I Am Fugaku Uchiha

Chapter 141: Danzo on the Move

In front of him, they stood, their faces contorted with a mix of disbelief and anger. Fugaku let out a resigned sigh before addressing them.

"You still don't believe me?" he said, his tone tinged with a touch of frustration. "Other nations may know about your ninjutsu, but they're in the dark about its true prowess. If they discover its full potential, they'll either steal from your village or, worse, attempt to eliminate your village."

A murmur of confusion and disbelief rippled through the group.

"How do you know so much about our village's techniques?" one of them demanded.

Fugaku, growing more exasperated, retorted, "Is there no end to your questions? Forget it; I don't have time."

With that, he activated the second gate, the Gate of Healing, and disappeared from their sight.

He didn’t need Sharingan to be used for what came next. Fugaku effortlessly took down the group of star ninjas who relied solely on their technique. The field echoed with the sound of bodies hitting the ground, a rhythmic percussion of defeat.

In the aftermath, only the old man, Hoshikage, his two guards, and Arata remained standing. The Hoshikage looked terrified, realizing they couldn't keep up with Fugaku's swift movements.

"I suggested a peaceful meal and conversation earlier," Fugaku remarked, appearing unfazed. "Isn't standing here and exchanging meaningless words more trouble than it's worth?"

Hoshikage, now more humble, replied, "Please, as you wish. We'll cooperate."

They proceeded in silence, with the two guards checking on their fallen comrades to confirm they were unconscious but still breathing. The encounter with that formidable man had left them in awe; they knew they couldn't match his strength.

Fugaku, on the other hand, was mindful of his actions. He didn't intend to deliver lethal blows, and he was reluctant to exploit Konoha's reputation to instill fear, realizing it could only breed resentment.

Despite his reservations, it appeared that the people held little sympathy for their current plight.

Fugaku recalled hearing about the Peacock Method, a technique that required the meteorite star unique to the Star Ninja Village. Following Hoshikage, he arrived at the colossal pit created by the impact of the meteorite.

Within the depths of the pit, a room emerged where young individuals were engaged in training. Fugaku observed them, meditating around a platform at the room's center.

Positioned on the platform was the meteorite, and beside it were two girls deep in concentration.

"This is the star? Excuse me, Hoshikage, can I have some time?" Fugaku asked politely, expressing his desire to study the mysterious celestial object on his own.

The old Hoshikage appeared somewhat taken aback, responding with a bit of delay, "Kids, take a break from training for a while."

Curiosity piqued, and one of the young trainees questioned, "Why?"

"What's the matter, Hoshikage?" another inquired.

"Kids, just leave the room now!" Hoshikage insisted, the authority in his voice evident. Just moments ago, he had effortlessly incapacitated all the ninjas in the village, making any objection futile.

Fortunately, Fugaku had no intentions of pillaging or causing harm. The youngsters left the room, their expressions a mix of curiosity and confusion.

Fugaku calmly approached the star platform and seated himself. Retrieving a scroll from his arm, he handed 100,000 ryo to Hoshikage.

"Please share your ninjutsu method with me. And, by the way, ensure you and the others have enough food every day," Fugaku requested, seamlessly merging courtesy with practical concerns.

Hoshikage accepted the payment with a smile, acknowledging Fugaku's goodwill. Once the elderly leader departed, Fugaku turned his attention to the extraterrestrial meteorite before him, picking it up with curiosity.

He sensed the intense chakra emanating from within and couldn't help but smile. "An extraterrestrial meteorite is truly intriguing. I wonder if its effects only manifest with prolonged cultivation nearby."

However, he had good chakra control, and he should be able to master it soon.

Confident in his chakra control, Fugaku believed he could quickly master the unique properties of the meteorite. Whether it was Chidori or Susanoo, both were manifestations of chakra materialization. With the right knowledge, he could transform the chakra into any desired form.

As for potential side effects, Fugaku dismissed any concerns. Even the restorative nature of his Mangekyo Sharingan-induced injuries was of little consequence to him.

Two figures clad in black robes silently approached the Konoha camp in the Land of Rivers, carefully avoiding detection by the patrolling ninjas. Rather than entering, they lingered in the shadows, their presence unnoticed.

Later that night, a third individual, also in a black robe, discreetly left the camp, moving with purpose towards the waiting pair.

“How’s it going?” inquired the leader of the black-robed duo, his voice low and devoid of emotion.

"Kekeke, it seems we've encountered a bit of trouble on the battlefield, but the war is far from over. Uchiha Fugaku is proving to be too formidable," responded the other man in a low, raspy voice, his pale skin barely visible in the darkness.

This mysterious figure was none other than Orochimaru, and accompanying him was Danzo, evident by the presence of his root agents trailing behind.

"Did we lose anyone?" questioned the black-robed leader.

“None of them perished, and the Suna camp is too intimidated to launch an attack now,” Orochimaru reported.

Danzo furrowed his brows at Orochimaru’s words, asking, "Why is Suna Shinobi proving to be so useless? Didn't Uchiha Fugaku leave? Are they afraid to engage with such overwhelming numbers?"

"Kekeke," Orochimaru chuckled, "the Uchiha clan has a new leader named Uchiha Akihiko. He employs the transformation technique to mimic Uchiha Fugaku every time Suna Shinobi attempts to assess the situation. They dare not scrutinize closely and eventually abandon their plans."

Orochimaru shrugged as he shared this information, acknowledging the effectiveness of the deception. However, he couldn't help but be astounded at how many times the same ruse had worked. It underscored the profound fear Uchiha Fugaku had instilled in the Suna ninja during his nocturnal raid on their camp.

Danzo, absorbing the details, shifted the conversation: "What about our experimental base in Kawanokuni?"
