Darkan's gaze seemed somewhat crazed, even among the high elves, as he exclaimed, "What I have lost, I will surely regain! The Lord will reward me! You corrupt councilors, holding onto the resources of Silvermoon City and denying us commoners a way to survive, well, then I won't let you survive either!"

In the human kingdom, being a Magister would earn one a title and a carefree life. However, in Silvermoon City, it was a different story. Magic was what they taught humans, giving them a sense of superiority.

Long-standing tensions erupted in this moment, resulting in astonishing consequences. Who would have thought that a Magister who had served at Sunwell would turn traitor?

In the northern seas, a Naga priestess reported to Vashj, "My Queen, the Tide Rune Stone has been successfully marked."

"Cast the spell! Attack Sunwell! Let the traitors know the cost of betrayal! For Queen Azshara!" Vashj's voice rang out sharply, instilling fervor in the Naga priestesses. To all Naga, Queen Azshara was the supreme being.

Even though transformed from upper elves to Naga, she remained their queen, the pinnacle queen.

Numerous Naga priestesses began casting magic to power the spells. Such large-scale magic, especially when cast by multiple individuals, requires precise control to avoid failure.

Vashj lowered her bow, her six arms reaching towards the sky, quietly gathering magical energy.

Guiding Arcane energy to swirl, the once clear sky overcast with clouds, occasional flashes of lightning streaking through.

Thunder serpents writhed in the clouds, accompanied by rumbling thunder and flickering lightning.

Such an unusual phenomenon naturally caught the attention of the troops stationed at Sunwell. The captain relayed this information to a responsible member of the Silvermoon Council.

The response was met with disdain, as the defense of Sunwell was deemed impenetrable.

While Naga attacks were not uncommon in the past, they had never been able to breach Sunwell's defenses besides leaving behind corpses. They were confident in their ability to withstand any level of magic.

Outside Silvermoon City, the sound of battle reverberated, drums beating in unison.

Orc riders on kodo beasts pounded war drums, empowered by unique blessings from orc shamans to boost their attacks significantly. Arrows rained down, magic missiles clashed in the air.

With the addition of a cannibalistic mage to the tribe, their ranged firepower could now keep up. Coupled with unique catapults, each launch could hurl a two hundred-pound boulder from a kilometer away.

The exaggerated range often caused great trouble for the defensive Hunter troops, dodging arrows and spears from below while guarding against giant stones possibly falling from the sky. They also had to confront orc soldiers climbing the walls, all while protecting mages, leaving them exhausted.

Blood splattered, limbs and entrails littered the ground, Elves and orcs alike. Every high elf fought to the death to defend their last stronghold, with no room for retreat.

Despite their fierce resistance, they repelled another wave of attacks. Meanwhile, mages in the rear continued to weave spells, requiring them to persevere.

However, as the previous wave of orcs withdrew, another wave surged forward again.

The relentless orc soldiers, driven by the effects of the blood of demons, stood firm in the face of multiple arrows piercing their bodies, brandishing blood-soaked blades. Even the brave Hunter soldiers felt a chill at the sight.

"Lok' tar!"

"For the Horde!"

The ferocious orc soldiers, already rampaging, became even more savage, even infecting the trolls, who turned extremely frenzied. Even when cut down, they sought to replace each fallen Elven warrior.

Faced with suddenly frenzied orc soldiers, the Elven assault faltered, showing signs of collapse.

At that moment, a flaming projectile descended from the sky, striking the ground with a comet's tail.

The massive fireball consumed a vast area in front of the city walls, setting it ablaze along with the distant cannibal mages casting spells and siege engines.

"Ah!"

The taste of burning flames was unbearable, and post-fervor, the orcs were filled with extreme fear. They struggled on the ground, unable to extinguish the flames, only able to watch as the fire consumed them.

The smell of roasting flesh filled the air, even Orgrim couldn't hide his disgust, swearing off roasted meat forever.

"It's magic!"

"Silvermoon City will prevail!"

"For Quel'Thalas!"

The dejected Elven forces rallied once more. Seizing the opportunity while the orcs were dazed by magic, they fiercely counterattacked, driving all the orcs off the city walls. Staying up meant certain death, going down meant burning to death.

A long stretch of flames separated them, making retreat impossible.

Orgrim, furious, grabbed Guldan by the collar. "Release a spell to put out the fire!"

"Sorry, Warchief, I can't do that."

Guldan, feeling Orgrim's murderous intent, hastily proposed, "But I have a plan. We can use magic to redirect the flames back at the Elves, engulfing them in a blaze. This will breach the city walls!"

Orgrim's eyes lit up. Though it meant sacrificing a clan's lives, he deemed it worthy for victory in war. "Then cast the spell quickly. If you fail, I'll crush you into pulp!" He hurled the hefty Guldan to the ground.

The two-headed cannibal mages, together with troll witch doctors, channeled spells. Utilizing elemental winds, they directed the fire towards the city walls, engulfing the attacking orcs and high elves in flames.

"Ah!" The collective screams filled the air. The burning agony, scorching heat, and suffocating environment induced a sense of despair and fear in all.

Just then, the previously aiding magic towers suddenly dimmed, diminishing the quantity and power of Arcane missiles, rendering them almost ineffective against the orcs.
