.”

“So, first would be Mystery. Let’s make it magical. We will pop out from nowhere like a magic show. And we will play our music as we do this part.”

“And then, for Mister… this section, we should do individual shows. Hyojun, you can do a hip-hop dance choreography; Jiwoo can play an instrument; Hyunsuk can sing, and I… I will come up with something. Probably singing and performance.”

“What? You are going to come up with ‘something?’ That sounds suspicious.”

“Oh, come on. Trust me. Oh, and also for the Mister section, we should have a separate theme for each member. Hyojun can be the strong mister, Jiwoo the sensitive, Hyunsuk the determined, and I can be the romantic.”

“Hey! You can’t use the concert for your own personal purpose!”

“I’m not. I’m just saying that we should customize it for each member.”

“Well, I guess it’s a good idea. And what about the Maestro part?”

“We will focus on dance for that section. Group and individual dances.”

“Ok, got it. And are we going to invite a guest for the Maestro part?”

“Why don’t we not do any guest appearances for this show? We should just focus on The M.”

“And where will we hold this concert?”

“Oh, the boss said he can get Junseul Gymnasium. It should be able to hold about 15,000 fans.”

“When is the date?”

“About a month from now. Boss wanted to do a four-day concert, but we ended up deciding on a one-day concert to make it impactful.”

“Good. I don’t think we have enough time to prepare for a four-day concert.”

“Should we add a talk-time somewhere in the middle of the show?”

“Let’s keep the talking to a minimum and concentrate on performing. Singing and dancing. We can include a greeting video during the intro section or at the end. What do you think?”

“Like we are writing a letter to the fans?”

“Good idea. You should do this part, Kiwook.”

“Me? Why?”

“Why? Because you are the one who is in love right now. You are the best person among us to write a good letter.”

“Stop that…”

Kiwook looked around awkwardly as Hyojun glanced at him. Hyojun looked like he wanted to say something, but he remained quiet. It was about to become tense when Hyunsuk announced brightly, “The concert will be sponsored by Shuineung Group from China.”

“What? Isn’t that one of the top three entertainment companies in China?”
