After a while, even Ranel went to assist Avelie. So, there I was, sitting in the room, feeling as bored as a cat in a cardboard box. Glancing around, my eyes landed on a shelf packed with books about magic. It seemed like the perfect remedy for my boredom.

Thanks to my high intelligence stat, I managed to devour nearly half of the books, which numbered around twenty, in just about twenty-five minutes. Among them, I stumbled upon some interesting facts about the magic tower I found myself in. Apparently, this tower specializes in two rare types of magic: space and fire magic. Quite an uncommon combination, I must say.

As if on cue, I heard a bell ringing.

Feeling flabbergasted by the sudden queue of rewards, I found myself in a momentary daze. This is the first time I received anything other than EXP from the system, and what's more, I even unlocked a new feature.

"Wow, this is amazing," I muttered. "Let's take a look at these mana stones."

I focused on the rank C light attribute mana stone first, imagining it appearing in my hand. Instantly, a small, glowing stone materialized in my palm. It radiated a soft, soothing light, filling me with a warm sensation.

"This is a light attribute mana stone," I said to myself, examining its smooth surface. "Let's see the others."

Next, I imagined the rank B dark attribute mana stone. This one appeared darker, with a faint aura of shadows swirling around it. Holding it felt like holding a piece of the night itself, its surface cold and its power mysterious and intriguing.

Finally, I summoned the rank A fire attribute mana stone. It was vibrant, pulsing with energy and heat. The stone glowed a fierce red, almost as if a tiny flame was trapped inside it. I almost burned my hand when I held it, feeling the hot surface. I instantly threw the mana stone back in the inventory.

"These are incredible," I whispered, feeling the raw power of each stone. "Now, let's check my status."

"Wait a second, where are the skills, system? Are you scamming me?" I said, noticing the skills were missing.
