As Reinhardt chuckled at Alfonso’s plan of removing his ability to see, he was curious how Alfonso would be able to see him or locate his locations. Since he blocked his mana, Alfonso won’t be able to detect him through the use of sensing mana around the area.

<I thought his class was only a swordsman… But a mage swordsman huh…> Reinhardt then inwardly muttered.

However, while he was grinning he suddenly felt his whole body shriek in danger when he heard a terrifying sound of a rock flying toward him with an incredible speed. In that instant, he quickly gripped his sword and vertically swung it with precision toward the rock.

BANG!!!

Reinhardt who just barely sliced the rock was then left speechless.

<What the… fuck?>

He inwardly cursed, that just now was dangerous and if he didn’t slice it at that moment, he was sure that he could have been severely injured even though he was past the rank of the mortal realm especially since he lowered his rank and blocked his mana.

<Was that an Earth Elemental? Is it even possible to control it with that speed?>

Reinhardt reminisced because as far as he knew being able to move a rock using Earth Elemental with that kind of terrifying speed was impossible nor did he witness anyone do it from how many people he had fought and killed. He then soon came to realize that maybe Alfonso is just different and a prodigy when it comes to magic.

<Perhaps the reason why I was not able to see his potential was that I only judged him for his swordsmanship when he was younger but not his ability in magic>

Soon he then hears multiple terrifying rocks flying towards him making him grip his sword tightly as he horizontally slashed another boulder while dodging the other rocks. However, as he finished slashing and dodging those rocks, hundreds of rocks with the same velocity as before emerged out of Reinhardt’s eyes making him gulp his saliva in the process.

<This is dangerous>

Reinhardt inwardly uttered and prepared himself for the upcoming attacks. He then moved his right foot in front to create momentum in slashing the rocks while at the same time creating a destructible force of wind just from his strength alone. His hand that’s enhanced from thousands of battles started bulging out of muscles as a horrifying gust of wind of his slash followed. Which momentarily slowed down some rocks. But that itself was enough to be in Rinhardt’s range to slash them.

BOOOMMMM!!!!

【HEROESare people who were chosen by Gods and had an incredible amount of strength and all affinity for elements. They are the people who defy human limitations, however, there are also people who are similar to those so-called Heroes but cannot use elemental abilities or magic because of the gift they were given.

In this world where Gods exist, they gift you superhuman abilities. One of those chosen children who are named 'GOD'S FORTUNE' is no other but Reinhardt. Even without mana, his strength is comparable to that of an Orc… No, to be precise it’s belittling Reinhardt’s strength that way. His strength could be considered right now as 3 ORCS combined. With a strength that surpasses human capabilities because of God’s blessing on him, called ‘𝕭𝕰𝕽𝕾𝕰𝕽𝕶’. A gift that could par and even defeat heroes shook the earth because of the impact he caused from the shattered boulders that flew toward him.

BAAAAMMMM!!!!

This was the reason why Reinhardt was called the God of War when he stepped on a battlefield while making thousands of men tremble from his presence alone. Meanwhile, Alfonso, who heard the rocks he flew get destroyed in an instant clicked his tongue in irritation as he braced himself from the wind that caused some of the dust that covered Reinhardt’s line of sight to squall around the arena.

<This is bad… Fighting one of the strongest characters in the game is seriously hard>

Alfonso, however, continued to crush rocks, creating more dust, and launching other stones in the direction of Reinhardt. Even if Reinhardt tried his best, the dust would never dissipate. Instead of swinging his blade mindlessly to generate additional wind, he ceased swinging as he shut his eyes and relied on his hearing to pinpoint where Alfonso was hiding.

Suddenly, the red-haired man’s eyes then opened as his brown eyes shined through, looking at a figure at his back.

“GOTCHA!” he silently muttered and at the same time covered his sword with sword aura before bolting towards a figure at his back.

BANG!!!

A loud sound of his sword smashing something echoed, only to realize that a human figure of a rock was what he just attacked. Realizing this, Reinhardt quickly composed himself. However, a rock soon came flying towards his face like lightning.

He then clenched the grip of his sword, making a move, in an instant his sword aura drew multiple trajectories because of his speed, making it difficult to discern which was the real attack as he blocked and obliterated every rock and boulder that came toward him from top to bottom and left to right like a machine.

But his efforts were rendered ineffective because how the rocks that came flying toward him didn’t even halt nor decrease. However, while Reinhardt was distracted from destroying every rock, a boy suddenly bolted toward him his sword shining from his red aura. If one looked at the scene from afar, it was like watching a kid charging toward a giant.

