I play as a beast in World of Warcraft

Chapter 12 Deathwing

"Do you really have a way, younger brother?" Calia leaned affectionately against Arthas. As a woman, she had no way to resist. The fate of a royal princess was just like this.

Except for a few who could control their own destiny, most were just tools for political marriages.

"Of course, I have a way. Trust me. I will go find Father and take care of it. You go back and rest. With me around, everything will be fine. I love you, Calia." Arthas kissed Calia's forehead, the smooth touch making his heart race a bit.

The sixteen-year-old girl was ripe for the taking. If the timing had been right, he might not have been able to restrain himself.

Arthas, though lustful, knew when to act and when not to.

If he had taken Calia, it wouldn't have been a big deal. Even if discovered, it would only lead to Terenas marrying Calia off early to protect the royal family's reputation, which wouldn't be a good outcome for Arthas and Calia.

Unlike Aunt Ashvane, who could have unlimited internal ejaculations, even if pregnant, Calia's pregnancy wouldn't be acceptable and couldn't be hidden.

Entering Terenas's study, Arthas already had a plan in mind. He could use the holy light to deceive and even put on a performance to make Terenas believe him. Pushing open the door, he was surprised to find someone else inside.

A stranger, a Duke with a sturdy yet refined demeanor, exuded a gentle aura that was welcoming and devoid of malice. Arthas, however, became wary, solely because he could see the man's name prominently displayed above his head.

"Duke Daval Presto (Deathwing)."

Who was Deathwing? One of the five Dragon Aspects. A traitor who nearly wiped out the Blue Dragonflight due to a sudden madness that led him to attack his own kind. Skilled in using schemes to cause chaos, his goal was to dismantle any resistance against him and destroy the entire planet.

"Arthas, you came just in time. This man is Presto Duke, Lord of the Kingdom of Alterac.Mr. Duke, this is my son Arthas. "

Terenas was proud to introduce his son, having high hopes for his performance.

"Father, I need Calia's help.
She and I are both holy light's darlings, and holy light guides me. I want to ask you not to marry Calia to someone else.
At least I think I will need her help for a long time. With her help, I believe I can try to reach the demigod realm. "Arthas stated calmly and straightforwardly.

Mortal beings are honed through challenges, levels are merely a representation of experience, and skills require levels. The levels range from ordinary, hero, to demigod, with demigods being the pinnacle of combat prowess.

Are there human demigods? Yes, there are, like the Guardian Aegwynn, who lived for centuries and was powerful enough to slay the Burning Legion's leader's avatar.

Terenas's eyes narrowed as he rebuked, "Nonsense!"

On the contrary, Deathwing looked at the young prince with interest, and the prince returned the gaze playfully.

This intrigued Deathwing; this human was quite interesting. "Your Royal Highness, do you know what a demigod is?"

"A demigod's soul is bound to the world, possessing the ability to resurrect. Their strength may not always be great, but they are certainly long-lived." Arthas vaguely replied, thinking to himself that the dragon seemed to know more than he let on.

"Haha, Your Royal Highness, do you know what guidance the Holy Light has given you?" Deathwing's smile remained gentle, concealing his true identity.

"Lord Duke, if you wish to chat, we could have a banquet tonight. I will attend, and we can have a good discussion then. For now, please allow me to handle matters," Arthas preferred not to engage in idle chatter here, even if there were potential deals to be made, they could be discussed in private.

"Lord Duke, my apologies, I will invite you another time," Terenas politely ushered the guest out, choosing his son over potential gains.

"Mr. Duke, I'm sorry, I'll invite you to get together some other time." Terenas saw him off as a guest. In the face of his son and interests, he chose his son.

"As you wish, Your Majesty," Deathwing slightly bowed, showcasing impeccable noble etiquette. Who would have thought a dragon would spend time learning human noble customs?

"His Royal Highness Prince, there will be a banquet at my manor tonight. Please be honored to come. Your Highness and I really have many things to ask you."

"Must." Arthas also plans to use Deathwing. Making a deal with such a powerful creature is inherently seeking skin from a tiger, because if the other party turns against him, he will not be able to stop it. Deathwing can even easily destroy the entire human alliance This is his confidence.

However, this does not mean that Arthas should be afraid. Wealth and wealth are in danger. If he doesn't work hard, he will end up being cared about by the Lich King and become a death knight, which would be boring.

After Deathwing left the study, Terenas slapped the table seriously and said, "Arthas, give me a reason." He didn't believe the demigod's bullshit reasons at all.

"What I said is true, father. I have learned a lot of skills from the holy light, and the holy light has made me smarter. My holy light is not the same as the archbishop's holy light, it is more like a kind of inherited. If I had to explain it, I can only say that I was very lucky. "Arthas lowered his head. There is no market for atheism here. Involving a god would be more convincing.

Terenas knocked on the table habitually, "What does this have to do with Calia? Not to mention that she also has a holy light inheritance?"

"No, she doesn't, she is just an ordinary priest. My inheritance requires the company of relatives, which is a prerequisite. Father, you have many things to do every day, and mother also has to take care of your life. Only elder sister has time to accompany me. So. I don't want my elder sister to get married. Even if I'm selfish, I just want to be stronger and take some of the pressure off my father." Arthas began to play the emotional card. If possible, he would let Terenas die.

Although he never regarded him as his own father, there is still the debt of upbringing.

Ideally, a peaceful passing is the best outcome in the absence of conflict.
