My Adopted Family

57. Drunken Mom and Cali

The meal that day continued until late.

Perhaps because there were two famous actresses, the service provided at the restaurant was endless, and surprisingly, the amount of alcohol these actresses drank was no joke.

As I don't drink alcohol, I was busy grilling meat, putting it on a plate, and filling up my empty glass while occasionally chiming in with the story.

"That director is shit, One day I'm going to rip out all his hair."

"Teacher, same here, I also want to do that but I heard that guy use wig, he didn't have hair at all."

The drunk mother seemed to be in a good mood. She repeatedly clinked her drink glass with her co-star Calista.

Calista did not lose there, either. Even when she was drunk and very drowsy, she was still going on drinking and drinking.

Considering her weak physique, I did not expect her to be a very strong drinker.

"Ms. Calista, aren't you drinking too much?"

I asked, pouring plum wine back into the two glasses that were empty in an instant.

At the edge of the table, there was a long line of empty plum wine bottles that the two actresses drank.

Is it possible for so much alcohol to fit into such a thin body?

I slowly started to get worried.

"Mr. Ryker…"

"Yes?"

"I feel so awkward hearing you call me ms. Calista, Are you doing this on purpose?"

Calista opens her eyes and asks.

"Sorry. But isn't that how a politely people call each other, and your also calling me Mr."

"Don't wprry about politeness, just call me what teacher call me. It more comfortable for me."

"Oh, okay. Then I'll call you Cali."

"Cali, yeah… thats good…."

Calista smiled and opened another bottle, and I took the bottle and filled her glass again without thinking.

"Mr. Ryker. You don't like women who drink a lot, right?"

Calista asks that question and drinks it down as soon as the glass is filled.

Looking at this question, it seems like she surprisingly likes alcohol.

"No, that's not case, I don't like it because I'm worried. I'm afraid drunken woman won't be able to find her house and might end up somehere else or get into trouble."

I could take my mom with me even if she was a little drunk, but it was difficult for Cali.

I don't know if she brought the car, but I felt uneasy about sending her in the car when she was this drunk, and I couldn't just throw her in taxi.

"Oh, so your worried about me and teacher for this reason, well then how about you take me my home or your home for sleep."

"I have to take my mom with me."

It was a dangerous statement that could have been considered sexual harassment if the men and women were reversed. I smiled bitterly and ignored her words.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Ryker, you have your mother to take care."

"I'm also sorry Rye, to get you into this, I think you don't need to listen your mother, sorry Cali."

"Why? What's up all of sudden?"

Even though she seemed fine, she seemed to be drunk. She looked up at me.

"Well, it's stupid if I think about it. Just because I told to love or something like that doesn't mean you can suddenly do it, right?"

"Right, Hehehe, hehehehe."

Cali laughed while holding her empty glass, wondering what was so funny. Her smiling face looked much more human.

"Why are laughing Cali?"

"Yes? Me?"

She put down her drink and looked up at me with her chin resting. For some reason, the look in her eyes was different from before.

"Hm... Mr. Ryker, should we date? Ah, in the same sense as the practice I mentioned earlier."

"Huh?"

"I have a lot of money. There is also a building in high city. It price risen a lot and will continue to rise."

"Oh, yes. Congratulations." I don't know why she suddenly said this, but congratulations.

"Haha, aren't this like lonely lady trying to trick innocent boy with money. Hehe, how bad woman I'm."

Calista mocked herself and drank again. It was obvious she was drunk.

She seemed fine until a moment ago, but the person changed in an instant as if a switch had been pressed.

When I looked at my mom asking for help, she was looking at the two of us with happy eyes. Was there anything to be happy about in this situation?

"Cali. I think you're very drunk. Please get up. Mom too."

"Mr. Ryker."

Calista grabbed my hand as I tried to stand up first. Her grip strength was strong compared to the small size of her hands.

The eyes looking up at me were shaking.

As I was trying to get up, I hesitated and had to sit back down.

"All right. You think love thing we thought might not work since it's not sincere, right?"

"Yes?"

"Then what should I do?"

I still couldn't follow the flow of the story.

My mother intervened instead of me, who was embarrassed.

"It's okay, even if it's not love, you will build affection if you two meet more in future and talk each other, I'm sure you will like Rye."

Hey, is she setting up a girlfriend for me or what?

"Hm... that how it is, so what fee of helping me?"

Fee, hey, just meeting me and for rehearsal, are she going to give me money?

"Hey, I don't think there need for that."

"Yes. i know. I guess so. Once a week, 2 million per meeting. Is that okay?"

"Cali?"

I said no, and she is still pushing it, which I don't understand. Are you willing to pay to meet me?

Even if she believed and followed what my mom said, would she usually do something like this?

Moreover, the amount is too large. Maybe her economic sense was ruined because she was making too much money.

"Let's talk about money later when we are sober. Your so drunk today, so let's get up." I said.

First, let's get out of here.

"Huh, you think it's not enough... then..."

"Oh really! Okay, let's get up quickly! Mommy, don't just smile!

Cali, who was becoming more and more broken, was forced to stand up. And my mom was laughing her ass off, looking at us. Just what was so funny she found.

This is not what I came here for.