Reinhardt was taken aback by Alfonso’s sudden appearance making him hastily perform his footwork in order to dodge the sword that was aimed at his neck. In return, his chest was badly smashed by a huge boulder. Making him stagger as he dodged Alfonso’s right sword trajectory. However, the boy didn’t give him a chance to regain his composure, his crimson eyes that gazed at him gave Reinhardt a chill running down his spine, because they were the eyes of someone who are used to killing people. The way he moved and how the boy only targeted his vital points made him question himself if Alfonso is genuinely only just a boy. He is surprised because after all, the Alfonso that he remembers is someone who didn’t even wield a sword but just a deadbeat.

Comparing his size to the boy, the boy was only 5’6 while he was 7, making it harder for Alfonso to target his neck, yet for some reason, his agile movements were enough to reach for his vital spots and neck.

Nonetheless that itself was not enough to defeat Reinhardt, he soon retrieved his composure as his sword began shining brilliantly with a blue aura.

Startled, Alfonso who was in the middle of horizontally slashing Reinhardt suddenly felt his whole body shriek in danger. However before he could see it, a terrifying vertical sword trajectory came running down at his face. In spite of that, the boy only inwardly chuckled, because he have expected how Reinhardt would move. Especially since he played and fought Reinhardt in the game a thousand times in his past life and has already memorized his attack pattern.

In that instant, Alfonso silently muttered inside his head to increase his speed and strength using 50 points each. With that, he was able to parry the attack that Reinhardt gave his all.

𝕂𝔸𝔹𝔸ℕ𝔾!!!

Even so, The red-haired man once again bulged every ounce of his muscle in order to continue his other attack, even though he felt speechless from how Alfonso was able to predict his attack earlier.

FWOOSH!

As Reinhardt was about to hit Alfonso with his sword, the boy twisted his body while stepping right as he sacrificed his left arm to block his attack, which resulted in him making a chilling noise of his bones breaking apart.

CRACK!!!

Reinhardt who watched the scenes unfold right in front of him widened his eyes as he felt bombshell by what Alfonso did.

<What the fuck?>

In fact, because of how unexpected it was, that crucial moment was what broke Reinhardt’s momentum. That window of opportunity was not missed by Alfonso, however, in an instant, Alfonso changed his sword’s trajectory and aimed at his neck once again.

Feeling the gust of wind coming toward Reinhardt’s face he couldn’t do anything to block the attack. Resolving himself from the impact, he could only blankly stare at the sword.

However, his body suddenly began to engulf with mana as did with his sword, in a blink of an eye, Reinhardt smashed Alfonso’s weapon and obliterated the mana that surrounded his sword. His movement was not even caught sight by Alfonso nor the audience who watched them because of how fast he was.

“…”

The two then stared at each other for a prolonged period of time. But not a single moment did the deadpan face of Alfonso change even though the excruciating pain of his broken shoulder and wrist because of the sudden impact was eating him inside, stopping the urge to even curse because of his perfectionism. Meanwhile, Reinhardt’s mouth was left agape and dumbfounded by the boy. Leaving him with no choice but to slowly gulp his saliva.

SILENCE…

Soon the red-haired man chuckled, “I lost, I used mana”.

Shocked by the outcome, the people who were watching were momentarily stunned before they could let out a shout of admiration.

“—Woah! Holy shit”

“—He really defeated that monster?”

As cheers illuminated every corner, one little girl stared at the arena in a daze, <I knew that Lord brother is exceptional but… to defeat someone like him?>

“A-Amazing!” Alice uttered as she reminisced and felt proud of Alfonso that his hard work paid off. Just remembering how he went through some hellish training like breaking his bones left her feeling some shiver down her throat, which made it more rewarding to see Alfonso harvest the fruit he had grown.

However, she quickly stood up from her seat when she noticed the pale appearance of Alfonso who just silently stood there. “Lord brother,” she said as her foot ran toward him.

Meanwhile, Reinhardt who admitted his defeat called for healers as he looked at Alfonso and spoke, “I’ve never seen someone fight like a mad lad at your age. Well, this battle is still my loss though, I have to keep my promise.” Before chuckling. However, Alfonso only stayed indifferent and shortly responded, “Sure,” before shrugging his shoulder and wrist that was healed by the healers. Reinhardt planned to ask Alfonso what he wanted in return for defeating him but before he could continue and ask him to retrieve his award, a girl suddenly interrupted them.

“Lord Brother, are you okay?”

As the petite girl approached him, the boy quickly responded, “I am, don’t worry.”

Watching the two though, Reinhardt was baffled to see how close they were.

<I heard that the girl was a slave… Doesn’t he hate such people though?>

Reinhardt muttered inside his head as he watched the two in silence. He could not stop but be continuously surprised by Alfonso.

<I guess the rumours about him changing were…. true… huh… But to this extent…>
