Chapter 9: Hermione

Let's move forward in time.

……………………

Hermione looked at the thin figure rushing towards the sea of fire, and a strong sense of uneasiness pulled her consciousness back from the panic.

""Glenn, don't!"

She looked at the figure disappearing in the sea of fire, her heart and liver were about to burst.

And the breath emanating from Glenn...

Hermione swore that she had never seen Glenn so angry. Even though his murderous intent was not directed at her, Hermione felt like she had fallen into a dark abyss just by looking into his eyes. Her body couldn't help but tremble.

The instinct of survival screamed at Hermione to leave quickly, but... he was Glenn!

Hermione bit her lip and forced herself to calm down. Her mind frantically flipped through the past memories, trying to find the person who could be in the sea of fire. A way to rescue Glenn.

She couldn't watch Glenn die in the fire while she ran away alone!

The courage hidden in the girl's heart was revealed at this moment.

Her lip was bitten, and the sweet and fishy taste of blood stimulated Hermione's nerves. Without hesitation, she ran to the place where her quilts were dried.

Pulling off a thick quilt, Hermione untied the bracelet knife Glenn gave her, and slashed at the plastic water pipe on the side!

Clear water gushed out and soaked the quilt. While the water was soaking the quilt, Hermione quickly cut two square pieces of cloth from her clothes, wet them as well, and lifted the quilt to cover it. She covered her body with a blanket and rushed towards the burning Glenn's house.

The house was spitting out flames, licking everything that could burn. The heat wave was coming towards her, and Hermione's face turned pale with fear.

But she did not stop, she covered her mouth and nose with a wet towel, screamed, covered herself with a quilt, and rushed in.

The flames tried to devour this reckless little thing, but they could not get close to her.

The irregular black matter mixed in the flames seemed to have its own consciousness at this time, madly devouring the flames approaching the quilt.

Hermione rushed to one place blindly with a wet quilt wrapped around her.

Her heart was filled with anxiety. There was only one strong thought in her mind at this moment.

Find Glenn!

Somehow, Hermione felt guided.

A gentle force flowed in her body, leading her direction.

Following the power in her heart, she saw Glenn lying on the ground with blood coming out of his seven orifices.

The surrounding black matter surrounded him, like a minister guarding their king.

But it was obvious that these substances were rapidly dissipating, gradually increasing in size, releasing violent danger.

Hermione threw herself on Glenn and covered the two of them with the wet quilt.

She couldn't hold it back any longer, her eyes turned red and she cried directly

"Glenn, you lost so much blood!"Hermione used her body to hold up the quilt, trying to block the surrounding heat, and her tears fell on Glenn's face.

She took out a piece of cloth soaked in water and prepared to cover Glenn's mouth and nose.

Now she began to think about how to get Glenn out of the sea of fire safely.

But before she could start brainstorming, she was turned over by Glenn, who held her tightly in his arms and protected her under him.

Glenn hugged Hermione with one hand, knelt on his knees, and completely covered Hermione under him. He whispered something, and his head drooped, but his posture remained motionless.

A large amount of black matter gushed out of Glenn's body, and in that instant, it cleared the surrounding flames and house wreckage.

But as Glenn's face became paler and paler, the black matter did not stop growing, almost filling the entire space, and gradually became uncontrollable, with a tendency to explode, and Hermione's hair stood on end.

A large amount of blood gushed out of Glenn's seven orifices, and the bleeding in his eyes was particularly serious.

Feeling the gradual loss of the temperature of the person in his arms and the loss of vitality, Hermione frantically shouted Glenn's name

"Glenn! Stop letting this stuff out! It'll kill you!"

"Wake up! Glenn! Open your eyes and look at me!"

Hermione shouted in pain, but got no response.

The little girl hugged the little boy desperately, crying and begging

"Please, stop!"

Hermione's desire to protect and stop Glenn reached its peak. At this moment, she felt a warm current surging from her head to her hands, outlining a beautiful and mysterious circuit in her body, followed by a sense of withdrawal. She subconsciously hugged Glenn tightly and fainted. A soft white light flickered, slowly flowing along Hermione's arm to Glenn, and then the light became brighter, covering the rioting black matter in the air.

The energy that was about to explode slowly stabilized, and then slowly dissipated in the air.

The light slowly dimmed, but there was a place on Glenn's chest that was still emitting light.

Warm and soft.

After a few seconds, this light also went out.

Only a bulge in the center of the ruins remained, slowly rising and falling with the steady breathing of the two.

A few seconds later, a burst of flames flickered, and a tall old man in a robe appeared in the flames, with blue eyes behind the half-moon glasses full of anger.

Then he saw the quilt bulging in the ruins of the house, his face changed, and with a"pop", he appeared next to the quilt.

"Fawkes." The old man knelt down and took out two bottles of potion filled with blue liquid and fed them to Glenn and Hermione under the quilt.

A fiery red bird appeared on his shoulder. The old man took out a small bottle and put it next to its eyes.

Fawkes shed a few tears, which the old man put into the bottle and fed to the two children on the ground.

Seeing Glenn and Hermione's faces gradually turn red, the old man breathed a sigh of relief.

There was another"pop" sound, and a pale man with greasy shoulder-length hair and a hooked nose appeared beside the old man.

"Severus, you and Fox take these two children back first, and treat them with Poppy. I gave them a magic potion, but it's just a drop in the bucket. The magic energy in their bodies is almost exhausted. The old man looked at Snape through the half-moon lens.

The latter did not respond, but silently turned the quilt into a stretcher, put the two little guys hugging each other on it, and then disappeared in the flames.

Watching the few people disappear, the old man stood up, feeling the flow of magic around him, and his eyes revealed a moment of shock.

""Silently." He murmured.

Then a trace of sadness appeared, the old man looked painful, his hands clenched, but in the blink of an eye, he returned to normal, as if it was an illusion.

He took out his wand and pointed it at the ruins in front of him.

""Restored to its original state." Chanting the spell, the broken ruins flew up in the white light as if time was going backwards, and gradually pieced together.

Soon, Glenn's house was restored to its original state.

"The parents of the two children now know about their children's magical talents."A rough voice like carving rotten wood came from behind the old man, and another man with gray hair and a wooden leg came over.

His face was full of scars, one eye was normal, and the other bright blue eye was unusually large, and kept blinking, turning up and down, left and right, completely unrelated to the normal eye.

"But I modified their memories so that they would forget this attack by the Death Eaters.

His eyes stopped rolling around, he stamped his wooden leg, and stared at the old man.

"Stay alert, Albus, you and I both know that the man is not completely dead yet." He shouted

"Seven Muggles died in the attack, and two Aurors were also killed when they were alarmed. Fortunately, the boy's parents were stuck in traffic when they came back, and the two children's magic power was rioting. Fortunately, they killed the five Death Eaters, otherwise there would be greater casualties."

"You have to compensate them, especially the two little wizards. God knows how scared they were when they faced those beasts."Mad-Eye Mudi said bitterly. Dumbledore was in no mood to talk, so he nodded in response and turned to walk towards the Grangers.

He was responsible for further explanation to the Hawthornes and the Grangers.
