I Am Fugaku Uchiha

T/n: this chapter and next chapter is short then unusual.

Right now, Fugaku had one thought in his mind — that pair was much larger than Mikoto's! He marveled at how she managed to fight with them. Sensing his gaze, Tsunade shot him a look of disgust

"I heard that you and Jiraiya agreed to spar tomorrow," she asked.

He nodded, trying to decipher the meaning behind her sudden change in attitude. He remembered her being annoyed earlier, but now she seemed downright disgusted.

"That's good; then fight me first," Tsunade said with a smirk.

He was taken aback by her provocation. She had a strong desire to beat him hard so that he would be unable to get up.

He was even more baffled: "It seems that Lady Tsunade is eager to fight."

"Of course," Tsunade replied without missing a beat.

Thinking of what happened that night, she felt irritated... This bastard actually made her stay in that place for an hour?

Observing her expression, he smirked, then shrugged off: "Why should I bother fighting you? Sorry, princess, I have some important matters to attend to."

Although he also wanted to spar with Tsunade and see who is stronger, today was not the time to spar. Minato had gone on a mission with his squad away from the village, and he had to find might duy to improve his speed problem.

"Hey, if you don't fight, tomorrow the whole Konoha will know that I, Tsunade of the Senju clan, challenged you, the clan head of the Uchiha clan, but you backed down from the fight." Tsunade smirked, showing that she was proud.

Fugaku is surprised. Why did that sound so familiar? Wasn't that he said to threaten Jiraiya? Damn it, did Jiraiya already spill the beans and tell her that?

He scrutinized Tsunade, trying to figure out her purpose. "You think there is no one in the Uchiha clan who can fight you? Fine, let's fight. Pick a place, Lady Tsunade."

No one in the Uchiha clan? Tsunade didn't understand why the Uchiha clan was involved in her challenge, but she heard that he let her choose the place. So she didn't hesitate.

"I've already chosen a place. Let's go, Clan Head Fugaku, to the Konoha arena."

He is surprised again. This woman seemed to be prepared. Was it for Jiraiya's sake? But it didn't look like it. Could it be simply for the sake of the Uchiha and Senju conflict? This is even more unlikely. He shook his head and followed Tsunade to the arena.

He had set up Jiraiya for a spar, but he didn't expect to be set up by Tsunade now, it was really fate playing tricks on him.

Fugaku had stayed in Konoha for three months, and although he knew where the arena was, he had never been there before. He was afraid that the arena would not be big enough, but now it seemed that his worries were unnecessary.

This place was referred to as an arena, although in reality it was more like a grand gladiator arena, consisting of a vast open space at its center, encompassed by towering walls. Numerous spectator seats lined the walls, offering a sweeping view of the entire arena.

Notably, this was the very same venue where legendary battles such as Naruto versus Neji and Sasuke facing off against Gaara during the Chunin exam arc had taken place.

The arena was remarkably spacious, exceeding the size of the ground located behind Hokage Rock. One could freely exhibit their strength here with little restriction.

Additionally, the entrance had guards posted to regulate access. To gain entry here, one either had to pass the rigorous Chunin exam or possess quite a bit of status. Despite being in the latter category, Fugaku found entering through the entrance to be bothersome and instead favored the ground behind hokage rock.
