NOVEL FROG Chapter -02.
Chapter -2.
Theodore couldn't believe his eyes as Bellatrix suddenly materialized in front of him. Despite summoning her for her power, he found himself wavering at the sight of her.
Ding.. The host is congratulated for successfully summoning character Bellatrix Black [Age: 23].
Ding.. As the character has a strong inclination towards dark magic, the host's affinity for dark magic has significantly amplified.
"Hoh, seeing such a beauty, who could tell she had a strong inclination towards dark magic." Theodore took a step back as he didn't know what Bellatrix, whose eyes still had a blank look in them, would do when she regained her consciousness..
As he fretted about it, a different system prompt unexpectedly popped up above Bellatrix's head, revealing all her details.
The details included:
- Name: Bellatrix Lastrange [* Cancle Summon]
- Summoner: Theodore Green (Master)
- Favourability : 25 [will listen to your explanation with great interest and consider it from a new perspective.]
"Whew, at least she's 25 points favourabilty toward, so she won't launch herself at me as soon as she regains consciousness," Theodore thought, feeling reassured by the system. He breathed a sigh of relief and waited for Bellatrix to wake up, which she did after keeping him waiting for a few more minutes.
"Where am I?" Bellatrix asked as she regained consciousness and saw Theodore standing in front of her. Startled, she jumped back.
"Calm down, you're in my house." Theodore explained the circumstances and remained at his place so as not to provoke her defending response.
Bellatrix's brows furrowed as she heard that, and she looked around the house once more before asking, "Your house? But why am I here? Perhaps you summoned me here with some sort of black sorcery. But more importantly, aren't you a wizard? Why does your house look like this?"
"What do you mean 'look like this?', what are you? A cleanliness freak or something?" Theodore was surprised, he had thought the Yandere would inquire about her husband, perhaps tom or something like that, but seeing her concerned about the mess he had made in his own home made him a little annoyed. It's his own home, can't he just live in his own home as he pleases; and most importantly why would a Death Eater be concerned about cleanliness.
"What? Cleanliness freak? How dare you say such words to me?" Bellatrix clenched her fists in anger upon hearing these words and immediately started looking for her wand, in her twenty three years of life she had never allowed anyone to say such harsh words to her except her crazy parents who always try to play with her mind.
Meanwhile, Theodore finally calmed down after his sudden outburst and looked at the woman in confusion and asked, "What are you looking for?"
"Of course, I'm looking for my wand, to teach you a lesson for daring to speak to me in that tone." Bellatrix replied in a proud tone, it was just a matter of finding her wand and then she was definitely going to do what she said, because of course she was proud of her duelling abilities.
Hearing this, Theodore didn't know if he should laugh or cry, because he was a hundred percent sure that she didn't have a wand. So keeping this in mind, he said, "Sure, I'll sit on my bed and wait." And the next moment he literally fell on the bed and started staring and mocking her.
"Ugh.." Gritting her teeth in anger, she searched even harder for her wand, but in the end she found nothing, not even her little diary that she kept to write about her beloved, her mind clouded with confusion, she finally walked up to Theodore with angry steps, and asked, "Where is this place? I want to go home."
seeing the man in front of him uneffected by the threats she had made, she had already realised that something was wrong here as there was no way, someone looking at her would not recognise her and respect or fear her. finding the man in front of even more strange then her beloved all she wanted to was get out of this predicament without much of the trouble; and if she couldn't she still had a last resort that was to call out her beloved name, since he had said that he would definitely appear in front of her.
Hearing the word "home" come out of Bellatrix's mouth, Theodore stood up from the bed with a serious look in his eyes, until now he had thought that he was watching a great show, but hearing that phrase come out of her mouth, he felt that if he could not answer Bellatrix's questions correctly then things would not go the way he wanted, he might even have to cancel his summoning, and if that happened then he would find himself in a lot of trouble when trying to summon her back.
Because from then on she will be hostile to him the moment he appears in front of her, and he won't even get a second chance to explain himself properly.
"Home? You're standing in one right now; and if you're talking about Lastrange Manor, you're in for a fun ride because what you'll hear from me from now on might sound weird to you, but it's the truth." Theodore was worried about bellatrix reaction, but he still chose the direct route, although he didn't want to do so at first but then he remembered what the system said about Bellatrix and how she would listen to his explanations calmly until the end.
"So you know who I am; and here I was thinking you don't know me so you're treating me like this. Anyway I'm fully prepared for whatever you're going to tell me, just say it all." Bellatrix finally heaved a sigh of relief, because the man in front of her at least knew her, which meant she was safe for now; but she still didn't realize what exactly this man wanted from her.
