I Am Fugaku Uchiha

Chapter 160: A Justu from the Future

As Fugaku skillfully retreated into the dense woods, he left behind an echoing declaration.

Meanwhile, on the other side, members of the Uchiha clan swiftly took advantage of the diversion, unleashing a mesmerizing display of fire-style jutsu to assert their formidable presence in the woods.

The air crackled with the intensity of Uchiha's prowess as flames danced and flickered, casting an ethereal glow that painted the scene in shades of orange and red.

The Suna troops, positioned at a safe distance, observed in awe as the Uchiha men showcased their mastery over the flames, creating a breathtaking spectacle that illuminated the woods.

-----------------------

As the Uchiha clan tactically withdrew, a wave of confusion swept through the Konoha camp, leaving the Ino-Shika-Chō trio even more bewildered by the turn of events.

The impressive display of jutsu they had just witnessed seemed to beg the question: Was it merely a show of force, or was there a deeper strategy at play? The mystery hung in the air, perplexing the onlookers.

Meanwhile, Fugaku, having covered a considerable distance, made a decisive move by using the eighth gate technique, the second gate, enhancing his speed and agility.

Finding a secure vantage point on a sturdy branch, he observed the unfolding scenario with a calculating gaze.

"They must be cautious of a potential ambush within these woods," Fugaku mused to himself, a wry smile playing on his lips. "Their pace will undoubtedly slow down. It doesn't matter whether they're pursuing us or not; their morale is bound to plummet to the depths."

Whether you enter or not, the earth wall needs to be remade. Even if we don't defend it, the suna shinobi will think twice before attacking again, and the trap can be saved for another time.

As Fugaku perched on the tree branch, his keen observation hinted at a deeper layer of tactics, setting the stage for the next chapter in this intricate dance of shinobi warfare.

---------------

"Captain, should we continue the pursuit?”

The captains found themselves at a crossroads, deliberating over their next move. The enemy's elusive clone had proven to be a formidable challenge, and precious time had already slipped away.

Lingering doubts surfaced among the leaders, questioning whether this pursuit could lead them into a trap within the dense forest.

After careful consideration, their seasoned leader took charge, addressing the group with a decisive tone, "Beyond this forest, we'll be close to the Land of Fire's border.

Even if we refrain from attacking, we should at least observe their border defenses. It's just a forest; as long as we remain vigilant for traps, we'll navigate through unscathed."

Confident in their abilities, the squad pressed forward, accompanied by skilled sensory ninjas who could detect and evade potential traps. Little did they anticipate that this decision would mark a turning point, for it was about to lead them into unforeseen peril.

As the Suna Shinobi cautiously advanced, their senses heightened, and their movements careful, the forest's peculiarities began to manifest. A sand shinobi, scrutinizing the surroundings, tightened his grip on his kunai as he observed an unusual dampness underfoot. "Why is this forest so wet?"

He questioned, noting potholes filled with water scattered throughout.

Suspicion crept in, and he voiced his concerns: "Hey, what's going on? Is this some kind of Konoha scheme?"

As the sand shinobi debated the plausibility of a Konoha scheme, one dismissed the notion, asserting, "Don't be paranoid; there's no Konoha ninja around. What scheme could they have? This is water, not oil!"

However, the narrative took an unexpected turn when a solitary drop of water splashed onto a sand shinobi's face, prompting him to question, "Is it raining?"

As the rain persisted, its intensity growing, confusion spread among the sand shinobi.

"What's wrong? It didn't look like it was going to rain before, did it?" One of them pondered aloud.

The once-clear sky now adorned a vast expanse of dark clouds, catching the attention of the vigilant captain.

A sense of foreboding crept over the captain, prompting an uneasy realization. His intuition echoed in unison with the other captains, and collectively, they ordered their men to a halt.

. "Don't go any further; let's get out of here!" The captain urged with an edge of nervousness. Despite being only halfway through the forest, the urgency to retreat gripped them, as if time were running out.

A sudden, booming thunderclap shattered the silence, jolting the sand shinobi. Instinctively, their gazes turned skyward. It was November, and while weather fluctuations were expected on the border, the thick clouds and deafening thunder seemed unnatural.

"Captain, look!" A sand shinobi cried out, pointing towards Fugaku, who stood amidst the bewildering scenario.

The captain, equally perplexed, questioned, "Is that him? What is he doing? What does he want to do?"

----------

Stunned into silence, both the Sand and Leaf ninjas found themselves in awe of the spectacle unfolding before them.

The Uchiha clan's mastery became evident as they harnessed the power of fire release to manipulate the weather. The Uchiha's ability to conjure rain from fire left the onlookers utterly amazed.

With eyes fixed on the winged individual confronting the dark clouds, the shinobi from both villages struggled to find words to articulate their astonishment.

"Is that… Is that… the clan head?" one ninja finally managed to voice, the uncertainty in the question reflecting the collective bewilderment.
